All love and admiration

That’s me about Jimin…
He is… this

And this…
Hard to try to find words… you just can stop looking at him… hipnoticed
Well maybe he is a mystery only partially solved…
We need to seeeee more of him, please 🙏🏽
The man right now stronger than ever…
Getting stronger literally … look at that back 😙

So elegant and mature… the two words that describe what I admire the most from an artist craft… even if it’s a chaotic form of art there is an elegant chaotic way to show everything ( hope you understand me )

So gentle… he was checking everything and everyone while performing…
I would give you 100000000 guitars and all the arenas of the word to just keep on performing

Ohh Jimin don’t hide away to far, please 🙏🏽

Ok?

Ok!!
And I didn’t say anything about young blood Kooki. He performed yesterday and wasn’t too happy with his “Burn it” performance( He said it on his 7777777777 Weverse live this week) … ohh Kooki you are amazing anyway… generous and honest Kooki, don’t go away to…

What will happen tomorrow??????
RM…and blond/rapper/V????????
Jimin… I miss jikook

I miss seeing them in the same place, without masks and so… but while we have lots of content to enjoy and appreciate them, let’s start:
Ok first this man with this haircut with his kind soul promoting his future first album…

Golden… for the singer, no self credits but all his voice to enjoy? Ok… it’s a bit weird for me, but I’m in!

Then… wait a second how can V dance Slow Dancing in that amazing and silky way? His dance is fluid, liquid and somewhat sexy, I loved it, I am an absolute fan of the movements and styles of Jimin, Jungkook and Jhope in that order, but this blond V that we had recently… 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

And my main love, Jiminaahhhhhhhhhhh

The beauty in all magazines covers

Let’s just see this video one more time..

Ok
I just want to say that I would love to buy 10000 black shirts for him to wear during PJM2 promotion… 😬😁😁 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽

Don’t get mad at me, please 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 one more album before enlistment ?

Ok? Thankyouu
I’m happy to see him, but I’m starting to miss him already…
On last screenshot, just to say see you soon to all of you… enjoy life.

FACE, LETTER, & CLOSER THAN THIS
Disclaimer: The following post is full of my own opinions and interpretations. I do not share this with the intent to convince anyone else that this meaning upholds for all. My interpretations are also limited to English and that is an important distinction to make when accessing art from another language and culture. There are absolutely intentions and meanings that won't translate. Art is beautifully subjective, and I hope you all find your own reasons to love Jimin's music.

This is quite a lengthy post. Thank you to anyone who reads. I'd love to hear your thoughts as well, so don't feel shy to share! 💜
So FACE has been out for nearly a year, why am I making this post now? Honestly, it's all because of Closer Than This and the few nuggets we can glean from the music video. The very first clip of the mv is of Jimin's team discussing the lyrics and then Jimin's recording session. Honestly, I was quite surprised CTT was written at the same time as all of the FACE songs.
So the question then rises: Why wasn't CTT included in FACE? The answer I've arrived at is because CTT is not part of the journey Jimin was describing with FACE. More on CTT below but first, we need to revisit FACE:
TIMELINE
(US dates - I have to do too much timezone manipulation in my job, I'm not spending the time here):
30 DEC 2018 : Promise Release on SoundCloud
21 FEB 2023 : FACE announcement
16 MAR 2023 : Set Me Free pt.2 Release
23 MAR 2023 : FACE Release
22 DEC 2023 : Closer Than This Release
And here's the FACE schedule:

MOTTO-THEME-GUIDE

These phrases are ALL OVER the FACE project! They're in the digital media that was released, on pretty much every side of the physical albums, on the back of the photocards and postcards... They're pretty much on everything official connected to FACE. They're not just fluff included to fill up space; these words have MEANING in this project. I've been using these phrases as guide posts to help me interpret some of the meanings behind FACE recently, and I would encourage anyone interested in Jimin's deeper message to do the same. I've highlighted my references below.
Circles of Resonance Reflection of vulnerable minds and unexposed wounds. An echo, tremor and small movement to reach you. Face of facing the deepest part of inner-self. Face, the reflection of myself in an unfamiliar appearance. Waves originated from the deepest invisible inner world, pass through the face on the surface and reach others to resonate while transmitting the inner voice. Waves spread beautifully, finding its own flow despite wounds and distortions from a smallest scratch. The face of unwavering effort despite repeated falls and pain.
When asked what the album was about, Jimin freely shares that it relates to the events during the pandemic...and then the conversation usually moves on without any deeper discussion. This interview is probably the most verbose Jimin was any time he described the meaning behind FACE. If you haven't watched it recently, I highly recommend it.
We know that Jimin rarely shares the problems he's having whilst he's going through them (with us at least). He always waits until after he's moved on so that he can tell us not to worry, that it's in the past. (This concept comes up again in this post so keep it in mind.)
The distinction that I think is important to make is that, yes, FACE is about the pandemic, but it's not a straightforward diary of events. It's about how those events affected him. How the waves caused by the pandemic RESONATE, ECHO, and TREMOR through him - effecting the UNEXPOSED WOUNDS. Jimin found something in himself through this experience and had no choice but to FACE it. There were no distractions anymore, no pushing it to the side to deal with later. And he was able to share that journey with us in such a tragically beautiful way.
THE TRACKS
I made the below gifs for each track but I think they look best as a set without the tags so you can get the full effect of the differing ripples. Check out this post to see what I mean. ☺️
FACE-OFF

I know everyone likes to meme about Face-Off and trying to find who hurt Jimin to make them pay...but I really don't associate Face-Off with an external person. You can betray yourself in much worse ways than anyone else can because you know exactly all of your own weaknesses. You know exactly what pretty lies to tell yourself. And honestly, the source of the event doesn't really matter in the context of FACE. I view Face-Off as the initial incident. The SMALLEST SCRATCH that pushes the waves to spread.
There's also a lovely bit of foreshadowing with the lyric "Like crazy, everyone shout out, yeah yeah". CIRCLES OF RESONANCE. Not singular, multiple; we are in for a bumpy ride.
INTERLUDE : DIVE

I admit, I only listen to this track when I'm doing a full album listen. I love instrumental tracks but this isn't instrumental to me, it's sound effects. And I just personally have a sensory issue that comes out to play here BUT it's important to include in our discussion so don't skip it when you're trying to delve into the meanings!
The message I glean here is just how pervasive the issue is becoming. Jimin can be going about his life, trying to disregard it but the UNEXPOSED WOUNDS are there lurking underneath it all.
The pretty music overlaying the track may sound like glitz and glam, but this is just the beginning of the WAVES SPREADING BEAUTIFULLY, FINDING ITS OWN FLOW DESPITE WOUNDS AND DISTORTIONS...
LIKE CRAZY

I've been promising a post on Like Crazy for ages and this may be the closest I get to it. Let me know if any of you are interested in a more in-depth discussion on how the movie and the song work together. My short summary for both is this: there are moments when you willfully take actions that you KNOW are against your best interest. Not in a fleeting eats-too-many-cookies way. In a I-know-putting-my-hand-on-the-stove-and-turning-it-on-will-burn-me way.
I hope none of you experience this to such a damning extent. I have. Despite being the kind of person who I thought would never venture down such a path. It's not something I wish upon anyone. This is the WAVES ORIGINATED FROM THE DEEPEST INVISIBLE INNER WORLD, PASS THROUGH THE FACE ON THE SURFACE...
ALONE

Have you ever repeated a word enough that it starts to sound bizzare? What if you got the point where you thought the weird sound was reality? And then you were confronted with the truth. This song is that point. Where you are left with the sober understanding of yourself. FACE, THE REFLECTION OF MYSELF IN AN UNFAMILIAR APPEARANCE.
SET ME FREE pt.2

The rise! Jimin was able to find a way to push himself beyond the betrayal of himself. It absolutely wasn't easy and there were setbacks, but this is a clear call to any who find themselves in similar circumstances: you CAN overcome. THE FACE OF UNWAVERING EFFORT DESPITE REPEATED FALLS AND PAIN.
Remember when I said earlier that Jimin only tells us about his struggle once it's over? I honestly believe that's why SMF was the pre-release track. He needed us to know that there was a happy ending before he would tell us about the pain he went through.
LIKE CRAZY (English Version)

As I mentioned my sensory issue above, I cannot talk about Like Crazy without mentioning the whispered English at the beginning/end. I HATE it sooooo much! It just twigs my brain in all the wrong ways. It's a huge part of why it took me a long time to appreciate LC. As much as I hate it though, it's absolutely necessary for the interpretation of LC. It firmly gives us a landmark into where and how the song relates to the movie. It also creates a bookend structure that gives the original and the English versions their own rightful places to exist.
LETTER
My very first post on this blog was a simple comparison of the lyrics in Like Crazy from the translation on the original music video to the english version. There is absolutely a difference here and I think it's a very important distinction that there are two versions of Like Crazy in the album. One is AN ECHO, TREMOR AND SMALL MOVEMENT TO REACH YOU. This phrase is for us, the audience. None of the other phrases use "you". Even though Jimin has set himself free, there are still CIRCLES RESONATING.

If you have seen any of my posts prior to this, you likely know how obsessed with Letter I am. I have the hardest time naming anything as a favorite (even favorite colour, there's just sooo many good uses of different colors) so I hope you understand how revolutionary it is for me to unequivocally state that Letter is my favorite song. Like ever. For all of my (cough*decades*cough) of music-listening, opinion-having life. Letter is THE ONE. Letter is it. I probably have stronger feelings about Letter than any relationship I've been in (but I'm aspec so take that with a grain of salt...)
I listen to Letter A LOT (sometimes on literal repeat - there's a video on YouTube that loops it for over an hour and I've definitely contributed several of those listens) and while working on this post, I would still get emotional hearing it at the end of FACE. This song is the absolute definition of the beauty that can only truly be understood after utter tragedy.
To me, Letter is about how this experience has effected Jimin to the point where there's a noticeable difference in the way he interacts with and appreciates those he loves, in all interpretations of the word love. WAVES...REACH OTHERS TO RESONATE WHILE TRANSMITTING THE INNER VOICE.
I am not using this post to debate the merits of exactly who Letter is for: a significant other, ARMY, or Jimin himself. Frankly, I don't think it matters to the meaning of the song. Use whatever flavour most appeals to you. That's the real genius and gift of Jimin's music imo. He creates it in such a way that we can fold it around our own personal stories and needs.
WHAT WAS THIS POST ABOUT AGAIN?

Right, so rewind to the release of Closer Than This. I'd had very little sleep as I traveled for the holidays and was absolutely feeling the timezone difference. But I stayed up to hear Jimin's new song. I listened to it first in Spotify and thought it sounded like a beautiful, happy, well-produced gift of a song - perfect for the end of the year and to comfort us with his departure for military service. Then I watched the mv to read the subtitles... Y'all, I absolutely was NOT expecting to see clips from the time covered in Jimin's Production Diary! I wouldn't have been surprised if it was the same team that Jimin worked with before but at a later time - he trusts them artisically after all. BUT these clips were the same angles and same conversations we saw from the development of FACE.
So I started my due diligence. Is it possible CTT was supposed to be part of FACE but they held it specifically to release when it did? I listened to FACE multiple times trying to insert CTT into the narrative. And it just doesn't fit this journey...at all. Like not in the slightest. I thought maybe immediately after Letter or even replacing Letter but no. I even tried inserting Promise as a bridge and it just doesn't work in the context of FACE.
CTT has a pretty literal storytelling narrative. It describes the journey WE have been on with Jimin. It lists his promises to US going forward. The music video being an album of memories, supports the nostalgic and loving viewpoint of the song. It has absolutely nothing to do with how Jimin was affected by the events of the pandemic or anything he found inside himself because of it.
Both songs have been described by Jimin as a 'fan song' and as I described in this post, there are many reasons that support both of them falling into this categorization. To me, Letter is more about Jimin having a deep intimate conversation with us because he trusts us. While CTT is literally about the relationship between ARMY and Jimin.
Anyway, I think that's all I've got to say about it for now. What are your thoughts? Should Closer Than This have been included in FACE? Was it just a marketing ploy to keep generating our interest after Jimin left?
(BTW I'm really happy with those FACE gifs and how the ripples look when they're together. They took some time to figure out. I just wish I had some better software to turn them into gifs so the colours display better, but alas, beggars can't be choosers. They look really great in the ppt that I made them in but I guess that's just for me to enjoy!)
As always I'm beyond excited to see more interpretations of Jimin's work floating around. And @jikookuntold put in some serious work with this post! If any of you haven't read it yet, please do!
I still haven't delivered on my promised Like Crazy analysis but I'd like to share just a few thoughts brought up by this post that I didn't explicitly state in my FACE post.

SOME LIKE CRAZY THOUGHTS BELOW CUT:
My personal interpretation of both the movie and the song focuses a little more on philosophy than an actual event. Now the important thing to note is I never saw the movie prior to FACE's release. And it was several weeks after release that I finally did watch it. I don't remember how long but it was enough that I pretty much knew the lyrics. That being said my place in the ace-aro spectrum always heavily influences how I generally interpret rom coms.
Here's a link to my FACE post if you're interested:

I actually really liked the movie when I watched it! It does a great job at telling its narrative while not being too obvious or patronizing. So I'm grateful for Jimin sharing it with us.
My main takeaway from the movie wasn't how arbitrary rules and regulations can cause absolute havoc on normal ppl just trying to live their lives. (Although I absolutely agree with @jikookuntold about this application to queer relationships. THAT is so inciteful and a very plausible application given thematic storytelling of the early 2010s).
I instead honed in on the idea of willful ignorance. The main character has a pivotal moment where they KNOW the consequences of their actions will not be in their own best interest. There is no excuse, they knew what they were doing. Anna is completely aware that there will be consequences for disregarding the regulations of her Visa and yet she did it anyway. It wasn't that she didn't know, it's that she decided to give into temptation and thus accept the consequences. For old school disney fans, think of Ariel signing Ursula's contract.
Jimin's song is the same for me. The 'she' being Temptation.
She's saying
Baby, come and follow me
There's not a bad thing here tonight
Save your reasons all for later
Stay with me a little while
Once he gives in, he's lost who he was before and spends a while just embracing it because getting out seems impossible.

...and now I'm remembering why most of my attempts at this post haven't come to fruition over the past year. Definitely feeling somethings. So I'm going to stop for now but I did still want to share this little bit with y'all.
Once again, thanks to @jikookuntold for sharing a great analysis. I'd love to hear any other thoughts and interpretations anyone else has as we come up to the anniversary!
What Is Like Crazy About?
Since the day "Like Crazy" was released, I wanted to post about it, but couldn't get the time to focus and do a comprehensive analysis. Finally, right before the first anniversary of this masterpiece, I got the time, and the post is ready now. Before starting off, I have to remind you of the fact that a work of art can be interpreted in many different ways, and none of those interpretations are necessarily right or wrong. Every work of art contains a message that is the artist’s main intention from that creation, but the artist doesn’t have to explain it to the audience because a true work of art speaks for itself, even though not all audiences can receive it thoroughly.
I know that in the past year, so many different types of analyses and theories were made by fans to explain this song, and most definitely, I couldn’t keep up with all of them. Therefore, I’m not claiming my analysis to be a breakthrough, and you might have read most parts of it somewhere else. In this post, we are going to discuss “Like Crazy” from a lyrical and conceptual point of view, trying to find out what message or messages Jimin wanted to convey by creating it.

About “Like Crazy”
“Like Crazy” as the title track for Jimin's first solo album, "FACE", stole the hearts of millions of fans and locals around the world, and inarguably became one of the most successful pop songs of the year 2023. I can talk for hours about how beautiful and successful “Like Crazy” is, and how it broke KPop boundaries and countless records. But, in this post, we are going to break to the surface and talk about the meanings and motivations behind this song and answer the questions like “How this song was made?” “What was Jimin's intention in writing these romantic lyrics?”
As I mentioned earlier, artists usually don’t directly address their main message and their intention in creating a form of art, but many of them speak about the motivations and inspirations that led them to the creation. Jimin hasn’t talked much about the sources of inspiration behind individual tracks of “FACE”, but I guess “Like Crazy” was an exception for him because he revealed on several occasions that he was inspired by “Like Crazy”, the movie. And this piece of information is the key to our analysis:
"I tried to express the feelings of that movie. You know, the somewhat complex, somewhat lonely, somewhat happy emotions. I tried to express all these ambiguous and subtle emotions in a slightly sexy way, but I’m not sure how it’ll end up being received by people.”
Like Crazy, The Movie
First of all, we need to keep in mind that “Like Crazy” is a completely original song, and Jimin has not used or sampled any songs, lines, or dialogues from the movie in his lyrical or visual concepts (even the intro and outro dialogues in the song were original and not from the movie). If Jimin had not stated his source of inspiration directly, the only hint that could have led us to it would be the title of the song, which duplicates the title of the movie since the title never appears in the lyrics.
So, Jimin chose this specific name for his song and announced his source of inspiration to make it clear that there is a straight and strong connection between the song and the movie. He made it clear that this connection is 100% conceptual and emotional, and if we want to know what “Like Crazy” is about, and what ambiguous and subtle feelings Jimin is talking about, we have to redirect the analysis to the concept of the movie, “Like Crazy”.
As we all know, “Like Crazy” is a romantic movie, and Drake Doremus directed it casting "Felicity Jones" and the late "Anton Yelchin" as the main characters, Anna and Jacob. Doremus based the storyline of this low-budget movie on his experience being in a long-distance relationship with his partner and developed it into a 90-minute-long movie, which was released in 2011 and became relatively successful.

Anna and Jacob
A few days before the release of “FACE”, I was informed that the title track, “Like Crazy” is based on a movie of the same name. After learning this fact, I had to re-watch it because I couldn’t remember anything after a decade, and I had some questions like: “What was in this movie that made it so special for Jimin?” “How would Jimin feel watching this?”. Having this mindset helped me to see the movie differently, but before explaining those new insights we need a short storyline of the movie:
Anna is a British exchange student in LA, where she falls in love with Jacob, an American student, and they start dating. Anna, blinded by her love for Jacob, overstays her student visa and consequently gets banned from re-entering the United States. After experiencing a forced LDR, Jacob flies to London to visit Anna, and her father suggests that getting married might resolve the issue, but they are not ready for this big step. Jacob goes back to LA and basically chooses his job over Anna, but after some time, they realize that they can’t be apart, and they decide to get married. Six months after the marriage, when the time for the appeal of Anna’s ban comes, it gets rejected, and they lose their last hope of being together. Again, they go back to their sad lives, but after some time, Anna is finally offered a visa, and she leaves everything behind to reunite with Jacob. The ending scene shows how this separation has damaged their relationship, and things will never be the same.
The movie portrays the hardships of a long-distance relationship and the damage the separation can do to two souls and their connection. I think the recent movie by "Celine Song" named "Past Lives" was partially similar to like crazy, but also there was a big difference; unlike Nora and Haesung in “Past Lives”, Anna and Jacob don’t leave it to fate, they don’t forget about each other and don’t settle down with others just because their love seemed difficult or impossible.
They found true happiness only next to each other and did everything against all odds (especially Anna) to take that back. Maybe if Anna and Jacob weren’t in love like crazy and were more mature and realistic, they would end up like Nora and Haesung (Sorry if this spoiled that movie for you), but they didn’t and made their own bittersweet ending.
Many people claim that “Like Crazy” is a breakup movie with a sad ending, therefore, Jimin’s song also must be a breakup song. But, first of all, the ending can somehow be considered an open ending. We don’t know what happens after the shower scene, but we see them together, in each other’s arms, and this is not a totally sad ending by any movie standards. Other than that, Anna and Jacob became separated a few times, but they don't officially break up by choice, their separation is the result of contractual rules and laws, made by society.
This movie, as its director explained, might be originally about a long-distance relationship, but also the main relationship in this movie can be seen as a relationship that gets strained by laws and regulations, it’s about the rules and imaginary borders that decide if two people can be together or ban them from it. It’s a story of the “love against law”.
A Heterosexual Love Story?
When “Like Crazy” was released in theatres back in 2011, it got positive reviews for good acting that made the movie feel sweet and intimate with mostly improvised dialogues. Meanwhile, the negative reviews were focused on the plotline of this drama, calling it far from reality. Other than the fact that Jacob could have easily resolved this issue by taking his job from LA to London, in reality, the couple wouldn’t have faced this much difficulty over the legal complications, especially after getting married.
The fact is, straight couples usually never face this kind of hardship, and governments take that easy on them otherwise, there wouldn’t be so many sham marriages around the world just to get citizenship. So, the idea of a couple getting separated by law is not common, and that’s why many people called this movie implausible. But, a queer person can familiarly receive this implausibility, like when they want to be with someone forever, but the laws don’t let them.
Could it be this feeling that made “Like Crazy” special and a source of inspiration for Jimin? Or was it something smaller like the Santa Monica beach scene? I have no answer, I only make theories, and I think it’s better to leave the movie here and start the lyrical interpretation to see how these words and feelings can get connected.
The Lyrics
[Intro]
(I think we could last forever (I'm afraid that everything will disappear Just trust me)
As I said earlier, this intro is not a dialogue from the movie, but the narrators were told to do it based on the audio from the movie that was sent to them. So, hypothetically, it’s Anna and Jacob having this conversation. He is afraid of losing everything, but Anna assures him that if he trusts her, they can last forever. In the MV, we see Jimin standing in the crowd, but the time goes in reverse, and through a transition into his eyes, we see him sitting alone. Weirdly, the outro of the song is playing in the background here, but we will figure out the reason later.
[Verse 1]
Korean Version, Translated
She's saying Baby, don't think about it There's not a bad thing here tonight Baby, it's fine if you leave Stay with me, just for today
English Version
She's saying, Baby, come and follow me There's not a bad thing here tonight Save your reasons all for later Stay with me a little while
Anna asks him to follow her and assures him that everything is fine, it’s fine if this is not going to last long. It’s not the time for reason and overthinking. The gendered pronoun here refers to Anna, but we will know more about her in the next verses. It is worth mentioning that in the primary handwritten lyrics by Jimin, there was no “She” and it was modified later considering the dialogues added to the intro. Anyway, we know Jimin didn’t release these drafts in his album for no reason.

In this part of the MV, we see Jimin sitting alone in a room, and with a flicker of lights, the room is filled with mud. Suddenly, a muddy hand of a girl grabs Jimin’s hand and leads him to a party. There are several symbols in this part, the lonely room is Jimin’s reality, and the party is his dream. The mud symbolizes dreams and desires that leave their trace on your life and soul.
[Verse 2]
Korean Version, Translated
Watch me go Drenching myself all night (Away) So that even the morning Gets drunk and doesn't arrive
English Version
Watch me go Now, I sink down, all alone away Where am I? A dark haze clouding up my eyes
From here, we don’t see the girl because Jimin and the girl became one. She was her reflection from the beginning, the side that leads him out of his loneliness, and allures him to his dreams and desires, tempts him to be careless and stop thinking too much. Some say she is Jimin’s Anima, but these lyrics never go to the deep levels of the subconscious to reach the Anima. She is his feminine side that is a tangible side of him, and Jimin’s asymmetric makeup gives it away. Also, the mirrored moves between Jimin and the female dancer in “Like Crazy’s” choreography made it clear that the feminine presence in this song is Jimin’s reflection.
[Pre-Chorus]
Korean Version, Translated
As the loud music I get faded out A cliché story like a drama I get used to it Have I come too far to find the me that you used to know Yeah, I know You know I know (Ooh)
English Version
I can hear the voices listening Don't know who they are Trying to take the pressure off Been reaching for the stars Tell me, will I find myself again? When I go too far? Yeah, I know You know, I know (Ooh)
Jimin enters the party and starts drinking, dancing, and having fun with the others. He laughs and enjoys himself in the crowd and trusts the supposed strangers, but the confusion doesn’t leave him alone. He feels lost, and as the lyrics say, he is worried about going too far and not finding himself again. The two opposite sides of him are conflicting. It’s the contradiction between "fear and desire", between "pain and numbness", between "loneliness and losing yourself", and between "reason and dream" that leaves him confused.
[Chorus and Post Chorus]
Korean Version, Translated
I'd rather be Lost in the lights, Lost in the lights I'm outta my mind Hold onto the end of the night Every night You spin me up high The moon with you in its arms Let me have a taste Give me a good ride (Oh, I'm fallin', I'm fallin', I'm fallin') Oh, it's gon' be a good night (Oh, I'm fallin') Forever, you and I
English Version
I'd rather be Lost in the lights, lost in the lights I'm outta my mind Can you help me numb the pain? Each night, you spin me up high Emotions on ice Let me have a taste Give me a good ride (Oh, I'm fallin', I'm fallin', I'm fallin') Oh, it's gon' be a good night (Oh, I'm fallin') Forever, you and I
In this part, he confesses which side he really wants to follow. He wants to go out of his mind, lose himself to the desire, and leave the reason behind. It’s the escapism that saves him from loneliness and the pain of real life. The chorus is the sexy and at the same time, the most poetic part of this song, especially where he is spinning up high in the arms of the moon.
The last line of the post-chorus, “Forever you and I” which also repeats in the last part of the interlude, is crucial because it declares that Jimin is not talking about vagrancy or promiscuity. He wants it all with his significant other, the only one who can help him numb the pain of real life and escape it. But this escapism has its consequences, and we see all that mud flush out of every corner symbolizing. This scene artistically ends with Jimin facing his reflection in the crowd. The question is, is this reflection the same significant other, or is it Jimin himself? We will get the answer in the next part.

[Verse 3]
Korean Version, Translated
The me, reflected in the mirror Is going crazy endlessly I'm feelin' so alive, wasting time
English Version
All my reflections, I Can't even recognize I'm feelin' so alive, wasting time
His fear of losing himself was true, and it's happening now. This duality confuses him and makes him question his reality. Which side is the true Jimin? He doesn't care anymore because this escapism makes him feel alive.
Here in the MV, we see Jimin facing the reflection, and it immediately cuts to the restroom scene where he faces his literal reflection in the mirror and talks to him about not recognizing him anymore. Then, the restroom being dismantled symbolizes his state of mind. "The reflection of myself in an unfamiliar appearance" was the concept of "his whole"FACE" which was a whole album about Jimin himself.

[Outro]
This will break me This is gonna break me (Break me) No, don't you wake me (Wake me) I wanna stay in this dream, don't save me Don't you try to save me (Save me) I need a way we (Way we) I need a way we can dream on (On, on, on) (Alone again What's the point?)
Jimin knows the consequences of losing himself but embraces it. He knows it's gonna break him but doesn't want to wake up from his dream. He knows everything will collapse but doesn't need a savior. He wants to stay in that dream, but he knows it's impossible, and sooner or later, he will be dragged out of it.
Is there a way to cut all the connections to the real world of loneliness and stay in this dream forever? We get the answer in the MV, and it's not positive because suddenly, everything goes backward in speed, to where we started (remember the outro being played in the beginning? That was the clue).
He goes back to his lonely room with a muddy hand. Did his hand get dirty from a touch of his reflection, or was the muddy hand in the beginning his own hand? Is he trapped in a loop? Maybe. Maybe this wasn't his first or the last time coming back from that dreamland, and it was the reason for so much mud accumulated in his room. He is a regular in that dreamland and he can't quit.
Conclusion
It's understandable if this analysis of the movie, lyrics, and the MV didn't guide you in any direction, and maybe you are even more confused after reading it all. But don't blame yourself because Jimin already told us that, his emotions for this movie are complex. So, don't look for just one answer, maybe we are not supposed to end up with one conclusion, and this song also can have multiple interpretations and meanings. But what are these meanings?
If you pay attention to the lyrics and the MV you will realize that despite them being aligned and in sync, the lyrics have more connection to the movie. While filming the MV, Jimin mentioned that things (scenes of the MV) didn't happen like this in real life, which was an obvious fact, because this song is clearly not about being the life of the party and stuff like that, and has more internal meanings.
In "Like Crazy", Jimin talks about the loneliness of his real life, the isolation and limitations he experienced during the pandemic, and maybe other times. But Jimin finds an alternate reality, where he can be himself, be free and careless, and forget about the future. This alternate reality is rooted in two possibilities: The feminine side, and the significant other. The feminine side is what we face in the MV, and there are not many signs of it in the lyrics.
The feminine side appears as a muddy hand and a presence at the part that faces Jimin and becomes one with him as his reflection. The idea of "bigender" is nothing new in the concepts that Jimin has offered on different occasions, from his fake tattoos in ARMY-Zip 2019 to the performance of "Filter" in 2020 and his photopholio in 2022, he has expressed this fluidity in his work, and I think the visual concept of "Like Crazy" with his different makeup in the MV and the choreography was the epitome of it.
What about the significant other? As I mentioned in the analysis of chorus parts, "Forever You and I" Can only be interpreted as his exclusiveness to someone who is his significant other. This person is the one who saves Jimin from his loneliness and assures him about their happy ending. This person has no doubt in them lasting forever and only wants Jimin to trust him to take the lead and let that happen.
He keeps saying to his significant other that there is no future. They can't be together forever, this is just a temporary situation, and despite finding comfort in each other, they should not get attached because they will forced to be separated. It's not like Jimin doesn't believe in this love, he does and has the same wishes and dreams, but he keeps getting dragged to the real world where the rules govern.
This part is just a personal opinion as a Jikooker, but I did this analysis in my head last year when "Like Crazy" was newly released and had no intention of making a connection between this and Jikook, until "Seven" came out. We all know JK had no hand in making the sexy lyrics of "Seven", but after watching the MV (which had nothing to do with the lyrics), I couldn't unsee the fact that the concept of Seven's MV looked so much like a response to "Like Crazy's" lyrics. Still, we don't know if gave any ideas for the concept of the MV, but considering his record of working as an MV director, it's not impossible.
This is all I could say about "Like Crazy", a masterpiece that is still thriving in the charts and still touches people's hearts because it comes from real and deep emotions that Jimin had in his heart. That emotion got us the moment we listened to it for the first time, even though verbalizing it is never easy, no matter how many analyses and reviews we write.
The End.
I knew there were plenty of examples of members monitoring their footage like this. I stumbled across one tonight.
Check out this BTS episode:
This is from a 2019 KBS performance so BTS's crew likely wouldnt have access to the raw footage at all. To allow the members to review their footage, they have their own camera recording a monitor. Then we see members watching back their performance on a few different phones. This is what leads me to believe they have a standard practice of uploading performance footage somewhere they can access for quick review.
I grabbed a couple of screen records:

On a complete sidenote, I love finding little gems like this. It seems Like Crazy was a premonition from clear back in 2019! Hobi should get credit for it! 🤣🤣🤣

hey, i was curious about something from ep 6. jimin talks about filming with the kids for sgmb, and jungkook says he saw the video. but sgmb was filmed the day before they left for tokyo, and their conversation was just a few days after that. there’s no way the finished product was done by then, right? (especially considering that music video wasn’t scheduled to come out for many months) can we assume jungkook is talking about some other video of jimin and the kids or maybe some raw footage? the timeline is just interesting to me!
Hi anon,
While there's really no way for us to know, I do have a couple of suspicions. But first, I would always recommend if any specific wording seems to stick with you abut anything the members say, please remember that they do speak in a language that often doesn't have a 1:1 translation to English. I don't have anyone to point you at since I don't spend any time in BTS social media outside of tumblr but I believe there are some army translators out there that can corroborate the translations.
Now, onto the video in question. There are a couple of hints I've gleaned over the years regarding BTS's work process and access to monitoring their own footage. In case you're not aware, the raw data on the big ol' fancy cameras is quite large and it takes some doing to get that data moved to here it needs to be for editing.
But we all know how involved BTS is with monitoring their own content after most takes. How many times do we see 3J asking for one more take in that Butter dance practice?? So we know they will utilize the monitor station to review directly after takes. But I've seen them point a lower quality camera at one of those monitors and watch the output later. You can see this type of footage in the SGMB shooting sketch as well. Here's a quick bit:

We see the entire cast gathered around a monitor but then it cuts to a camera recording the monitor. That means there is a person pointing a camera at the monitor itself. My theory is this extra footage is uploaded to some shared location for ease of review while the actual footage takes whatever time it requires to properly manage the quality. I would also assume that all of the members have access to this shared space to review whatever they'd like.
All just theories though. I know there are a few of you that have reached out to me who actually work in film and I'd be curious to know if this sounds realistic or not.

give them FACE give them BODY you know how it goes

Chapter One~
Jimin is an extravagant host who throws grand New Year's Eve parties, known for gathering Korea's A-listers, music legends, and the hottest celebrities under one roof. His home morphs into a glitzy wonderland, where guests sip champagne, dance to live bands, and enjoy exclusive performances from the biggest names in entertainment.
These parties are not just about ringing in the new year, they're the most extravagance, glamour, and A-list group. These star decorated events are more than a celebration, they're a chance for the rich, famous, and influential to network, unwind, and let loose. Jimin himself moves about the room with confidence, charming every celebrity he meets, and ensuring that every guest feels like a VIP. The press buzzes about Jimin's parties for days, analyzing every detail of the luxurious festivities and speculating who was seen with whom.
Jimin's sharp eyes caught sight of a face that didn't look familiar. He paused, taking a moment to observe you with a curious tilt of his head. He watched as you walked outside. The parties he hosted were packed with familiar faces, and there was something intriguing about this unknown presence. His gaze held steady for a moment longer before he subtly excused himself from the conversation he was in. With an air of confidence, he approached you, a friendly smile on his lips. "Hello," he greeted, his tone smooth as he extended a hand.
Now let’s start over to how we even got here in the first place…….
Two weeks ago~
On a regular Friday night, you sat in your modest apartment, the faint glow of your old television casting shadows on the bare walls. The news had just finished, and now, the late night commercials played, an endless parade of products and services trying to sell you something. But one commercial in particular caught your eye. A promotion for the latest, most exclusive party hosted by the one and only, Park Jimin. You sat up straighter, your heart fluttering in your chest. Park Jimin. The man everyone loves including yourself.
He was the charming idol known for his dashing good looks and magnetic charisma. You had been a fan of his for years, devouring every concert , every interview, every piece of information about him you could find. And now, here he was, promoting his latest party, a gathering of the rich and famous, a world light-years away from your life. As Jimin flashed that familiar, cheeky smile at the camera, your grip on the remote tightened, your eyes fixed on the screen, captivated. “He’s perfect….” You mumble slightly biting your lips.
You couldn’t shake the thought of being there. Wearing a beautiful dress, dancing in a sea of glittering lights, and maybe, just maybe, having a chance to meet him. But then reality set in, cold and stark. Those events were for the wealthy, the glamorous, the chosen ones. Not for someone like you, struggling to make ends meet, living paycheck to paycheck. Tears pricked your eyes, disappointment and longing mixing in a bitter lump in your chest. You clicked off the television, plunging your living room into darkness.
Yet, the image of Jimin stayed with you, burned into your mind. How could someone so bright and vibrant be just beyond your reach? It wasn’t fair. Frustration gnawed at you. Why couldn’t you have a chance at adventure, at excitement…at something more? With a huff, you rose from the couch, pacing your small living room. It was as if the walls were closing in on you, the reality routine of your life constricting your dreams. The desire to see that party, to touch that world, thrummed through your veins like a current.
As your mind whirled with the idea of attending Jimin's exclusive party, a spark of an idea took form. Becoming a 'fake' famous person? It sounded absurd and risky, perhaps even insane, but it was the only way you saw that could lead you into that glittering world. You sat down at your computer, determined to figure out the specifics of how to achieve this impossible goal.
The hours blurred as you delved into the shadows of the internet, researching every strategy, every trick you might need to pull off your plan. You read about impersonators, con artists, and social media influencers who faked their way into exclusive events. There was even a famous tale of a man who successfully impersonated a famous idol for almost a decade. It’s not impossible. It CAN happen. You just need to find out how.
But even with all the knowledge you gathered, doubt crept in. You were just a simple girl. How could you possibly fool the world into thinking you were someone you weren’t? The reality of the task threatened to crush your spirit. But then, you remembered the look in Jimin’s eyes on the television, the carefree smile that made your heart skip. There was no way you could let the chance to meet him pass you by. You’d find a way, no matter what.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Days melted into nights as you searched fashion and lifestyle blogs, learning the dos and don’ts of high end style. Expensive designer clothes, luxury accessories, and a makeup look that screamed ‘wealth.’ You even came across a website selling fake luxury items, purses, watches, and jewelry that looked authentic enough to fool even the most seasoned of connoisseurs.
You also needed a convincing backstory, something realistic that would explain your sudden presence. Your mind raced through various possibilities, each wilder than the next. A tech entrepreneur’s daughter? A foreign heiress? A social media influencer with a million followers? What would be more believable?
Just as you were about to sink into despair over the complexity of your plan, a name popped up on your computer screen…….a name you knew well from Jimin’s social media. It was a personal assistant to a well known actor, someone who had definitely been to these types of parties before. A lightbulb went off in your head. This person could be the key to your plan, the missing piece in your puzzle!!
You spent the rest of the night studying everything you could find about this person. Their public information, their online activities, even where they ate lunch. You needed to know them inside out, just as a dedicated undercover agent would. This was your only chance to get past the security at the party, and you weren’t about to blow it.
You pulled up the fashion sites you'd bookmarked earlier, perusing through the luxurious dresses and shoes. You would have to buy everything with the money you'd saved, but in your mind, the cost was worth the chance to meet Jimin. As you browsed, one particular dress caught your eye…..it was a stunning evening gown, with a plunging neckline and a train that could rival a princess. It was the perfect choice for you.
With the dress chosen, you then moved on to the finer details, the accessories, the shoes, the makeup. You’d have to look every bit the part, after all. Yet, there was one thing that bothered you……how to get a ticket to the exclusive event. There was no way you could just show up and waltz right in. You needed some sort of proof of your ‘status’. Inspiration struck! You went back to the personal assistant's social media page, scrolling through their recent photos until you found what you were looking for. Right there, the pictures of fancy parties and red carpet events, was the golden ticket…..a picture of the assistant holding a VIP invitation.
With this new evidence you took a mental note to search up the VIP invitation. As you searched the web you noticed the invitation was displayed almost everywhere. Would it be possible to get a photo of the ticket and print it out? But then it wouldn’t be legit enough. You thought about the possibilities, but none of them were good enough. The party was in a few days and you had to act fast. With that you go to an editing app to crop out a picture of the invitation to print out. It’s a risky move but it was worth it and at the end of the day you had nothing to lose.
A sly smile crossed your face. This was it. You had your way into the party. All you needed now was some confidence, a dash of courage. Easy, right? As you closed your laptop, you could almost feel your heart hammering out of your chest. It was all becoming real. In a few days, you would be attending one of the most exclusive parties of the year, all in the hopes of meeting your celebrity crush. The very thought of it sent tingles down your spine.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The next few days passed in a blur of preparations and rehearsals. You spent your days practicing your new persona, from your accent and mannerisms to your knowledge of elite society. The more you immersed yourself in this new role, the more it started to feel real. The doubts and worries faded into the background, replaced by a growing sense of anticipation and excitement.
You even managed to get your hands on the fake luxury items. A designer bag, a Rolex watch, and a diamond necklace. As you looked in the mirror, trying them on and checking how they looked, you barely recognized yourself. This wasn’t plain, ordinary y/n anymore. This was a woman of wealth, status, someone who could move in Jimin’s world. You grabbed your fake ticket and a hit of anxiety washes over you. This is risky but……you wanted this more than anything and now is time to act on it.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Finally, the night of the party arrived. You felt a familiar flutter in your stomach as you slipped into the stunning evening gown. The silk caressed your skin like it was made for you, its deep red hue making you feel every bit the sophisticated socialite. You looked at yourself in the mirror, and for a moment, even you were fooled.
You put on the final pieces. The watch, the necklace, the bag. As you took one last look in the mirror, you saw a person completely different to your usual self. This persona, this woman you had created, was elegant, mysterious, confident. This would be the person who mets Jimin tonight.
With that thought, you took a final deep breath, and headed out of your apartment, your heart pounding. The taxi ride to the venue passed in a blur as you ran through your plan once more in your mind. It was now or never.
When the taxi pulled up outside the venue, the sight that welcomed you was nothing short of grand. The building was lit with soft, golden lighting, and the sound of music and laughter spilled out into the night. Despite your nerves, you kept your composure, walking up to the entrance with the air of someone who belonged there. The security guards barely gave you a second glance before letting you through. “That was easy….” You mumble, voice laced with a bit of irritation. All that work of getting a fake invitation and they didn’t even notice it. Regardless you still made it in.
As you stepped into the venue, the first sight that greeted you were the glittering sea of people. The men were dressed in sharp tuxedos, the women in lavish dresses, and the overall vibe of the place was one of wealth and extravagance. Despite the luxurious surroundings, you kept your focus. This was not the place to get distracted, not when you had a mission to accomplish.
You made your way to another room of the venue, a quieter space with fewer people. This was your chance to explore the place. You grab a glass of champagne giving by the nearby employees and took sip after sip, letting the champagne’s bubbly sting ease some of your nerves. As you moved around the venue, you found yourself appreciating the beauty of the place. The art on the walls, the music playing in the background, it all seemed to combine into a setting suitable the most exclusive of events. And yet, you were here, a fraud in this world of luxury, your heart pounding at the thought of what you planned to do.
After looking at the main areas of the venue you stepped out onto the outdoor terrace, taking a moment to breathe in the night air. The cool breeze was a welcome relief from the stifling atmosphere indoors. But even as you tried to relax, your heart continued to pound, the tension in your body only growing the longer you stayed here. This wasn’t you or your life. As you look outside, your eyes on the crescent moon, you take another sip of the champagne.
“Hello.”
Your heart skipped a beat as you heard the familiar voice behind you. You spun around to see Jimin standing there, his iconic smile lighting up his face. He was even more handsome in person, his eyes sparkling in the soft glow of the terrace lighting.
For a moment, you could barely speak. Park Jimin, the man you'd watched on screen for years, was right there, talking to you. You collected yourself, reminding yourself to stay in character. This wasn't just y/n, the girl who'd won a chance to meet her favorite idol, this was the persona you created to get into the party. You plastered on a smile, doing your best to look cool and confident. “Hello, yourself.”
Jimin tilted his head to the side, studying you quietly. There was that look again, those mesmerizing eyes seeming to undress you as he took in every inch of you. He took a step closer, so close you could smell the subtle, masculine scent of his cologne. "You know," he said, his voice smooth and low, "I don’t think I’ve seen you at one of these events before. New face, are we?"
You swallowed, trying to stay composed under his intense gaze. Your heart was thumping loudly in your chest, the proximity making it hard to think. But this was the moment you'd been waiting for. You had to keep up the act, no matter what. “Yes, I suppose you could say that,” you replied, hoping your voice didn’t waver. “I’m normally not much of a party person, but tonight, I thought I’d try something new.”
Jimin’s smile widened, and he leaned against the railing, his arms resting casually. “Well, I’m glad you decided to come,” he said, his tone almost...flirtatious. Or were you imagining things? “It’s not often I find someone new at these events, and certainly not someone as intriguing as you…”
You could feel yourself blushing under his gaze, but you steeled herself, doing your best to appear cool and unruffled. This was the exact sort of attention you’d been hoping for, but also the sort of thing that could easily reveal you as a fraud. “You flatter me,” you managed to say, your voice betraying a hint of shakiness.
Jimin chuckled, the sound sending a shiver down your spine. He moved closer, his gaze traveling down your figure, taking in your every feature. There was something almost possessive about the way he looked at you, like you were a treasure he wanted to claim for himself. “It’s not flattery if it’s the truth,” he murmured, his voice lower now. “You are the most captivating woman here, by far…”
“Thank you,” you managed to say, your voice just above a whisper. “I could say the same about you, you know.”
His smile deepened, his eyes sparkling in the soft light, his crooked front tooth flashing. He leaned in closer, so close you could feel his breath against your skin. It was intoxicating, this proximity, the way he made you feel like the only person in the room, the only person in the world, even. "Oh, you are too kind…” he murmured, his voice low and sultry. "But let me ask you something, mystery lady. What brings you to this exclusive party, exactly?”
You tried to keep your cool, despite the effect he was having on you. You prepared a response to that question, and you had to stick to it, no matter how flustered you were getting. You let out a casual, practiced laugh, your tone still as nonchalant as possible. “Oh, you know…” you said, waving a hand airily. “Just interested in seeing what all the fuss is about these high-end parties. I’ve heard they’re quite the experience…”
“Quite the experience, indeed,” he said, his voice a whisper. “But you don’t seem like the kind of person who normally enjoys these events. No offense, but you look a bit out of your element here…” he says, his eyes never leaving yours.
You felt a flash of nervousness at his comment. He was observant, this man, more perceptive than you’d given him credit for. But you brushed off the feeling, reminding yourself that you had to keep playing your part. You let out another casual laugh. “Oh, I suppose I am a bit out of my comfort zone here,” you admitted, playing up the humble façade “But that’s part of the fun, isn’t it? Trying new things and all that…”
Jimin hummed thoughtfully, his eyes still studying your face carefully. There was something in his gaze that made you feel as though he was seeing straight through you, seeing the real you beneath the facade. But you shook the feeling off, telling yourself it was just your imagination. After a moment, he spoke again, his voice just as smooth and sultry as before. “I suppose it is,” he said, his lips curling into a slight smile. “And what else do you find ‘fun’, mystery lady?”
“The unexpected, I suppose” you said, your voice low. “Things that take the breath away…..make the heart race.”
His smile widened at your words, a satisfied, almost predatory look on his face. He took another step closer, closing the distance between you and him even more. Your heart was pounding now, your entire body on edge as you felt the magnetic pull between you two. "You and I have more in common than I thought…" he murmured, his voice gravelly and deep. "I, too, crave the unexpected…the thrilling…the wild…"
He reached out, letting his fingertips graze your arm, a soft, electric touch. It was the smallest of contacts, but it was enough to send your heart racing even more. His voice lowered, his words a soft, seductive whisper. “There’s something about you that draws me in, you know…" he said, his eyes fixed on yours. "It’s like you’re a puzzle...and I have an irresistible need to solve you…”
“A puzzle, huh?” You managed to say, your voice betraying a hint of the breathless feeling you were trying to hide. “And what if I’m too hard to solve?”
His fingers continued to touch your arm, his touch slow and deliberate. There was a hint of hunger in his gaze now, a feral, primal look that made your heart beat even faster. “I like a challenge,” he said, his voice low and intense. “And you, my dear, are looking more challenging by the moment…” His other hand came up, now tracing the line of your chin, his touch surprisingly gentle.
“You’re very confident, aren’t you?” You said, trying to sound casual. “You don’t even know me, and yet…here you are, so sure you can solve my ‘puzzle’…”
He chuckled again licking his lips, his fingers tracing your jawline now. “It’s not confidence…” he murmured, his voice low and husky. “It’s a certainty. You intrigue me, mystery lady. You’re not like other women I’ve met, and I find that…intoxicating…”
“You’re quite the charmer, you know that?” You said, your voice betraying a hint of playfulness. “Do these lines usually work on the women you meet?”
He smiled, his fingers tracing the curve of your neck now, a soft, gentle touch. His gaze was fixed on your face, studying your expression with an intense attentiveness. "Not always," he admitted, his voice a soft whisper. "But with you, it's not just a line, it's the truth. You are different, mystery lady. You make me feel…" He drew closer, his body now just inches away from yours, his eyes never leaving yours.
His closeness was making it hard to breathe. You were acutely aware of his height, his strength, the subtle scent of his cologne. It was overwhelming, and you found herself struggling to keep your cool, your heart beating wildly in your chest.* "F-Feel what?" You asked, your voice barely above a whisper. You were losing control, rapidly losing control.
"Alive…hungry…" he murmured, his voice a rough whisper. "Like I’ve been asleep my whole life and you’ve just woken me up…” He leaned in, his lips close to your ear, his breath hot against your neck.
Your whole body was screaming, your senses on overload. The feeling of his lips near your ear, the heat of his breath…it was as if your entire existence narrowed down to just those sensations, those points of contact between them. Every instinct in your body was telling you to give in, to surrender to this magnetic pull, but another part of you was screaming to keep your guard up, to remember who you were supposed to be. "I…I…" you began, your voice shaking.
He paused for a moment, his lips still just inches from your neck. The countdown echoed around them, the voices of the crowd building in anticipation for the new year. But his eyes remained on yours, his gaze now filled with a mixture of hunger and determination. "Happy New Year, mystery lady…" he whispered, his breath warm against your skin. "This is going to be a year to remember…”
He pulled away slightly, his fingers still on your neck, as the sounds of fireworks exploded around you two, signaling the start of the new year. The colors danced in the sky, painting the night of light and sparks. "And it's going to start now…" he murmured, his voice low and husky. With that, he leaned in, his lips just barely brushing against yours, a gentle, tentative touch.
The touch of his lips on yours sent a jolt of electricity through your body, a wave of heat and desire unlike anything you’d ever experienced. You tried to stay composed, tried to play it cool, but his touch was melting your resistance, your entire being drawn to him like a magnet. You returned the kiss, your lips soft yet hungry, your body leaning into his, wanting more.
He responded instantly, grabbing your hips and pulling you closer, so close they were almost one. His kiss deepened, his tongue exploring your mouth with a fierce, passionate hunger. He backed you up against the wall, his body pressed taut against yours, trapping you between him and the wall.
The intensity of his kiss was almost overwhelming, the heat and hunger in his touch igniting a fire inside you. You struggled to catch your breath, your heart pounding so hard you could hear its beat in your ears. But your body responded on its own, your hands moving to his shoulders, your fingers digging into his flesh as you pulled him even closer, your legs growing weak beneath him.
He groaned as you pulled him closer, his grip on your hips tightening. He continued to kiss you, his lips moving down your neck, his tongue leaving a trail of fire on your skin. "You taste divine…" he murmured, his voice thick with arousal. "I've never wanted anyone the way I want you, mystery lady…it's driving me insane…”
His hands roamed over your backside, squeezing it gently as he grinded on you, a low moan escaping his lips as your hands roamed over his chest and abs. You then pulled him closer, your legs wrapping around his waist as you leaned against the wall behind you.
Just as things were about to escalate further, you hear the sound of footsteps approaching. Panic sets in as you realize you aren’t not alone. The interruption drew a frustrated groan from Jimin, his lips leaving her neck with a reluctant, almost possessive sigh. He pulled slightly away from you, his body still lingering close, as if unable to fully disconnect. "Damnit…" he murmured, his voice filled with annoyance. "I have to go greet guests…"
You tried to steady your breathing, your heart still beating wildly in your chest. His touch had left your head a little dizzy, your body humming with unsatisfied desire, the lingering heat and tension making it difficult to focus on anything else. You took a step back, giving him a bit of space, trying to compose yourself. "You better go, then," you said, your voice a little shaky. "Can't keep your adoring guest waiting…"
He grumbled a little under his breath, his annoyance clear. But his eyes were still on you, the intensity in his gaze making it clear that he wasn’t happy to leave you, not even for a moment. "I’ll be back as soon as I can…" he promised, his voice still low and rough. "And when I do…I intend to pick up right where we left off…" With that, he gave you one last, lingering look, as if memorizing your every feature, before reluctantly pulling away and heading towards the main area of the party.
You watched him go, your body still thrumming with the memory of his touch. You took a deep breath, trying to ground yourself, to bring your heart rate back to a normal level. But it was difficult, your mind still whirling with the events of the last few moments, the memory of his lips on yours, the feel of his hands on your hips…
You shook your head, trying to clear your thoughts. This night was turning out to be much more complicated than you had anticipated...
“Damn it…..I’m screwed….”
