“Hi, it’s Jungkook. I’m busy right now so I’ll probably call you back later.”
You sigh, frustrated as you’re met with Jungkook’s voicemail once again. This was the seventh time you were calling him within an hour and you were starting to grow worried.
At first, you were disappointed that he was late to dinner, but after getting no response, you thought something might be wrong.
You decide to call Namjoon, knowing he’s more responsible with picking up his phone. He answers on the third ring, “Hello?”
“Hey, is Jungkook there?” You ask worriedly.
“Yeah, he’s still practicing with Jimin and Hoseok. Do you want to speak to him?” he asks.
You let out a relieved sigh before answering, “It’s alright. He was supposed to be here an hour ago for dinner, I just wanted to make sure he’s okay. Thanks for letting me know,”
Namjoon shakes his head, disappointed in Jungkook, “No problem. Happy Birthday by the way.”
You thank him and say your goodbyes, hanging up to the phone. You were looking forward to spending some time with Jungkook since he’s been so busy lately. You don’t blame him, you know it’s what you signed up for and you fully support him, but you can’t help but feel disappointed that he forgot.
Sadly looking at your homemade dishes that have since grown cold, you start putting them away, having lost your appetite. You decide to go to sleep early, knowing Jungkook would be tired after practice and would probably go straight home to rest.

Namjoon sighs as he watches Jungkook practicing. You were very understanding and he could tell you and Jungkook truly loved each other, but he was afraid Jungkook’s negligence would push you away.
He decides it’s none of his business and grabs his bag. Before leaving, he calls out to the maknae, “Jungkook,” Jungkook pauses and looks over to the leader, “Make sure you apologize to y/n when you’re done, she was worried sick about you.” Jungkook nods and goes back to practicing, not processing what he said. A few seconds later, Namjoon’s words hit him, eyes widening as he realizes,
he forgot.
Panicking, he quickly starts gathering his stuff. Watching Jungkook in confusion, Jimin and J-Hope just shrug at each other and continue practicing. “Tell y/n we say happy birthday!” Jimin yells out to Jungkook as he rushes out of the practice room. Once he’s in the car, he checks his phone, finding seven missed calls from you. He facepalms, cursing himself for being so stupid.
Before the car can fully come to a stop, he’s pushing the door open and jumping out of the vehicle, rushing up to your door. He knocks loudly but is only met with silence. Noticing that all the lights are off, he uses his spare key knowing that you’ve probably gone to bed already.
Knocking quietly on your bedroom door, he slowly opens it when he receives no answer. He peaks his head in and his heart feels heavy when he finds you curled up in bed, dried tears on your face. He places a light kiss on your forehead, whispering a small apology. He sits next to you on your bed, stroking your hair and staring at you lovingly, the moonlight making you look even more beautiful. Feeling nothing but regret, he knows he can’t change the past but he’s determined to make it up to you.

The next morning, you wake up to the sound of pots and pans coming from the kitchen. Confused, you rub the sleep out of your eyes and climb out of the bed.
As you enter your kitchen searching for the source of noise, you’re met with a sight that makes you smile; Jungkook behind the stove, wiping down the counter while looking extremely focused. You can’t help but giggle which causes Jungkook to look up at you.
“Y/n!” He says excitedly, throwing the cloth in his hands away and walking around the counter to meet you. Placing his hands on his hips, he asks you with a big smile,
“Do you know what day it is?”
You raise an eyebrow at him, “Saturday?”
“It’s your birthday!” He says excitedly.
Thinking he mixed up the date of your birthday, you correct him, “My birthday was yesterday Kookie,” you say with a forced laugh.
He grins at you and shows you his phone, “Are you sure? Look at the date.” Low and behold, the date on his lock screen was yesterday’s date. Your brows furrow in confusion before realizing he set the date back for you.
When he sees the realization set in your features, he grins even wider before he pulls you into a tight hug, mumbling into your hair, “Happy birthday babe, I’m sorry I forgot yesterday. And I know I haven’t been the best boyfriend lately but please let me make it up to you.”
Having already forgiven him, you hug him back, “It’s okay Kookie, I know you have a lot of work to do. I’m just glad I get to spend some time with you now,” you say with a bright smile before pulling away. You place a quick kiss on his cheek before excitedly running into the kitchen.
“Cupcakes!” You exclaimed happily when you find the desserts on the table.
He quickly rushes in after you yelling, “Hey! Breakfast first, those are for later!”

You peak around the door frame, watching Jungkook’s shoulders rise and fall as he breathes heavily.
You had stopped by their dorm to bring them dinner, and when you asked where Jungkook was, they gave you that look. The look they gave you every time Jungkook refused to listen to them and wouldn’t stop practicing until he collapsed. You sighed deeply before grabbing your keys and heading to the company building.
It wasn’t an uncommon occurrence when one of the members, usually Namjoon, would call you and ask you to knock some sense into your boyfriend.
His hardworking nature was something you all admired greatly, but sometimes he didn’t know his own limits.
And that’s what led you to be standing outside the practice room, waiting for the song to finish as Jungkook takes a seat on the floor. You gently knock on the door, making him aware of your presence.
He turns to look at you over his shoulder. You give him a warm smile, but it drops a little when he doesn’t return it. Normally he’d welcome you with his adorable bunny smile, but he only gives you a small glance before turning back to the mirror.
“What are you doing here?” he asks monotonously.
“I heard you were practicing late again, so I came to get you. Come on, they’re waiting for you to eat dinner,” you answer cheerfully.
Without even looking at you, he makes a shooing motion with his hand as he stands up. “Tell them to eat without me,” he says, “I need to practice more.”
You frown at his words. “But it’s already 10 pm. Haven’t you practiced enough?” you try to convince him.
Knowing you can’t see his face, he rolls his eyes at you as he gets up to replay the music.
His performance had to be perfect, and you were just getting in his way.
Seeing that he wasn’t listening to you, you quickly make your way in front of Jungkook, blocking his path to the laptop that controls the music.
He glares down at you, but you stare back just as intensely.
“Kookie, you’ve been practicing for 3 hours. You’re human, not some machine, you need to rest,” you stare desperately into his eyes, hoping that he would listen to you.
He simply scoffs at you before moving back to the middle of the room, deciding to practice without the music.
Your brows furrow as he completely brushes you off. You were worried about him, everyone was. Sometimes Jungkook was so hardworking that he would forget to take care of himself, so it was your job to take care of him when he couldn’t.
But how could you take care of him if he wouldn’t let you?
“Are you even listening to me?” you try again.
He simply chooses to ignore you once. He had been practicing hard and it was starting to take its toll on him. His patience was running thin and he knew that if he opened his mouth, he might say some things he doesn’t mean.
Growing frustrated with him, you quickly walk up to him. He tries to sidestep you but you keep moving in front of him.
“Get out of my way y/n,” he says coldly.
You stand your ground as you cross your arms over your chest. “I know how much this means to you, but you have to rest too! Please Jungkook I’m worried about you-”
“What do you know?!” he explodes as he takes a step closer to you.
You flinch at his sudden movement and the volume of his voice, and you take a step back in fear.
Jungkook was always kind and gentle towards others, so you weren’t used to this side of him.
Jungkook wasn’t very familiar with this side of himself either. He rarely ever raised his voice at others because he knew he would regret it, but all his stress has been building up and he didn’t even realize he was taking it out on you.
“You wouldn’t know what it’s like to have all this pressure on you!” He clenches his fists tightly as he stares at the floor.
You bite your lip, trying to hold back your tears. You knew that he was just stressed and he didn’t mean it, but his words still stung.
Trying to calm himself down, he takes a few deep breaths as he focuses on the floor, but a quiet sniffle from you makes him look over to you.
The sight of you staring up at him with fear and tears forming in your eyes made his heart sink to his stomach. He was your boyfriend; he was supposed to make you feel safe and loved, but he hurt you.
He slowly lifts his hand as a tear escapes and rolls down your cheek. He gently wipes it away as he looks at you.
He gave you a look that was filled with guilt, and his eyes were also starting to gloss over at the thought of hurting you.
“I’m sorry y/n, I didn’t mean anything I said I just-”
“I know Kookie,” you interrupt him as you softly place your hand over his hand that was still on your cheek.
You stare at him with pleading eyes, “But please take care of yourself. I hate seeing you like this and we’re all just worried about you.”
He just nods eagerly before pulling you into his chest. He rests his chin on top of your head, and he stares at himself in the mirror as he instantly regrets yelling at you.
“Thank you for taking care of me, and everyone else,” he starts. “I don’t know what I would do without you,” he tells you as he buries his face in your hair.
“Of course. I’ll always be here for you Kookie,” you tell him as you look up at him with a smile.
He smiles back at you before placing his hands beneath your legs and lifting you off the ground. You make a sound of surprise as you wrap your arms and legs around him, afraid you were going to fall.
He chuckles as he wraps his arms around you tightly.
“Don’t worry, I’ve got you,” he tells you, and he means it with all his heart. No matter what, he’d always be there to protect you. You nod and relax in his arms.
You close your eyes and rest your chin on his shoulder as he carries you to the car, knowing that you’re safe as long as you’re in Jungkook’s arms.

“Why are you so damn stubborn?” you cry out in frustration, glaring at Jungkook through the tears forming in your eyes. For the past week, Jungkook hasn’t been eating properly because he wanted to lose weight for their next comeback, and you were worried about him. You understand that they have to look their best, but only drinking water for a few days was not the way to go. You tried to hold back from exploding on Jungkook because you knew he was already stressed out with the comeback, but it felt like you were talking to a brick wall and the dam was about to burst.
“I told you I’m fine y/n!” he yells back equally as frustrated, clearly also tired of having the same conversation for the third time this week. “It’s only this one time, and it’s our first comeback of the year!” he tries to reason with you. “It’s not fine! I don’t care that you feel fine or that it’s only this once, this isn’t healthy Jungkook!” you tell him for what feels like the one hundredth time, trying to get it through to him.
Jungkook glares at you when you refuse to back down, but you glare back just as intensely. You know how important this comeback is to him and all of the boys, and it’s important to you too. But Jungkook’s health will always be your first priority, and it was your responsibility to knock some sense into him when he was too stubborn to see he was harming himself.
Jungkook can’t deny that this is unhealthy. He knows that. But he won’t admit it because, to him, this comeback is more important than his health. A few days on only water won’t kill him, and as soon as the music video shooting is over, he can go back to eating as much as he wants. Why were you making such a big deal out of it?
He continues to glower at you, unable to say anything because he knows you’re right even if he doesn’t agree with you. Instead of talking back, he simply turns around and ignores you. “Don’t walk away from me!” you order him as you trail after him down the hall. You two have had fights before, but you always tried to talk like mature adults and at the very least, listen to each other.
You try to follow him into your shared bedroom, but you’re stopped when he slams the door just millimetres away from your face. He hasn’t locked it, and you know that if you really wanted to, you could walk in and continue to argue, but you don’t. You’re stubborn and sometimes you don’t know when to give up. Jungkook knows this, which is why he tried to run away from you. But this time, you don’t follow him.
You were just so frustrated. No matter what you two were fighting about, you would always listen and try to understand each other. But this time, he wasn’t listening to you. That much was clear since this definitely wasn’t the first time you were having this conversation. But blatantly ignoring you and pushing you away was the last straw for you.
You weren’t upset that he wasn’t listening to you and doing what you told him to do. It was the fact that he wasn’t even hearing you. Staring at the wooden door in front of you, you bite down on your lip to try and contain your sobs. Being ignored and going unheard was frustrating, it made you feel unwanted, and it hurt.
He made it perfectly clear that he doesn’t care about what you think and he doesn’t want to see you or hear you, so you retreat back to the living room, padding over to the couch where you crumble into the blankets. You bury your face into a pillow to muffle your cries, unable to do anything but lay on the couch as your sobs wrack through your body so hard it hurts.

In the middle of your shared bedroom, Jungkook stands with his back facing the door, expecting you to walk in right after him. He waits for the sound of the door bursting open along with your angry footsteps, but he’s met with nothing but silence. He waits and waits, and when nothing happens, he turns around to make sure the door isn’t locked. He stares at the unlocked doorknob, confused as to why it’s not turning and why you’re not following him in.
After a few minutes of staring at the door, he starts to cool down, and he starts to regret slamming the door in your face. Did he hurt you? Is that why you weren’t coming in? He wants to go check on you, but his pride holds him back. Neither of you has ever walked away during an argument, and he’s starting to see why. He was angry and it was a spur of the moment thing, but now that he was left alone in the silence of your bedroom, all he can focus on is the guilt and regret seeping into his heart.
Unable to handle the silence anymore, he opens the door, hoping to find you standing on the other side, but you’re not there. He walks down the dark hallway towards the living room, stopping when he hears the television show you put on to drown out your sobs. But he can still hear them, and his heart breaks knowing he was the cause of your tears.
Listening to your small cries and whimpers, he realizes that while, to him, this comeback may be more important than his health, it’s not worth your pain. From the beginning, he knew you were right. He knows he’s wrong, or else he wouldn’t be hiding the fact that he wasn’t eating from all his Hyungs. But he couldn’t hide it from you, you cared too much. And thank God you did, because he would be lying if he said that he didn’t feel sick whenever he went through an intense dance practice on an empty stomach.
All you wanted was for him to take proper care of himself. Why did it take him so long to see that? He curses himself and his stubbornness for dragging this on for so long, and by the time he realizes that none of this is worth it, your cries have been reduced to small, occasional sniffles. He wants to hold you, to apologize and comfort you, but he’s frozen in place. He’s put you through so much anger and grief the past week, the least you deserve is a good night’s rest. So he stands in the hall, hiding behind the corner as he waits for you to fall asleep.
When he can hear your light snores and he’s sure you’re asleep, he comes out from his hiding spot, turning the television off before moving over to the couch. He crouches beside you, taking a moment to observe you. He feels a sharp pang in his chest when he sees the dried tear streaks on your cheeks, as well as the dark circles under your eyes and the slight downturn to your lips caused by constantly worrying about him.
He hooks an arm under your knees and places his other arm under your back to support you, gently lifting you from the couch and carrying you back to the bedroom bridal style. He softly lays you in bed, climbing in after you and turning to face you. He tenderly caresses your face, swiping his thumb across your cheek as he holds your face in his hands. This was the most at peace he’s seen you this week, and even with the dried tears on your face and the bags under your eyes, you still looked beautiful to him.
“I’m sorry y/n,” he whispers before placing a soft kiss on your forehead. Your body subconsciously snuggles closer to him, searching for warmth. He wraps his arms around you protectively, mumbling a small “I love you,” before falling asleep next to you.

The next morning, you wake up feeling exhausted despite getting a full eight hours of rest. Rubbing the sleep out of your eyes, you try to sit up, only to feel an extra weight around your waist. You look down to find Jungkook’s arms loosely wrapped around your torso. Did he carry you here last night? You swear you fell asleep on the couch.
He groans when he feels you sit up, tightening his arms around your waist and laying his head in your lap. If it were any other time, you would find his clingy, sleepy state adorable, but you were still upset with him. “Jungkook,” you say as a warning that tells him you haven’t forgiven him just yet. Hearing the tone of your voice, his eyes shoot open. He forgot that although he realized you were right and apologized, you weren’t awake to hear it.
He withdraws his arms from your figure, sitting up next to you as he pulls one of your hands into his lap. “I’m sorry y/n,” is the first thing he says, pouting at you like a child that just got scolded. “You were right, a comeback isn’t worth not eating properly. And I shouldn’t have slammed the door in your face. I was just mad and I-” you cut him off as you wrap your arms around his neck, resting your chin on his shoulder as you move one hand into his hair.
“Jungkook, it’s okay. I don’t care about that,” you lie, trying to make him feel better, “Taking proper care of yourself is all that matters.” He pulls you into his lap as he wraps his arms around your waist, burying his face in the crook of your neck. “I promise I’ll eat. I was lying when I said I felt fine,” he admits with a breathy laugh, causing you to giggle as well. “But,” he adds, “I know you’re lying too. I know I hurt you when I walked away from you, but I promise I wouldn’t do that again either.”
“Okay,” you whisper as you comb your fingers through his hair, knowing it comforts him and helps him relax. He falls back against the bed, bringing you down with him so you’re laying on top of him. You enjoy the moment of peace after a long week of stress, listening to the steady beat of Jungkook’s heart. But the silence is suddenly interrupted by the loud growl of his stomach. You burst into laughter as Jungkook’s cheeks turn slightly pink. You try to get up from his chest but he tightens his grip around you, refusing to let you go. “Jungkook,” you giggle, “I have to make breakfast.”
He pouts at you, silently begging you to stay in bed with him but you force yourself to resist his puppy dog eyes. “Can we have pizza for breakfast?” he asks shyly. “We can have whatever you want,” you tell him with a small smile as you open the bedroom door, glad he was finally going to eat something. “By the way,” you say as you turn to look at him over your shoulder, “I bought your favourite banana milk. It’s in the fridge if you want some.” And that’s all it took to get Jungkook out of bed and get some food in his system.

Walking through the halls of HYBE, you smile giddily to yourself as you turn the corner leading to BTS’ practice room. You were currently on your way to surprise your boyfriend Jungkook at work because you haven’t seen him in a while due to his extremely busy work schedule.
With a slight skip in your step, you make your way to the door, reaching for the handle, about to open the door when you hear the mention of your name. “Did you and y/n get in a fight or something? Why are you avoiding her?” you hear Jin ask assumingly Jungkook. He was avoiding you? Is that why he wasn’t coming home?
You freeze with your hand on the doorknob, straining to hear Jungkook’s response. You didn’t want to eavesdrop, but the fear of Jungkook avoiding you was enough to momentarily push aside your morals. “We didn’t get in a fight. She can just be so...” he pauses as he tries to think of the right word, “Clingy sometimes.”
His words sting and before your brain can even comprehend what you’re doing, your legs are carrying you away from the practice room. But as soon as you turn around, you collide with someone’s chest, nearly knocking them over with how eager you were to get out of there. “Woah, y/n are you okay?” Jimin asks as he places his hands on your shoulders to steady you.
Getting a closer look at you, he notices the tears building up in your eyes. “What’s wrong?” he tries to ask you, but you simply shake your head at him. “Nothing, I’m fine,” you tell him as you force a smile. “I have to go, I’ll see you around Jimin,” you say as you quickly brush past him, wishing you had never come here in the first place.
Jimin clenches his fists tightly by his sides as he watches you rush down the hall, your shoulders that rising and falling was a clear sign that you were crying. He had heard what Jungkook said and he knows you heard too. He couldn’t believe Jungkook would say such a thing so carelessly and now he had hurt you.
“You shouldn’t say things like that Jungkook,” Jimin hears as he walks into the practice room. “I know,” the maknae admits already regretting what he said. “I just need some time to be alone so I’ve been staying at the dorms,” he explains, not meaning what he said about you. Noticing that Jimin was back, everyone stands from their seats on the floor, ready to get back to practicing now that Jimin was back from the bathroom.
“Then you should talk to her about that. Avoiding her isn’t going to solve anything,” Namjoon advises him before joining the other boys in the middle of the practice room. The maknae nods although their words were just flying over his head. He didn’t need to talk to you about it because he didn’t even mean what he said, it was just a hard week for all of them.
Throughout the rest of practice, Jimin was rather cold to the maknae, but he just assumed Jimin was just as exhausted as he was. When they finally get another break, Jungkook rushes to his bag to check his phone for any notifications from you. You always send him daily texts asking him about his day and telling him about yours, but you were late today.
And when he still didn’t receive anything from you and it was nearing the end of the day, he started to get worried. “Y/n still hasn’t texted me,” he frowns at his phone. Jimin scoffs next to Jungkook as he places his water bottle down. “I wonder why,” he says sarcastically. “What do you mean Hyung?” the maknae asks, oblivious as to why Jimin seemed so pissed at him. Jimin knew he shouldn’t be so hard on him. They were all tired and he knew Jungkook didn’t mean it, but he couldn’t get your heartbroken expression or your sad smile out of his head.
“She was here,” he says staring at the floor, “She heard you.” Jungkook’s eyes widen as he whips his head to look at Jimin. “What?” he asks in disbelief, but the solemn look on Jimin’s face is enough for him to know he was telling the truth. “I have to go!” he yells over his shoulder as he rushes to grab all his stuff, hurriedly running out the practice room.

You jump from your spot on the couch when you hear the front door burst open, walking out of the living room to find a panting Jungkook standing in the doorway. Before you can ask him what’s wrong, he’s already questioning you. “Y/n? Is everything okay?” he asks as soon as he spots you standing in the hall. “Why wouldn’t I be?” you ask, feigning ignorance.
“You didn’t text me today. I thought something happened,” he lies, acting as if he didn’t know you heard him. “Oh yeah,” you rub the back of your neck nervously as you try to think of an excuse. “I was really busy, I guess I just forgot,” you laugh awkwardly, but Jungkook knows you’re lying. You’ve never missed a day for the past year, and it couldn’t just be a coincidence that the one day you forget is the day he said something hurtful.
Trying to subtly assure you, Jungkook acts super clingy, being sure to tell you how much he loves your cuddles and affection. But that only aids in making you confused. He was just calling you clingy earlier today and now he was telling you how much he loves cuddling with you. What did he want from you?
Jungkook acted as if everything was fine but you were still hurt. And every time he tried to reach out to you, his words would flash through your mind, halting your movements and causing you to drawback.
Brushing off his affections, you somehow avoid all his advances in an effort to give him the space you thought he wanted. Instead of cuddling into his side like you usually did when you two sat on the couch, you sat on the opposite side of the couch, keeping a great distance between you two. And when he tried to sit next to you on the couch, you just barely slipped from his grasp, running into the kitchen to grab a snack.
Turning around, Jungkook watches your form as you retreat into the kitchen, his heart heavy when he sees just how desperate you are to get away from him. He didn’t mean what he said and he regretted being so careless, but no matter how badly he wanted to take back his words the damage has already been done.
Climbing into bed later that night, you lie down with your back facing him on your side of the bed. He stares sadly at your back, frowning at how far you’re laying from him when you should be in his arms. Despite all his efforts, you were still so distant and the guilt was killing him. He couldn’t bear knowing that you were hurting because of him.
He gently pokes your arm, causing you to turn around to meet his sad, doe eyes. “Kookie? What’s wrong?” you ask gently when he looks at you guiltily. “I’m sorry,” he says as he wraps his arms around you and pulls closer to him, but you didn’t know what he was apologizing for. All you could focus on was trying to get away but he holds you tight, not letting you go. “Please don’t stop hugging or kissing me,” he whispers, “You’re not clingy, I didn’t mean what I said.”
“Your hugs and kisses are the only things I look forward to after a long day of work,” he tells you, “So please don’t stop.” You stop struggling against him, but some of your doubts and insecurities remain. “Why would you say it then?” you ask as you look up at him with big eyes. “This week has just been so hard, I was tired and I let it get to me,” he admits, disappointed in himself.
At the tiredness in his voice, you can’t find it in yourself to stay mad at him, understanding the stress and fatigue he must have been feeling, “It’s okay Kookie.” But even though you’ve forgiven him, he can still see the insecurity swimming around in your eyes, and in his mind, he promises himself that he’ll make you see how much he truly loves your affection.
“I missed you so much,” he sighs as he hugs you a little tighter. “I missed you too,” you say back as you wrap your arms around him, nuzzling into his chest as the two of you fall asleep tightly clinging onto each other under the blankets.

Walking through the building of HBYE, your hurried footsteps are all that could be heard echoing throughout the empty hallways. As you speed walk towards your destination, you recall the conversation you just had with the other members as you passed by them on their way out.
“Hey y/n!” they all greet you brightly despite the late hour. You approach them with a smile, but your smile slowly turns into a frown when you notice one person missing. “Where’s Jungkook?” you ask, although you already know the answer. Namjoon points over his shoulder with a heavy sigh, “He’s still practicing. We tried to get him to rest but he doesn’t listen.” Shaking your head in disapproval, you bid them goodnight before heading to their practice room to fetch said boy.
You had called him several times when he was late for the dinner you two planned, and when he didn’t answer any of your calls, you drove all the way to HYBE to give him a piece of your mind. You loved everything about Jungkook, including his hardworking and dedicated nature, but sometimes he didn’t know where to draw the line between working hard and overexertion. That’s when you and the other members would have to step in, stopping him before he could burn himself out.
You burst into BTS’ practice room, slightly panting from all the flights of stairs you had to climb because you were too impatient to wait for the elevator. “What are you doing here?” he asks as he stares blankly at you. “Nice to see you too,” you say sarcastically, crossing your arms over your chest as you give him an unimpressed look. “It’s already 1 am, shouldn’t you be at home?” he ignores your snarky comment as he states the obvious.
“I could be saying the same about you,” you shoot back. He rolls his eyes at you, moving towards the monitor to start the music again. “Jungkook,” you call out. “That’s enough,” you say sternly. When he doesn’t seem to hear you, or at least he doesn’t acknowledge that he heard you, you start to get ticked off.
“Did you hear me?” you ask, raising your voice as you try to be heard over the music. But he continues to dance as if you weren’t there at all. Stomping over to the monitor, you turn the music off, waiting for him to acknowledge that you’re there. “What is wrong with you Jungkook?” you ask frustratedly. Even though he could be stubborn, he was never this immature, going as far as ignoring your entire presence.
But just like you, he seemed to be reaching his patience’s end and your comment caused something in him to snap. “You’re what’s wrong with me!” he blurts out without thinking. “You’re always bothering me and telling me to rest and take care of myself. Don’t you understand how important work is? I can’t just take a break whenever I want to y/n!” he says glares at you coldly.
Ignoring the sharp pain in your chest caused by his harsh words and the tears forming in your eyes, you continue to fight back, “Everyone’s already left except for you!” You knew just how important his work to him was and he had your full support. But you also knew that he wasn’t required to stay hours later than everyone else and work himself to the point of exhaustion.
“You’re so annoying,” he mumbles under his breath. “Why? Because I’m right?” you spit out. “Because you never shut up!” he shouts at you, his breathing ragged as he stares at you. Any retorts you had get stuck in your throat as it constricts and it suddenly feels hard to breathe. You blink rapidly to keep your tears from falling, refusing to show how much his words affected you.
Jungkook doesn’t miss the hurt that flashes across your face, and it causes a tight feeling in his chest as his heart constricts. It almost makes him want to reach out to you and apologize. Almost. “You should leave, y/n,” he says staring down at the floor, regretful but too stubborn to say sorry. You open your mouth to protest against him, refusing to go home without him, but only a broken noise escapes you.
You could usually stand up to Jungkook because you knew at the end of the day, you two loved each other very much. But now, you’re heart was filled with so much insecurity. You’re always bothering me. You’re so annoying. You never shut up. You had no idea he felt this way about you, so how could you be so sure he even loved you anymore? With a silent nod, you keep your eyes cast to the floor as you cross the room, swallowing the lump in your throat when you reach the door. Jungkook hasn’t moved since he told you to leave, and you cast him a sad look over your shoulder as you reach for the doorknob.
“I love you,” you choke out. But he stays silent as his eyes remain on the floor. Your vision starts to blur as you stare at his back, desperately hoping for him to say it back. But he doesn’t. And when the first tear falls from your eyes, you’re rushing out the door feeling rejected and humiliated, something you’ve never felt around Jungkook before.
Still standing in the middle of the practice room, Jungkook is absolutely torn. This is what he wanted, isn’t it? For everyone to leave him alone so he could practice? He should be happy, but he can’t ignore the ache in his chest and the guilt weighing on his shoulders knowing he hurt you. Not wanting to think about it anymore, he jumps straight back into practice to distract himself.

When Jungkook finally decides he’s practiced enough for the day, he goes home to BTS’ shared apartment. “Jungkook?” Hoseok calls out in confusion, causing all the member’s heads to turn to Jungkook as he walks in through the front door. They remember passing by you earlier in the halls when you were on your way to bring Jungkook home, so what was he doing back here? They figured that you must’ve failed in getting him to stop practicing, but that still didn’t explain why he didn’t return home to you.
“What happened?” Jin questions him, immediately knowing something was up, but Jungkook denies it. “Nothing happened,” he grumbles as he tries to walk past them, but Namjoon grabs his arm to stop him. Dropping his bag on the floor, Jungkook falls back onto the couch with a sigh knowing that nothing gets past them.
“We got in a fight,” he mumbles, remembering the hurt expression on your face or the tears that fell from your eyes when he said hurtful things to you. Before he knows it, Jungkook is breaking down in front of all his Hyungs, telling them everything that was said between you two. He knew he would get scolded, but he couldn’t bear the guilty weighing on his chest any longer.
“Jungkook,” Jimin sighs disapprovingly as shakes his head in disappointment, but he knows a scolding is not what the maknae needs right now. They could all see the guilt swimming around in his eyes and they knew he was sorry. “You know what to do,” Namjoon tells him as he stands from the couch. “Just don’t wait too long or you might regret it,” he says, patting Jungkook on the shoulder before they all walk away, giving him some time and space to think. If only Jungkook had listened.

It’s been four days since you and Jungkook fought and he still hasn’t returned home, let alone call you or text you. The house felt so cold and empty without him, and to make matters worse, you were starting to fall sick with a terrible cough. You didn’t want to be alone but you were hesitant to call Jungkook because you knew he was probably busy, and you weren’t sure if he would pick up your calls anyway.
But even though you two were upset at each other, you were still worried about his health and if he was taking proper care of himself. Despite his busy schedule as an idol, you’ve never been apart for more than a couple of days, seeing him for at least a few minutes before bed or before he leaves for work. Wanting to check up on him and make sure he’s okay, you decide to drop off some food for all the boys since they’ve been working so hard.
As you drive to the company building with the food you picked up in the back of your car, your mind wanders to Jungkook as you think about facing him again. Is he still mad at you? Would he ignore you or would he apologize? You hoped it would be the latter, but your hopes were crushed as soon as you walked into the practice room. While all the boys welcomed you warmly as per usual, Jungkook acted as if you weren’t there at all.
Because you never shut up! His words echo in your mind as you recall what happened the last time you were standing in this practice room. Swallowing the lump in your throat, you try to talk as little as possible, not wanting to annoy him or anger him anymore. You hated feeling like you were walking on thin ice with him but you didn’t know what else to do, hoping that he would eventually cool down and come to you.
You only stay for a few more minutes before you’re waving goodbye to them and stepping out of the practice room. “Wait y/n!” Jimin calls, causing you to stop and turn back around, “You’re not eating with us?” You simply shake your head and smile before you’re out the door. You would’ve loved to stay and eat with them but Jungkook clearly didn’t want you there and you didn’t want to invade on his lunch. You were content with just dropping off the food and leaving as long as you knew he would be eating well.
All the boys frown at your sudden exit. It was obvious Jungkook hasn’t talked to you yet and the fight must have been much more serious than they thought as they’ve never seen you two act so distant before. “You still haven’t talked to her?” Yoongi asks with a raised eyebrow. “I just haven’t had the time,” Jungkook lies as he shakes his head. He had many opportunities to go home and talk to you but he busied himself with work in order to avoid you.
He felt terrible for how he treated you, but it was easy to forget about it if he didn’t see you, as you were only a reminder of all the terrible things he said. But after seeing you stay silent for the whole duration of your visit, afraid to speak up because of something he said, he couldn’t ignore it anymore. He knew he had to apologize as soon as possible.

But even after his realization, it’s not until a few days later does he get a chance to go back to your shared apartment because of their packed work schedule. The apartment is dark and empty when Jungkook gets home, and he’s met with nothing but silence as he steps inside. “Y/n?” he calls out, waiting for some kind of response. He deflates slightly when you don’t answer him, but he knows he deserves it for avoiding you for almost a week.
While kicking off his shoes, he suddenly hears harsh coughing coming from the bedroom, causing his feet to move before his brain can even comprehend what’s happening. “Y/n?!” he asks, slightly panicked as he bursts into the bedroom and finds you sitting on the bed, your whole body being wracked forward with every cough that forces its way out of your throat. He rushes to your side, rubbing your back to help you through your coughing fit. As soon as you start to calm down, he hurriedly stands from the bed.
“I’ll be right back okay?” he says as he rushes out the bedroom and into the kitchen. He comes back seconds later, handing you a cup of water and telling you to drink it. He patiently watches as you sip on the water, hands clasped in his lap as he waits for you to say something, anything. But even after you bring the cup down from your lips, you remain silent, staring at the glass of water in your hands with a faraway look in your eyes.
When it was clear you weren’t going to speak up anytime soon, Jungkook breaks the silence. “Y/n?” he says quietly, causing you to look up at him. “Why didn’t you tell me you were sick?” he asks with a frown. He understood why you say anything to him about being sick, but even if you two were fighting, he didn’t want you to suffer alone and he would’ve dropped everything to come home and take care of you.
Every second that passes by, the heavier his heart becomes knowing that he was the reason for your silence. “Please say something,” he stares at you pleadingly. The guilt was becoming unbearable and he just needed to hear you say something, he just needed to know that you were okay. But when you open your mouth to say something, nothing comes out. Your eyes widen in panic as you bring a hand up to your throat. “What’s wrong?” he asks, alarmed by your reaction, “You can’t speak?” You shake your head as you ball the sheets tightly in your fists, trying your best to hold back your tears.
Internally, Jungkook was beginning to panic at your inability to speak, but he knew he had to remain calm for you. Gently urging you out of bed, he grabs a sweatshirt of his and hands it to you. “Let’s go to the hospital, okay? You’ll be okay,” he tries to reassure you, but it’s more for himself. Nodding at him, you pull the sweatshirt over your head before following him out the door.

Arriving at the hospital, you take a seat as Jungkook talks to one of the nurses at the front desk, and it’s not long before you two are brought into a room. After being asked a series of questions to which you could only nod or shake your head and having a few tests taken, the doctor steps out to retrieve your results. Jungkook can’t help but regard you guiltily as you sit in the hospital bed anxiously waiting for your results.
You had been suffering at home, alone all this time. What if he didn’t come home today? Would you have just gotten worse without anyone knowing? Shaking those thoughts from his head, he didn’t want to think of what could’ve happened had he not come home. He should have returned sooner, but now that he was here, he wasn’t going to abandon you again.
When the doctor reappears, both of your heads snap to the door as he looks at you with a solemn expression on his face. “It appears Ms. l/n’s case is worse than we imagined,” the doctor announces with a sigh. “We thought it was just a bad cough but your conditioned has worsened because you didn’t get it checked out right away which could mean,” the doctor pauses as he braces himself to tell you the bad news, “You may lose your voice permanently.”
Your whole world seems to come to a stop as those words leave the doctor’s mouth, and everything becomes hazy as he explains your treatment. No matter how hard you try to focus on his voice, his words don’t seem to reach your ears as you helplessly try to read his lips. Even then, the image of his face slowly starts to blur as the tears build up in your eyes.
“We’ll give you medication to take, and you’re not to use your voice at all for three days. After those three days, your voice should return if the medicine works properly. But if it does not,” he pauses with a dark look on his face, “Then I’m afraid there’s nothing more we can do.” You nod in understanding, trying to muster a small smile of appreciation as he walks out to give you two some privacy.
Before the door can even close behind the doctor, tears are already falling from Jungkook’s eyes as he stares at you with the most heartbroken expression on his face. He should have been there for you. That’s all he can think as you offer him a small smile telling him that it’s okay and you don’t blame him at all. But it only makes him cry harder, feeling responsible for all of this and wishing he did something sooner.
“I’m sorry, I take it back. I didn’t mean anything I said,” he cries as he takes your hands in his. “I love you,” he chokes out through his sobs as he desperately stares at you through his tears. “Please,” he begs as you try your best to hold back your tears for him. “Please say it back,” he cries as his head falls into your lap, clutching you tightly as he cries into your stomach.
A single tear escapes and drips down your cheek as he buries his face in your torso but you’re quick to wipe it away before he can see. You know he feels responsible for all this but you don’t blame him at all, and you don’t want him to blame himself either. All you can do is smile and pat his head, gently running your fingers through his hair to comfort him to the best of your ability.
Your last “I love you” echoes through Jungkook’s head as he remembers the last thing you ever said to him that night in the practice room. It absolutely crushes him to know that he didn’t say it back when he was able to because now, you can’t say it at all. Karma really was a bitch.

Jungkook is practically glued to your side during the days you spend recovering, fussing over you at every given moment. He’s taken some time off work not only to take care of you but to become better for you. The reason you got into an argument in the first place was because he was spending too much time at work and although changing now wouldn’t bring your voice back, he was determined to make it up to you in whatever ways he could.
“Are you hungry?” he asks to which you shake your head. “Thirsty then? Are you bored? Do you want to watch a movie?” he continues to fret about you. But even as you start to form a headache from shaking your head so much, you can’t help but smile fondly at him. You missed spending time at home together just enjoying each other’s company. As selfish as it sounds, it felt nice to feel like the focus of his attention for once. There wasn’t work or dance or music on his mind, just you. You knew what you were getting into when you started dating an idol, but for once, it felt like he loved you just as much as you loved him. Maybe even more.
As the days pass by, Jungkook seems to grow even more restless. Running around the house, looking for random things to do to keep him busy. But when the third day finally arrives, Jungkook does a complete one-eighty. Too afraid to find out if you truly lost your voice or not, he convinces you to wait an extra day, claiming that it’s better to give your voice an extra day to heal. You watch in amusement as Jungkook seems to be at war with himself. While he’s convinced you and himself to wait, he’s constantly asking how your throat feels and if you think it’s healed.
When you finally get him to settle in for the night, you turn off the lamp as he slides into bed next to you. “Goodnight y/n,” he whispers as he places a kiss on your forehead, “I love you.” Ever since that day in the practice room, Jungkook has regretted not saying it back to you. So he’s made an effort to tell you he loves you as often as possible, making sure you knew how he really felt about you.
You agreed to wait to appease Jungkook and because a part of you was also afraid of the possibility of you truly losing your voice. But another part of you couldn’t stand the suspense any longer. You didn’t want to see the look on Jungkook’s face if you haven’t healed but there was no point in trying to avoid the inevitable. Closing your eyes to mentally prepare yourself, you take a deep breath before you open your mouth.
“I love you too,” you say softly. Your voice was still a little scratchy, but it was better than before. The fact that you could talk at all proved that your voice was not lost and slowly but surely, it would recover. The moment those words leave your mouth, Jungkook’s whole body freezes, his muscles going stiff as your voice registers in his mind.
Whipping his head around, he stares at you with wide eyes. “D-did-,” he stutters. “Did you just?” he can’t even form a proper sentence as he feels overwhelmed with emotions when you nod. In a flash, he throws his arms around your shoulders, causing you to fall back on the pillows as he buries his face in the crook of your neck.
Your wrap your arms around his waist as he hugs you tightly, pulling you close until there’s no space between you two as he sheds tears of relief. “I-” he hiccups, “I’m so glad you’re okay.” You feel his tears soak into your shirt as you gently rub his back. “I’m so sorry,” he cries harder.
“It’s okay,” you whisper into his hair and press a kiss on the top of his head. There was so much more you wanted to say to him, but even though your voice wasn’t lost, you still had to take it easy. Cradling his head to your shoulder, you gently run your fingers through his hair to soothe him.
Pulling away from him slightly, Jungkook looks up at you with watery eyes. The tip of his nose is red and he sniffles cutely as you gently use your thumbs to wipe away the tears on his cheeks. He pulls the blankets over the both of you before wrapping his arms around your waist, tucking your head under his chin as you place your hands against his chest. It felt like a huge weight was lifted from his shoulders as he fell asleep with you in his arms knowing that when you two woke up, everything would be okay.

The morning that Jungkook returns to work for the first time since your visit to the hospital, you have to practically kick him out of the house. “Are you sure you’ll be okay?” Jungkook asks for the tenth time that morning as you walk him to the door. “Don’t worry about me, I’ll be perfectly fine!” you insist as you give him a push towards the door, “Now hurry up or else you’ll be late.” But he easily resists your shove, pulling you in for a quick hug and a peck on the lips.
Ever since you had gotten sick, Jungkook was paranoid about leaving you alone, afraid he wouldn’t be there for you if you needed him. It was especially hard for him because he had taken a lot of time off to be with you during your recovery, so it was hard for him to go back. Peeling him off of you, you laugh at his clinginess before pushing him out the door and sending him to work.
Throughout the day, you receive many text messages and calls from him, checking up on you and asking how you are. He gives you updates on all the boys, even turning on his camera and allowing them to say hi. About an hour before the time Jungkook finishes work, you start to cook dinner so it’ll be hot when he comes home.
Blasting BTS’ songs throughout the house, you sing along while you stir the pot. Not hearing the front door unlocking or the approaching footsteps, you jump when a pair of arms wrap around you from behind. You let out a gasp before you hear Jungkook chuckle behind you, nuzzling his nose into the side of your neck. “Jungkook,” you breathe out in relief. “You scared me!” you lightly scold him as you smack him on the shoulder. But it only causes his laughter to grow as he backs off to go change.
Grabbing your phone, you pause the music now that he’s home, continuing to prepare the food. Walking back into the kitchen in a pair of sweats and an oversized t-shirt, Jungkook raises an eyebrow at you. “Where’d the music go?” he asks. “I just paused it,” you answer him simply as you gesture to your phone sitting on the counter. It wasn’t that Jungkook didn’t like you playing their songs at home, but you weren’t the best singer on the planet, choosing to be considerate and spare his ears now that he was home.
“I didn’t tell you to stop,” he says, reaching for your phone on the counter and pressing play. “Keep singing please?” he asks with his big, puppy dog eyes that he knows you can’t resist. You were no professional singer but he didn’t care, he just wanted to hear your voice. “As you wish,” you give in with a sigh before proceeding to sing along loudly, not always on key and probably bothering your neighbours but you didn’t care.
“Why are you looking at me like that?” you ask sitting across the dining table from Jungkook. You had run out of things to talk about long ago but Jungkook insisted you keep talking, leading to you telling him about your day until you noticed how he was gazing at you. “Like what?” he asks. “Like... that,” you gesture to the way he’s resting his cheek on his palm as he continues to stare at you like you’re his whole world.
He shrugs nonchalantly as his eyes remain on you. “I like listening to you talk,” he admits unabashedly, causing your cheeks to heat up. Smiling at him, you continue to tell him about how you spent the whole day doing chores around the house. And even though Jungkook’s day was probably one hundred times more interesting than yours, he still listened as if you were talking about the most fascinating thing in the world because his favourite to listen to was you.

thank u sm! this means everything <3
I match you with…

jungkook!
The first time Jungkook meets you, it’s like love at first sight
Your life-of-the-party energy immediately attracts everyone in the room, including him
The other members immediately take notice of the way he looks at you with heart eyes and laughs a little too hard at your jokes (but they have to admit they are funny)
They’ll be sure to tease him about how obviously whipped he is later, but for now, they do their part to try to help him out
Making up the excuse that they have work to do, they send Jungkook winks and a few thumbs up before leaving you two alone
Jungkook is quite shy at first, his interest in you only making him more nervous
But your fun and humorous personality puts him at ease and helps the conversation flow easily
As you two talk and get to know each other better, Jungkook becomes more comfortable and confident when he realizes how friendly you are
After learning that you love sports, you become Jungkook’s go-to gym partner and the person he calls when he needs someone to help him practice for a Run BTS episode
On some of their days off, you and Jungkook play against Jimin and Taehyung in a variety of sports
On the days that he’s tired and would rather relax, you two catch up on some anime, sometimes joined by some of the other members
But the combination of Jungkook’s competitiveness, his natural athletic ability, and the chemistry between you and him is unbeatable, resulting in a whining Jimin and a pouting Taehyung when they lose yet again and have to pay for dinner
The first time Jungkook asks you to hang out, he takes you out for a karaoke night with the boys because he’s nervous and thinks you would be more comfortable in a group setting
You don’t mind at all and you have a great time with all of them, but you can’t help but wish you could also spend some alone time together
At the end of the night, Jungkook offers to drive you home, and during the ride back, you two end up blasting music and singing your hearts out
Too focused on yelling out the lyrics and the feeling of the wind blowing through your hair, you don’t realize that Jungkook’s taking the long way home to prolong the moment
Nor do you notice the way he stares and smiles at you fondly, wanting to ingrain every detail of you in his mind and remember this moment forever
When you finally reach your house, you thank him for driving you home and invite him inside
You talk more about your passion for music, and Jungkook shares how he loves music as well, but can sometimes struggle with writing songs because of the perfectionist in him
He gets a lot of inspiration from you, and you’re always the first one he’ll show his finished songs to
You two have a very playful relationship and he loves to tease and imitate you
But he can also be extremely soft and clingy, especially when he’s tired
After a long day, he’ll simply pick you up and carry you to the couch or bed and lay down with you, wrapping his arms tightly around your form and caging you in so you can’t escape, not that you would want to anyway

I match you with...

jungkook!
Similar to you, Jungkook can be shy but he can also be extroverted so you can understand each other and get along well
Your many common interests also help you become closer to the point where you’re practically inseparable
You’re often found playing video games together, drawing or painting, or even going outside to find things to take pictures of
You both have many hobbies and interests so you’re not always doing the same things
But even when you two are working independently on your own things, you work near each other in comfortable silence, simply finding comfort in each other’s presence
He’s not called the Golden Maknae for no reason, he’s naturally talented at many things
But a lot of his skills come from hard work and persistence
He’s fascinated by all your hobbies and how talented you are, and he admires you a lot for it
Jungkook loves to learn new things, especially when it’s you teaching him, and you love teaching so you two complement each other well
Oftentimes, he’ll ask you to help him with his English or other languages just for the fun of learning
To challenge himself, he’ll spontaneously ask you to only speak to him in a certain language so he can try to understand and learn the language, although it usually ends up with you two making strange gestures while trying to understand each other
But he’s a quick learner and whenever he gets things right, he stares at you with his round, doe eyes, silently asking for a kiss as a reward and who are you to refuse him?
One day, after seeing you cross-stitching, he asks you to teach him too
You two sit around the fireplace, shoulder to shoulder, and he watches you carefully as you slowly show him how to do it
It takes a while but you remain patient and once he gets the hang of it, he decides to cross-stitch you something as a present for Christmas
You try to take a peek at what he’s making but he holds it close to his chest, shooting you a glare as he tells you it’s a surprise
You pout at him but it slowly turns into a smile when you see how much effort he’s putting into making it
When he finally gives it to you, you see that it’s a little Christmas tree with a heart since he knows how much you love Christmas
He rests his cheek on his hand, staring at you expectantly
“Do you like it?” he asks as you pretend to think about it to tease him, “I worked really hard on it you know,”
Words can’t express how touched you are by his gift and instead, you practically tackle him into a hug, mumbling a hundred thank you’s into his stomach
You display it in the living room and every time you lay your eyes on it, you can’t help the small smile that forms on your face
Whenever you see it, you remember all the fond memories you have of teaching him how to cross-stitch and the look of concentration on Jungkook’s face as he made it for you
Along with the little Christmas tree, he also got the both of you matching fluffy iron man socks that you two never fail to point out and show off whenever anyone comes over
Hi!! I'm requesting a match-up if possible, I'll include my details and such down below :))
I'm 5'5, not sure how tall that is in centimeters. My personality is infp, my pronouns are she/her, I LOVEE anime and collecting manga/figures. I have short blonde hair, and blue eyes. I really enjoy painting, I LOVEEE sushi. I also love playing video games and some of my favorites are genshin impact and minecraft. I can also play piano, and reading books is my favorite past time.
Take ur time answering this and I hope ur week goes amazing <33
I match you with...
jungkook!

You two are kind of dorky together but it’s really adorable
He likes anime just like you so you two often watch together while eating or cuddling
He also collects marvel figures similarly to how you collect anime figures and manga so many of the walls in your house are covered by shelves holding all your figures and manga
Since you both enjoy painting, you two have a small art room in the house dedicated to painting
It’s your little safe space where you two can relax and destress as you paint together in comfortable silence
Jungkook sneaks into the art room when you’re busy or you’re not around to paint a picture of you
When he finally finishes, he gives it to you as a surprise
You hang both your paintings all around the house, adding a touch of your own and making it really feel like home
Additionally, there is also a gaming room in the house for your PC’s and a television for your game consoles
Since video games are a common interest between you two, they helped bring you two closer as friends and form a close bond, eventually blossoming into something more than friendship
You have a lot of precious memories of date nights in that room, playing video games together until late hours of the night or even early hours of the morning
Since you usually end up passed out in that room, you have a few comfy beanbags and a couch just big enough for the two of you to crash on if you’re too tired to go back to the bedroom
There’s also a mini-fridge filled with drinks and a small shelf lined with snacks in case you guys get hungry
Jungkook is definitely the type to build you a surprise in Minecraft and ask you out through the game
He’ll build a beautiful garden or a roller coaster and at the end, he’ll give you a flower named something along the lines of. “Go out with me?”
Sitting next to him, you turn to find him staring intensely at the screen, his face and ears burning bright red
Giggling, you tell him yes before reaching over to kiss him on the cheek
He and Jin have made sushi before during In the Soop, and he knows your love for sushi, so he’ll try and recreate it again for you
He’ll smile and get all shy when you tell him how good at is, and he’ll be sure to make it again for you whenever you want
Since he is very ambitious, he’ll also ask you to teach him how to play piano
He learns quite quickly, and you can’t help but giggle at how cute he looks with his brows furrowed in concentration as he tries to learn a children’s song
When he finally perfects it, he’ll call you over excitedly and perform it for you before flashing you the cutest bunny smile
Clapping as you smile proudly, you praise him and shower him in kisses to which he happily accepts
As proud as he is to show you what he’s learned, there’s nothing he loves more than listening to you
He’ll pull you down to sit on the piano bench beside him and lean his head on your shoulder, asking you to play something for him
And oftentimes when you two are lying in bed, he’ll lay his head on your stomach or lap and wrap his arms around your waist, asking you to read to him, and who are you to deny him when he looks up at you with his huge, doe eyes?
he makes you insecure

Climbing into bed and making yourself comfortable, you pull the blankets up to your chin before turning onto your side and grabbing your phone, the bright screen momentarily blinding you. Blinking rapidly for your eyes to adjust, you scroll to find Jungkook’s contact on your phone. Tapping on his name, you press the audio call icon, smiling softly as the adorable profile picture you had set for him takes over your whole screen.
It was a cute selfie you two had taken together with Jungkook holding up the phone and taking the picture while placing a kiss on your cheek as you smile brightly. But it’s bittersweet because the picture only reminds you of how much you miss him. Jungkook’s been so busy with work lately that you haven’t seen him for nearly a week. You didn’t want to be clingy or annoying but you had gotten so used to being with Jungkook that it felt strange to be apart for so long.
Ever since Jungkook started staying at the dorms with the other members to compensate for their super busy schedule, you’ve called him every night to make sure everything’s okay and that he’s taking care of himself. And deep inside, although you’ve never told him, you also call him because his voice never fails to comfort you and help you fall asleep without him physically by your side.
You patiently wait as the phone rings before Jungkook answers your call, instantly making you perk up. But when a heavy sigh comes from the other end of the line, you falter. “Jungkook?” you ask worriedly, “Is everything okay?” Hearing concern bleed into your voice over the phone, Jungkook runs a hand through his hair tiredly. “Yeah, everything’s fine,” he sighs through the phone, causing you to frown at the disinterest in his voice.
“How’s practice going?” you try to ask him about his day, hoping that he’ll share his worries with you so he doesn’t have to bear them all alone. “Good,” he answers simply before the line goes quiet. You remain silent, giving him a chance to expand if he wants to but he never does. You secretly hope that he’ll try to keep the conversation alive and ask you something—how your day was or what you’ve been up to—anything to show that he had the slightest interest in having a conversation with you.
You let out a small sigh of defeat when Jungkook doesn’t say anything, curling into yourself slightly as you wonder whether Jungkook really wants to be talking to you or if you’re just being a bother. “Are you sure everything’s okay? You can talk to me you know,” you try asking one more time. “Mhm,” he hums in acknowledgement. You curl into yourself more and more each time Jungkook gives you a dry response, a feeling of insecurity washing over you as you burrow deeper underneath the covers.
It was strange. Jungkook’s always been the epitome of comfort to you but talking to him now, you were suddenly feeling unsure of yourself. Discouraged by how one-sided this conversation was, you open your mouth to let Jungkook go and wish him goodnight but he beats you to it. “I’m busy, I have to go,” he mumbles into the phone, immediately hanging up the call without even giving you a chance to say goodbye to him, let alone say goodbye to you.
You pull the phone away from your ear in disbelief, Jungkook’s cute profile picture staring back at you almost mockingly as it reminds you of the times you had that are now gone. You can’t help but feel hurt. Jungkook’s never treated you so coldly before but you give him the benefit of the doubt, hoping that he really was just busy.
You: goodnight
You: i love u <3
You send him a couple of texts since you didn’t get the chance to say goodbye to him over the phone and you’re about to turn your phone off when three dots appear on your screen, signalling that Jungkook was typing. You settle back into your pillow, patiently waiting for his message before going to bed.
Kookie <3: plz stop calling every night
Kookie <3: i don’t have time to text and call you every single day
You read Jungkook’s message over and over again, your vision starting to blur with tears as you pray for a “jk” or something else to pop up. But it never comes and after staring at his message for nearly five minutes, you give up on any hope that this is just some prank. With tears in your eyes, you reply with a simple “ok” before turning your phone off and placing it on the bedside table.
Turning to face Jungkook’s empty side of the bed, you shut your eyes tightly to hold back your tears, trying to forget about all the events of the night and fall asleep. because you have an early morning tomorrow Please stop calling. I don’t have time. But Jungkook’s words flash behind your eyelids, forcing you to open them and focus on something else in the room to make them disappear. Gripping the blankets tightly in your fists, you let out little sobs as your tears soak into your pillow.

The next morning when Jungkook wakes up, the first thing he does is reach for his phone since it’s become routine for him to check for your good morning texts. Squinting at his lock screen, still half-asleep, his brows furrow in confusion when he doesn’t find any notifications from you wishing that he has a good day and to take care of himself. Slowly starting to wake up, Jungkook recalls your conversation last night, or rather lack of, and how cold he was to you.
He curses under his breath, sitting up and unlocking his phone to check your messages and make sure it wasn’t just some nightmare. But the proof is right in front of his eyes as he reads over the message he sent you last night. Falling back onto his pillow, Jungkook lets out a groan as he throws his arm over his eyes. Regret immediately washes over him and he wants nothing more than to drive home and apologize to you.
He shouldn’t have said that to you. He didn’t mean it. He was just feeling so overwhelmed with work lately to the point where answering your texts and calls felt like a chore. But now that he was rested and able to think straight, it registers in his mind just how much he must’ve hurt you. But his schedule’s packed and he knows he won’t be able to return home to you in at least a week.
Kookie <3: im sorry
After sending you a quick apology, Jungkook throws the covers off himself, begrudgingly getting out of bed to get ready for the day.
Slowly coming to consciousness, you let out a groan as you bury your face in your pillow, not having the energy or the motivation to get out of bed. Listening to Jungkook’s voice before bed always helped you relax and soothe all your worries. But after last night, you felt more anxious than ever and didn’t fall asleep until around 3 am, resulting in you waking up feeling extremely groggy and fatigued.
Turning onto your side and picking up your phone, a message from Jungkook immediately catches your attention. Tapping on the notification, you stare at his apology, contemplating sending him a message. You type out a short but sweet message to wish him good morning, hovering your thumb over the send button but you’re unsure whether you should send it or not.
But when your eyes move up to your messages from last night, the answer is clear as day as you delete the message you typed out before putting your phone back on the nightstand. Rolling onto your back, you let out a sigh as you stare at the ceiling. Even though he apologized, you can’t help but hesitate every time you think about sending Jungkook a message, afraid you might be bothering him.
Jungkook knows his short apology isn’t enough. Of course it isn’t, insecurities can’t be washed away just like that. He isn’t able to apologize to you properly because of how busy his schedule is but when he doesn’t receive a single text or call from you for the next 3 days, Jungkook can’t take it anymore. And after talking to the company about how he was feeling so overwhelmed that answering his loved ones’ texts and calls felt like a chore, they were quick to understand and give them a break.
Leaving the company building, Jungkook decides to apologize to you and surprise you, picking up some takeout from your favourite restaurant and your favourite flowers on the way home. Entering the apartment, Jungkook sees your shoes and keys are still gone, meaning you’re still at work. He smiles, knowing he has time to prepare everything for you. He gets to work, setting the table nicely and arranging the flowers nicely in a vase.
Your eyebrows furrow in confusion when you walk in through the front door to find the lights on. You haven’t been able to get a goodnight’s sleep ever since the last time you talked to Jungkook so you assume that you just forgot to turn the lights off in your exhausted state when Jungkook suddenly pops his head around the corner. He quickly approaches you and pulls you into his arms. “You’re home,” he whispers into your hair, cradling your head to his chest.
You bring your arms up to wrap around his waist, clutching the fabric of his shirt in your fists. “I’m sorry,” he apologizes sincerely, “I was just feeling so stressed and overwhelmed but I promise I didn’t mean anything I said. I always look forward to your good morning texts and your phone calls at night. These past few days have been hell for me.” When he finally pulls away, he takes a closer look at you, quickly noticing the dark circles under your eyes and the exhausted look on your face. “You look tired,” he observed out loud, “Have you not been sleeping well?”
You shrug your shoulders at him, avoiding eye contact as you move your gaze to the floor. No matter how much he hurt you, you didn’t have the heart to tell him the reason you couldn’t sleep was because of him. But he can see right through you, blaming himself for saying harsh things to you, for being away from you when you needed him. “It’s because of me, isn’t it?” he asks sadly, looking at you with big, guilty eyes. He hates the fact that he’s the reason you haven’t been well when it was his job to make sure you’re well taken care of.
He pulls you back into a hug, whispering over and over again, “I’m sorry. I’m so sorry.” You bring a hand up, lightly patting him on the back to reassure him. “It’s okay, Jungkook. I know you’re busy, you’re doing your best,” you try to reassure him but he frowns down at you, shaking his head stubbornly. He guides you to the table, picking up some food with a fork before holding it out to you. “Jungkook you don’t have to-” you try to protest but he gives you a look that says he won’t let you raise a finger.
Giving in with a sigh, you open your mouth, allowing him to spoon-feed you but not without making sure he’s feeding himself as well. Jungkook keeps feeding you until you physically can’t eat another bite and you feel like you’re going to explode because of how full you are. He already failed to make sure you were well-rested and he’d be damned if he failed to make sure you were eating well too.
Once you two finish eating, Jungkook rushes to throw all the takeout containers into the garbage before coming back to you. He picks you up bridal style, carrying you to your shared bedroom and gently seating you on the bed. “I’ll run a bath for you. Wait here,” he tells you as he turns to enter the bathroom but you reach out to grasp onto the fabric of his sleeve, stopping his movements. He turns around at your hold, looking at you with questioning eyes. “
It’s okay, Jungkook, I know you’re tired too. Let’s just go to sleep,” you tell him with a soft smile. His bottom lip juts out as he pouts at you, his desire to make it up to you clear in his eyes. “Please?” you ask softly, “I just want to be with you right now.” Jungkook can’t deny you when you ask him so nicely, immediately giving in as you scoot over on the bed, creating room for him as he climbs into bed beside you.
He pulls you into his arms, engulfing you in his warmth and washing away all your worries. Laying your head on his chest, your eyelids start to grow heavy as you listen to his steady heartbeat. “Jungkook?” you mumble drowsily, on the verge of falling asleep. “Hmm?” he hums in acknowledgement, the vibration rumbling through his chest. “Can you sing to me, please?” you request softly as you mindlessly trace the tattoos on his skin.
Jungkook immediately agrees, beginning to sing softly to you. His angelic voice fills the bedroom as he combs his fingers through your hair, lulling you to sleep. When he finishes the song, he looks down to find your cheek squished against his chest, fast asleep. He smiles softly at your sleeping face, placing a kiss on your forehead before cuddling you closer to his chest, comforted by the fact that you were now in his arms.

Balancing a tray of food in one hand, Jungkook knocks on the door to your home office door with his other, twisting the door handle when he receives a muffled, “come in.” As you turn around in your office chair to face him, Jungkook flashes you his cute bunny smile as he walks over to you, placing the tray on your desk.
You let out a groan as you rub your temples, closing your eyes to try and dispel the pain. “What’s wrong?” Jungkook asks, concerned as he leans on your desk. “I have a headache,” you mumble with a slight pout on your lips. Jungkook chuckles at your adorable expression, cooing at you as he leans down to place a kiss on your forehead.
“Maybe that’s because you haven’t taken a break in hours,” he suggests as he nudges the tray closer to you. Rubbing at your eyes that have become irritated from staring at your bright computer screen, you blink rapidly to clear your vision before scanning over the contents of the tray Jungkook brought, finding an array of your favourite snacks, some fruit that has been cut up into hearts and a glass of water.
Picking up a piece of fruit, you pop it into your mouth, smiling as you imagine Jungkook cutting fruits into hearts in your kitchen. Picking up another piece of fruit, you hold it up for Jungkook. He bends down, gladly eating it from your hand before standing back up. “Come to bed soon, alright?” he reminds you of the time since he knows you tend to get caught up in your work.
You nod, eyes already back on your screen as you get back to work. You thank Jungkook for the snacks as he places one last kiss on your head before exiting your office, softly closing the door behind him. Content knowing you would at least eat the snacks he brought you, Jungkook enters your shared bedroom, flopping on the bed and going on his phone as he waits for you to come to bed.
It had been a long and hard few weeks at work but you finally had a day off tomorrow and for once, Jungkook’s day off lined up with yours. You two planned to go out together and just enjoy a day to yourselves. You didn’t want to have to worry about work at all while you were with Jungkook so you wanted to finish everything the night before.
Yawning for the seventh time in the past hour, Jungkook closes the app he was scrolling through, glancing at the time displayed at the top of his phone. Reading 12:01 am, Jungkook puts his phone down on the nightstand before letting out a sigh as he stands from the bed, making his way back to your office thinking you must’ve fallen asleep at your desk again.
But when he reenters your office, you’re still awake sitting in front of your desk, typing away on your computer. “Y/n?” Jungkook calls out to you, “Aren’t you coming to bed soon?” You simply hum in acknowledgement, not giving him an answer as your eyes remain glued to your screen. Slightly irked by your ignorant behaviour and the fact that he’s been waiting nearly two hours for you to come to bed, Jungkook pinches the bridge of his nose as he lets out a sigh.
“Y/n,” he calls again, his patience quickly thinning out, “It’s past midnight. You’ve worked enough for today.” But you continue to ignore him, acting as if he’s not even there. “Are you even listening to me?” Jungkook asks, the irritation now clear in his voice. Frustratedly slamming a hand on your desk, you snap coldly, “What do you want?”
“Well if you’ve been listening to anything I’ve been saying you would know that it’s already past midnight and you should come to bed!” he raises his voice slightly. With the pounding of your head more intense due to lack of sleep, you’re equally as irritated, if not more. “Well maybe now you see how it feels when you don’t listen to me when you’re overworking yourself,” the words fall out of your mouth before you can think, regret immediately washing over you.
Memories of all you’re fights and arguments about Jungkook overworking himself flood your mind. It was inevitable with his career and although you two always worked through it, the guilt never left Jungkook. He had opened up to you about his fears and insecurities: that it would all become too much for you and he wouldn’t be able to give you what you deserved. But you always reassured him that he was enough, that you would always support and take care of him and you two could work through anything together.
So when you use one of his greatest insecurities against him, Jungkook can’t help but feel betrayed. Full of guilt and regret, you remain frozen facing your computer. After a few tense moments, you hear shuffling behind you before you hear the sound of your office door being shut, followed by Jungkook’s retreating footsteps. Letting out a groan, your head falls into your hands as you realize how badly you just fucked up.
The situation did nothing to aid your pounding headache or your irritable state, only adding to the frustration you feel. You probably should have listened the first time Jungkook told you to take it easy. And you most definitely should not have said what you said to him. But you weren’t thinking straight, your mind only focused on finishing so that you wouldn’t have to worry about work during your break.
Shutting off your computer, you let out a sigh before turning off the lights and getting ready to turn in for the night. When you enter the bedroom, you find Jungkook already asleep with his back turned to you. And if he is awake, he doesn’t acknowledge you so you decide to give him some space, leaning down to press a kiss to his forehead before going into the bathroom for your nightly routine.
Determined to make it up to him, you set an alarm for early tomorrow morning before shutting your phone off and falling asleep with Jungkook’s back turned to you.

Waking up the next morning, you let out a quiet groan as you regret making yourself wake up early on a day off. In hindsight, it wasn’t that early. It was around the normal time you both would wake up for work but when you don’t have places to be, it feels pretty damn early.
But you don’t want this fight to ruin your day together so you force yourself out of bed, padding out of the bedroom and into the kitchen. You want to start cooking so that by the time Jungkook wakes up, it’ll all be ready. Pulling out all the ingredients and equipment you need, you start preparing a big breakfast consisting of all Jungkook’s favourite foods.
But just as you’re about to crack some eggs into a pan, you hear the bedroom door open, followed by the sound of Jungkook’s approaching footsteps. Your brows furrow in confusion since Jungkook usually sleeps in on days that he doesn’t have work. “Jungkook?” you call out in confusion, looking over your shoulder to find him already dressed for work.
He ignores you as he crosses the room and even though you know he’s giving you the silent treatment, you ask anyway, “Where are you going?” He glances at you through the corner of his eye when he reaches the front door. And even though he’s still upset with you, he doesn’t want to worry you. “Work,” he answers shortly as he grabs his coat from the coat rack. “But we’re not supposed to work today,” you remind him, hoping that Jungkook just forgot.
You know that Jungkook heard you but he remains silent as he puts his coat on and it’s then that you realize he didn’t forget but he simply didn’t want to be with you today. Your vision starts to blur with tears as you watch him slip his shoes on but just as he stands back up, you look away so he can’t see your watery eyes or your trembling lips. Jungkook wills himself not to look at you but when he hears you sniffle, his head whips in your direction. He can’t see your face but he can tell you’re crying by the way your shoulders shake.
He’s aching to pull you into his arms and whisper apologies and comforting words into your ears, but Jungkook ignores the way his heart calls out for you and the way his heart cracks as he walks out the door knowing he’s leaving you alone.
Absolutely crushed that you would no longer be able to spend your day with Jungkook like you planned, you half-heartedly finish cooking breakfast. Dejectedly sitting alone at the table, you try to eat a few bites but your appetite is lost. Scraping your unfinished food into the bin, you pack the rest into the fridge before spending the rest of the afternoon moping around. Familiar with his usual work hours, you know he won’t be home for lunch, but you hold onto the small flame of hope in your heart that you’ll at least be able to have dinner together.
But after spending more than three hours preparing dinner and waiting another hour more for Jungkook, you start to get worried. He’s usually home by this time but he hasn’t texted or called to let you know he’ll be out late. And when he doesn’t answer any of your texts or calls, you call one of the other members, hoping they know where he is and if he’s okay.
Scrolling to find Jimin’s number, you press the phone icon. “Hey, what’s up?” he picks up on the second ring. “Hey Jimin, is Jungkook there?” you ask. “Oh yeah, we just started eating dinner. Do you want to talk to him? Here, give me a second,” you hear shuffling as he moves to hand the phone to Jungkook, causing you to start panicking. “No!” you exclaim into the phone a bit too eagerly.
Clearing your throat, you tell Jimin that it’s not necessary but he’s already suspicious. “Is everything okay? Why didn’t you come tonight?” Jimin asks, finding it strange that you didn’t join them for dinner like you usually would. Your heart cracks a little at Jimin’s question. You didn’t know they were going out for dinner since Jungkook hadn’t told you, let alone invited you to join them. “I just haven’t been feeling well,” you lie, ignoring the tightness in your chest.
“Oh no, do you want Jin or Yoongi Hyung to make you some soup?” Jimin offers, worry and concern lacing his voice. “Oh, no it’s alright,” you politely decline, not wanting them to worry. “Are you sure? Do you need one of us to come over? Jungkook shouldn’t be leaving you alone when you’re sick,” he grumbles into the phone, ready to give the maknae a scolding once he hangs up the phone.
After reassuring Jimin that everything was fine and you were okay on your own, he finally lets you hang up the call only after making you promise to call if you needed anything. Hanging up the phone, you stare at the dining table with a heavy heart. Not even having the energy or motivation to pack it up, you simply lay your head on the table as you let your tears fall freely.
“Who was that?” Hoseok asks once Jimin puts his phone back in his pocket. “Y/n,” Jimin answers, causing Jungkook’s eyes to widen as they flick over to his Hyung. Jimin had a feeling that the reason you didn’t come wasn’t because you were unwell. Jungkook would never have left you alone if he knew you were sick, and the fact that you were calling to ask if Jungkook was there told Jimin that Jungkook must not have told you.
All the members thought it was a bit strange that you didn’t accompany Jungkook today, and the way he stiffens up at the mention of your name is a telltale sign that something is wrong. Narrowing his eyes at the maknae and ready to scold him, Jimin’s gaze softens when he sees the guilt and sadness in Jungkook’s eyes. “Did something happen between you two?” Namjoon asks.
After confessing and receiving a lengthy scolding as well as some advice, Jungkook leaves dinner feeling slightly lighter. It’s nearly midnight by the time he gets home, which is why it surprises him when the lights are still on as he walks through the front door. “Y/n?” he calls out, confused because you’re nowhere in sight. Placing his bag down, he walks further into the house, stopping when he finds you asleep on the dining table.
Guilt washes over him as he realizes he kept you waiting and failed to show up at all. Kneeling next to your chair, Jungkook gently pushes your hair out of your face, tucking it behind your ear. His chest pains with guilt when he sees the tear streaks on your cheeks. Carrying you to bed and tucking you in, Jungkook places a soft kiss on your forehead, wishing you goodnight and promising to make it up to you.
He knows it’s late and a very inconsiderate time to call anyone but he doesn’t let that stop him. Scrolling to find your boss’ number, he presses the call button with no hesitation, bringing the phone up to his ear and waiting patiently. “Hello?” Your boss, Mrs. Kim picks up on the third ring, confused as to why anyone would be calling at this time.
“Hi Mrs. Kim, this is Jungkook, y/n’s boyfriend,” Jungkook speaks into the phone. “How can I help you Jungkook?” Mrs. Kim asks, still not fully understanding why he was calling at this time. After charming his way into your boss’ heart, Jungkook hangs up the call, happy that his plan is coming along.
It was actually much easier than he thought. Mrs. Kim knows how hardworking you are and was more than happy to give you another day off, telling Jungkook to make sure you rest well. Tiptoeing his way back into the bedroom, he finds your phone on the bedside table, turning off your alarm before climbing into bed beside you.

Groaning at the bright sunlight shining down on your face, you turn away from the sun, burying your face in Jungkook’s pillow. It takes your brain a few moments to realize that the sun is never usually this bright early in the morning. Scrambling for your phone, you start to panic when you realize that you slept in. Had you forgotten to turn your alarm on?
Tangled up in the blankets, you nearly trip and fall as you climb out of bed, stumbling a few steps before you reach the door. Yanking it open, you run face-first into Jungkook’s chest but he places an arm around your shoulders to steady you. Absorbing the impact, Jungkook almost drops the tray he’s holding, barely balancing it in the palm of his other hand.
He lets out a breath of relief as you stare up at him in confusion, as he should be long gone for work by now. Chuckling at your frazzled and confused state, he leads you back into the bedroom. “I’m late Jungkook!” You try to resist him. “I called in for you,” he explains shortly. You’re confused as to why Jungkook called in for you and why he’s still here but you let him guide you back to the bed with no complaints.
While you situate yourself against the headboard, Jungkook places the tray on the bedside table before settling next to you and pulling you into his lap, your back against his chest. Resting his chin on your shoulder, he mumbles into the crook of your neck, “I’m sorry.” You place your arms over his which are wrapped tightly around your waist, leaning into his embrace.
“I’m sorry too. You know I didn’t mean it, right? I love taking care of you, it just hurts me to see you overworking yourself,” you tell him as your voice starts to waver and your eyes start to water. “I know, I know,” he gently hushes you as he comfortingly rubs his thumbs over your sides, “It hurts me too when you overwork yourself.” You will your tears not to fall as you apologize for both snapping at him and worrying him.
Pulling away from your neck, he tells you, “Don’t cry, okay? I forgive you.” You nod but you can’t help the stray tear that trails down your cheek. Gently wiping it away, Jungkook simply holds you in his arms for a moment. You forgive each other easily as you both understand where the other is coming from and you love each other too much to stay mad for long. Jungkook gives you a comforting smile before he reaches for the tray on the bedside table and places it on your lap. “I was able to get today off and your boss gave you today off as well. We can spend the whole day together like we planned,” he informs you.
“Why didn’t you wake me up? We’ve already lost half the day and we could’ve made breakfast together,” you pout at him. “Let me spoil you sometimes,” he says as he picks up a piece of fruit from the tray and feeds it to you. Even though this was his way of apologizing to you, you felt apologetic and wanted to make it up to him as well.
Frowning at him as you chew, you swallow before stubbornly telling him, “I’m making lunch then.” Playfully rolling his eyes at your stubbornness, he nods in agreement knowing that you won’t take “no” for an answer. “Fine, but we’re making dinner together. I miss cooking with you,” he says as he places a kiss on your temple.
Even though you two originally planned to go out for your day off together, it was the little moments like cooking together or feeding each other breakfast in bed that you lived for.

! Toxic relationship,Obsessiveness, Possessiveness, and aggressively loving Jungkook
It took place during a romantic meal with candles. Naturally supported by jungkook, your covert sweetheart. The seductive thrill of secrecy quickly started to fade. And you both uncomfortably aware of it. -
" Jungkook. "
He may be so childish at times, "No. "I hate it when you sound like that," He declares with a cute-pout.
You scoffed. "Well, this is not going away." You do something you'll soon regret when you finally reach across the little coffee table to meet eyes. Your boyfriend's bulging red eyes made your heart swell as you said, "Look at -." Is this why it's so dark in here? "..
You signed, planting a small peck to his forehead. " We need to talk about it. "
Your love is disintegrating right before your eyes. The last thing jungkook needs is to be in a relationship given the international rumors, his separation, the threats, the stress, and his work. He hardly ever has time to take a shower.. -
" I'm doing this for - "
"My own good—what a load of bullshit." He struck the table as he got up and walked away.He patted his pockets.
You stared at him at first, unable to speak. "Bullshit! You're only kidding yourself if you believe this will work." As you were tidying up jungkook's mess, you spoke the truth. "You don't even have time for yourself. not to mention me.
"You haven't even tried, you-! The fuck!" A white pack of cigarettes fell from Jungkook's jacket's pockets after a strong shake. "A lot of idols wed regular folks. Why can't we be like them?" As he walked to the porch to smoke, he yelled angrily.
When did he start smoking? As hot as he looks you couldn't help but worry . " because you receiving death threats when we hadn’t even went public about any of thing.." You can't find the words to express the feeling in your heart. "Just think for once. "
He chuckled. " I'm not worried about threats, sweetheart., " he promised; releasing smoke through his nose.
It's tough to believe a hard headed man-like him can walk this earth. " Are you even listening to me?! "
" I guess I have to love you harder than if the problem is you want more attention." The alcohol must finally be getting to him, he blew his pull before pulling you in close. "Whatever my baby want. She gets.."Kook snaked behind you; trapping you in his arms.
Your attempt to ignore him as he lapped up the vulnerable region between your ear and neck backfired as you rolled your eyes. He nearly won, but you changed your mind. You pushed him away and said, "This isn't a negotiation; kook," as you made your way to the entrance. "We are done."
The brute idol clutched you back by your plump waist as you dashed to the door with your heels clicking. Jungkook didn't take long to push his hands up your dress and stick his tongue down your throat.
The entire evening was hazy. As jungkook threw you over his shoulder, the last flashing memory was of the entrance door.
Next morning
Due to Jungkook's absence, you welcomed the sun alone.
While you slept off your tiredness, a series of messages informed you of what was occurring. He was laughing and grinning while you were out only a few hours before, he had left your poor soul with bite marks, handprints, and among other things.
Sleeping with your supposed ex is not how you want to start your Monday.
