Hi! More Music Major Hiro and Art Major Issei AU!! Am I okay? Absolutely not this meme has occupied my head for 3 days

Please continue reading for headcanons I wrote for them!

Firstly, I just wanna say these two are idiots who like each other but take forever to confess

Because they don’t take the same classes, they text each other a lot during class lmao

This mainly includes Issei sending Hiro memes that reminded Issei of the creampuff djjsjd, which also meant you had Hiro fucking swooning like a fucking idiot everytime

Issei makes small crafts and things, he makes Hiro little sculptures of memes or stuff that reminded him of hiro before giving it to the strawberry-blonde

Hiro is probably a huge rock nerd honestly, also headcanon based on canon!! Hiro’s voice is lower than people portray and I just wanna say that when Hiro sings 😳😳😳 he has a raspy kinda voice hfjdjfjdj that Issei finds mad attractive

Hiro was pretty shy about singing in front of Issei at first, but he kinda opens up and now he really likes it because Issei really did seem to like his music

Because their beds were across from each other and not bunk beds, sometimes they’d just stretch their hand over and kinda just show each other stupid memes or hold hands platonically and talk about stuff

Hiro was generally quite insecure about his music even though he had this sort of confidence that people assumed was his true self, Issei has always been one of the only people who could tell when Hiro was genuinely down and made sure to always be there for him

Ever since Hiro met Issei, he’s been writing songs at a rate he never had?? Like god Issei made him feel so many things and he was just ????

Hiro never really performs the songs in front of Issei because it was quite obvious it was about Issei hdjsjdjd

When they do get together though, Issei is always the first person to listen to any of Hiro’s songs

Hiro used to have an ex and he talked to Issei about it before, he told Issei it was an ugly breakup for all the wrong reasons which made him wary of dating again

Of course that was before Hiro realised he liked Issei, but at that Issei already liked Hiro so that was just one of the many things that prevented them from admitting their feelings

Also Hiro confessed when he was wasted as fuck fhjsjd, he isn’t able to hold his alcohol well, especially compared to Issei and he just poured his heart out into telling Issei how much he liked him and how he couldn’t think straight around him at all (haha, straight) before proceeding to puke on the couch

Issei helps him clean up before spending the rest of the night thinking about the confession while Hiro was asleep

The next day Hiro realises how badly he fucked up and tries to brush it off but Issei is just like “I like you too, full homo”

And yeah that’s how they start dating and going around doing stupid shit like cafe hopping or cycling around exploring places whenever they were out of classes

They make it a point to always have a meal together at least once everyday and yeah, they just really love each other and are stupid but yes

When both of them graduate, they get an apartment together, big enough for each of them to have their own studios. Issei had established enough connections during his university years and managed to do freelance kinda stuff but Hiro did struggle a bit

But things got better and Hiro managed to get signed by a pretty famous record label djjsjs, Hiro proposes about a year after they moved in together and they stay engaged for a few years before actually getting married

Hi! This post was really just an excuse to write more headcanons because my brain is only them dhsjjd

I know I said Issei specialises in painting/crafts, but Issei being really good at photography is also something I really want;;

Like when they go on dates he brings his camera to take photos of Hiro!! And just them I'm general and he makes scrapbooks for Hiro's birthday or their anniversary;;

Also when Hiro had his first ever live performance, you bet your ass Issei was there, and Hiro was an absolute wreck because jfjsjd, his crush was literally right there oh god

But yeah, his band mates were like??? They were so confused and assumed it was some cute girl fjksjd

Issei made him a paper rose bouquet with little notes he wrote on the leaves of all of them;; it really took all it had for Hiro not to cry because he never had anyone who supported him like that before

Issei is a really messy artist like me!! (We have the same birthday!! HDJSJ) he gets paint everywhere (including himself) but for the most part when he wasn't using his supplies, they were very neatly organised

he always puts on Hiro's music when he draws or paints, Hiro's voice calmed him down a lot

When he paints in the studios provided by the university, he has friends who ask him about Hiro since they kinda knew about his crush lol, he plays it off but when it happens, he ends up distracted as heck

Also kinda headcanon Issei has two spectrums of art, funny, memey kinda shit or stuff that makes you question reality and if you were really just living a lie,, Issei puts a lot of thought into his pieces, he wasn't the most talkative person on earth, which is kinda why art was a outlet

(Also generally I just headcanon he's much more talkative/outgoing around really close friends)

They have matching cursed emojis phone-cases, they got matching earrings of different stuff too

They memorised each other's coffee/drink order and always treats the other to it when they were stressed etc

Also Hiro tends to mumble a lot in his sleep and they're usually about issei;; when they started dating and stuff Issei kinda likes to ask Hiro stupid shit and Hiro would reply in a really soft voice that made it seem like he was awake

Issei made Hiro "dat BOI" earrings and Hiro fucking loves them lol

Sometime Hiro feels he doesn't give Issei enough stuff which made him feel really guilty, Issei assures him that he just liked making stuff and he was just glad Hiro liked them too;; also I think for Issei, Hiro being so supportive and interested in the stuff he made was more than enough for him xjdj ;;

HDJSJ honestly Hiro kinda struggles with self-doubt a lot?? I guess maybe he never really felt good enough in his previous relationship;;

Meeting Issei pulled him out of a dark place I guess?? I mean, Issei was quite literally the light of his life

All that similar tastes in memes or general sense of humour made Hiro feel like he didn't have to change himself to be what someone else needed

Oh, last thing for now, these two are the kinda idiots to stay up at night thinking about something the other said, whether it be a compliment or just something that made their tummy fill with butterflies, they sure as hell are dense pining idiots lol

Hi, hanamatsu angst because I hate school

Context, I was thinking of an AU where they’re in a simulation game of sorts, the goal of which is to survive until the final wave???

Issei and Hiro stumble upon a trap that forces them to kill one another until only one victor emerges. Of course, they are unable to due to their feelings for each other.

Hiro in order to spare his lover’s life, takes him own, telling him that he loves him no matter what and that’ll he wait for him on the other side :)

Decided to paint this based off Hanamatsu's stage play actors :D !! Also I'm very aware Issei is canonically taller than Hiro, it's more of the pose that makes Hiro seem taller but I assure you I have no intention of changing their height dhjsjs - The caption is from "End credits" by Eden

In general I think the haikyuu stageplay has one of the best cast I've ever seen;; the actors are all wonderful ;;; The wonderful actors are Kanai Sonde as Hiro and Shirakashi Judai as Issei :)) - (Also please don't ship the actors!! Even personally, I love them for the characters they play, it wouldn't be nice to ship the real life actors who are completely different people outside of their job!! Let's respect the fact they are their own people yeah)

Haikyuu characters as things that happened at my high school

this is all 100% acurate cause i said so

Goshiki - Got made fun of by a teacher who convinces him that theres a type of fish that lives in the ceiling and he wholeheartedly believes it

Hinata - This guy that climbed into a fenced off area and fell into a pond in the middle of the school day

Yamaguchi - Someone got kicked out of the lesson for coughing too much and 'disrupting class'

Lev - Did a way too harsh, really bad comedy roast for all of the teachers as an act in the school talent show and got in trouble for it

Yamamoto - Because trainers were banned at the school he tried to start a 'trainers rebellion' by convincing the whole school to wear trainers one day because 'they can't stop us all' but it failed spectacularly

Hoshiumi - Climbs over the 7 foot fence in the middle of lunch to get a ball that got kicked over

Hanamaki and Matsukawa (they team up for this one) - This guy who ran a secret sweet selling business where he sold overpriced mostly american sweets to people during class, with a dedicated Instagram business account and everything

Atsumu - Got his pencil case thrown in the bin by a teacher cause he was being THAT annoying

Tanaka and Noya - A teacher thought they were using coughs to communicate during a test (they weren't) and she started screaming at the whole class and ripped up their papers (it was so bad another teacher had to come take over her class so she had time to clam down)

Daichi - My friend that got coerced into being the answer machine voice for the school phone number, and suga calls it up on speaker to embarrass him

Terushima - A guy asked me and my friend out and when we both said no he assumed we were just in a lesbian relationship that he hadn't heard about

Imagine Matsukawa coming home and he tells you a bullshit story of working at a funeral home. Here’s one I came up:

Note: I had way too much fun writing this

“You are not going to believe what happened today,” he huffed angrily as he tosses his jacket on a hook near your home’s entrance.

“What?” You ask with a semi-mouthful of food.

He locks his eyes with yours. “Some kid threw up in the casket.” The dark obsidian pools held utter wrathful irritation.

Your eyes immediately widen, narrow, and then dart away to avoid his gaze, fearing you might lose it if you made eye contact. You suck in your lips nervously to contain the laughter surging in your chest, coughing into a fist to dispel it.

“I even had to clean it up,” he says exasperated, hands clenching into fists, veins popping and relaxing at his movements.

“That,” you begin with a deep breath, swallowing the remnants of food down, “sounds awful. To the home and the family too,” you quickly add. If you kept talking, you wouldn’t give away your amusement.

He scoffs, but it sounded like an exhausted annoyance. “Yeah, it was. It was even chunky.” He turns to look at you, but noticed how you were hiding your face behind your hand, the crinkles at your eyes evident of the grin behind your palm.

Your eyes meet and you can’t hold it in any longer. The laugh you felt bubbling in your chest bursts past your lips before you can reign it back in. You clamp a hand over your lips, but it fails to subdue the chortles. You desperately clutch your sides as ceaseless laughter seize your body. Your eyes squeeze shut, forcing a tear down your face. 

“I’m sorry,” you managed to gasp out before dissolving into laughter again. “But that’s hilarious. The description and the kid,” you wheeze as you continue to chuckle at the absurdity.

Matsukawa can’t help but guffaw with you. The thought of him spewing vulgar curses while stubbornly cleaning up after a poor kid who couldn’t stand a corpse was absolutely ludicrous. You even felt bad for the kid who had to be on the receiving side of Matsukawa’s infamous withering gaze. He could’ve created an even bigger mess.

He pulls the chair out next to you, eyes glinting with humor and watches as you wipe away the tears of laughter from your blossomed cheeks.

“Do you want me to tell another story at my work?” He asks, suddenly mischievous, a part of him wanting to hear your ringing laugh. The horrifying experience had completely slipped over his head.

You quickly nod, forgetting how badly your sides and jaw hurt.

He smiles as he takes your hand and begins the story.

You both spent the night taking turns and sharing stories and ordeals that happened at work, howls of laughter and countless chuckles fill the air of your home and it now became tradition.

Ever since then, he finds himself filled with giddiness on his route home to tell you what happened today, and eagerly waits to hear yours.

It’s nice to come home like this, he thinks.

he shrugged and gave you a pat on your head

you move away and he stays in the same spot

and y'all are just looking at each other

"you did well, sweetheart"
