I hope this means we’ll slowly start going through the other 3 yaksha, I’d love to have all of them in my teapot.

Which side note about Menogias and lantern rite anyone else notice that since his debut they bring him up every lantern rite and it seems to be the yaksha they talk about the most? Sure Bosacius was the focus of the perilous trial quest but ever since they talk about Menogias the most (and Menogias was the first name Bosacius said in that cutscene). Like there was:

Just how much they’re featuring that outfit?? Like okay I know it’s bc of the museum collab but why use his outfit from lantern rite last year and not his usual archon one with the hood?

Edit to add: Hi to add to this it is day 2 of lantern rites story and cloud retainer JUST BROUGHT HIM UP. She told a kinda funny story about him and Bonanus which kinda hurts bc..they ended up killing each other

Plus it’s the year of the dragon not the year of the monkey so (since liyue thinks hes dead) wouldn’t a rex lapis lantern rite thing made more sense? Or some other nameless dragon adeptus? Hoyo clearly has favorites and honest to god if that theory wasn’t disproved my little “capitano is Menogias” alarm bells would be SCREAMING. We’re getting capitano in natlan this year and Menogias just so happens to be the featured lantern in lantern rite??? If only it wasn’t disproved </3
