Megop Week Day 3: Marriage/Tears

Elita + Sentinel Repair Crew AU:

🕸🕷🕸 Spider Optimus Prime:

*Optimus is the one who fell into the spiders after being hit by rocks.

*He became techno-organic even though he doesn’t have Elita’s download ability, because the spiders were techno-organic and a failed Decepticon experiment that makes any creatures they bite become part robot spider.

*At first he was horrified at what he became, but slowly learns to like his new form and also begins to view the spiders as his new friends/family.

*The spiders actually see Optimus as their brother and they are loyal/protective of him.

*Optimus eventually managed to rebuild the broken down Decepticon ship and uses it to escape, with some of the spiders deciding to join Optimus.

*Later, Optimus is discovered by Megatron.

*Megatron is impressed by Optimus’ courage, intelligence and skills when he first meets Optimus and welcomes the spider bot and his airachnid companions to the Nemesis.

*Meanwhile, Optimus didn’t know what to feel about Megatron at first.

*However, Megatron shows Optimus the flaws of Autobot society, especially on Cybertron and then later he tells Optimus about how horrible life was like for war frames like Megatron before the war.

*Megatron tells Optimus that the warlord is aware that the Decepticons have also made mistakes, but at least they don’t try to hide them, unlike the Autobots.

*After a month of living on the Nemesis and thinking about it… Optimus agrees to become a Decepticon, but only as an engineer and battle strategist, not a warrior cause Optimus is not comfortable with the idea of directly attacking his former allies yet.

*Optimus also refuses for his spiders to become warriors either, they simply become his bodyguards.

*Optimus reveals his own past, including how everyone in his old life expected him to be perfect and how his best friends made him join their adventure to the forbidden spider planet, which led to them leaving him behind and his permanent transformation/mutation.

*Megatron is enraged on Optimus’ behalf that his so-called ‘friends’ betrayed him and promises to never abandon him, like they have.

*Optimus and Megatron become super close over the course of 1000 stellar cycles. (You decide if it’s romantic or platonic…)

*Optimus’ personality has somewhat changed; he’s sassier, snarkier and a bit more cynical, but he still has his big spark and eventually becomes Megatron’s moral compass.

*Optimus gets along with Blitzwing, Lugnut, Shockwave, Strika and even Starscream. (Optimus basically plays peacekeeper between Megatron and Starscream…)

💖🕷💖 Optimus, The Lead Engineer’s Team:

*Optimus later creates his own little team:

Bumblebee the Scout and Spy (who quit Bootcamp after learning what the Autobot Council and Elite Guard aren’t as heroic as he thought they were…) (He also willingly becomes techno-organic with alien bee DNA, after he became a Decepticon…)

Bulkhead the Spacebridge/Groundbridge Builder (who has joined Bumblebee’s side…)

Ratchet the Medic (who quits the Autobots, after learning that they refuse to fix Arcee’s mind…)

Prowl the Ninja (who was betrayed by Yoketron…)

*Optimus also adopts:

Grimlock and the other Dinobots

Soundwave

Wreck-Gar

Constructicons

Slipstream and the other Starscream Clones

*Optimus is honestly gets more respect with the Decepticons, then he ever did with his fellow Autobots…

💛💚💙 Elita One and Sentinel Prime:

*Elita and Sentinel both blame the other for Optimus’ death.

*However, they’re honestly both responsible: It was Sentinel’s idea to go to Archa 7, Elita agreed with the idea and they peer pressure Optimus into joining them on their adventure… and then later, Elita took a resisting Sentinel to leave Optimus behind during the energon explosion.

*They argued loudly with each other during their whole trial, which eventually leads to Ultra Magnus and Alpha Trion expelling them both.

*When Ultra Magnus gave them their new job as Spacebridge Repair Autobots, he made Elita the one in charge.

*Elita and Sentinel became super bitter with each other.

*Fortunately, the bitterness slowly fades over time, but they still haven’t completely forgiven each other yet.

*Their Autobot Spacebridge Repair Team:

Arcee (who’s their medic that mostly can’t remember the war and all that she recalls is pieces of her life before the war and also a medic that tried to help her during the war before she got her amnesia…)

Jazz (who wanted to take a break from being a ninja warrior…)

Wasp (who got expelled from Bootcamp for constantly being a jerk and uncooperative with others…)

*Rodimus becomes Ultra Magnus’ Commander, instead of Sentinel.

*Rodimus idolized Optimus, so he’s angry at Elita and Sentinel for being indirectly responsible for his ‘death’.

*Kup (the mentor of Optimus/Elita/Sentinel/Rodimus) tries to convince Rodimus to forgive Elita and Sentinel.

*Other then being bitter with Elita/Sentinel, Rodimus is actually a great bot to be around.

*When Megatron got defeated by Elita and Earth’s atmosphere, Optimus was sparkbroken and became depressed but stayed strong for the Decepticon Cause, becoming the Decepticons’ Leader for 50 stellar cycles.

💙🔑💙 Sari Sumdac And The Humans:

*When Sari meets the Autobots, Elita One became her favorite and she sees the Autobot Leader as a big sister.

*Sari didn’t like Sentinel or Wasp at first, but when they became nicer and apologized, she forgives them.

*Jazz loves human music and trends, so Sari teaches Jazz everything she knows about both.

*Arcee is like the Mom that Sari never had, but always wanted.

*Sari becomes the glue that keeps the whole team together.

*Professor Isaac Sumdac (Sari’s Dad) likes all the Autobots (even Sentinel), meanwhile Fanzone and Sentinel become each other’s worst enemy.

*Surprisingly, Sentinel is a fan favorite among the humans and the children keep trying to touch him. (Much to Sentinel’s horror and Elita’s delight…)

💔🕷💔 A ‘Happy’ Reunion Between ‘Friends’:

*When Optimus arrives on Earth and reunites with both Elita and Sentinel, the rage he felt when they left him behind reignited, causing him to attack them.

*However, Optimus does have a soft spot for Sari Sumdac.

*And has mixed feelings for Sari’s dad. (Who used Megatron’s corpse to create his advanced earth robots…)

*Optimus wants Sari’s Allspark Key to restore Megatron to his body. (Which Megatron asked him to do, through a special private message…)

*But the Key sticks itself to Optimus in an attempt to cure him of his organic half, which leads to the Key slowly draining the organic life out of Sari and Detroit, much to Optimus’ as well as the Autobots’ horror.

*When Sentinel frees Optimus from the Key’s power, Elita offers to help find him a cure and return him to his old self.

*This angers Optimus, cause he believes his old self was a total pushover that allowed Elita, Sentinel and even Ultra Magnus, to use him like he’s their puppet.

*Optimus tells Elita and Sentinel that he doesn’t wish to be cured, he just wants to bring back the first person who he believes truly respected and cared about him (Megatron).

*It’ll be a long time before he can trust the Autobots or his former friends again.

*Sari feels sorry for Optimus and secretly wishes to be his friend…

*When Megatron is completely restored, the first thing he does is give Optimus the biggest hug!
