Day 3 - Magpie
So I had this idea to draw one of Dia's chars, Maggie, with a magpie but she hasn't finished drawing her yet so imma wait on that... in the meantime, I had a reference of a magpie up so I drew it. XD Hence thing. Coloring = prisma-markers again plus digital edit (messed up the coloring and ink on the bird XD; and the twig. I redid the wood/branch thing in digital as well because that was also poorly done in the trad)

Day 10 - Maggie and a Magpie
AAaaaghh. So. XD It's been a while, Tumblr. Sorry I basically dropped off the face of the earth there. Things happened, forgot about Inktober. Y'know, the usual. XP But in any case I'm back and I'll be doing my best to see if I can't catch up with this here Inktober. So for your viewing pleasure... Dia's character Maggie, with a magpie. XD Waay overdue. I had a little sketch of this from like day 2 but never went anywhere. So here's a full one now. XD yayy...
Eurasian magpie/skata. One of these younglings started to pick and hesitantly eat rose petals, which is somewhat unusual behaviour for them. However, once one of them did it, the other two just had to follow suit. I love having the magpies around; they are always up to something. Värmland, Sweden (July 14, 2024).
