Bakugo x Reader: Confession
Summary: After Bakugoâs mental breakdown with Midoriya outside the dorms, you take it upon yourself to get him to open up. Of course it isnât easy, but you two had known each other for years. Bakugo realises how he really feels and claims you as his own.
Rating: SFW
Genre: Fluff, angst, lime
Word Count: 4.7k
A/n: I love comfort fluff and tending to wound tropes... and I also used the headcanon that Bakugo needs hearing aids, so that is included in this fic. Iâm also sorry about the slow updates... Iâll have some headcanons out for haikyuu in the new future so stay tuned!

The crisp night air flooded through the open windows as you held a warm drink in your chilly hands. A fluffy blank landed on your shoulders as Mina deposited them off to everyone. You shifted yourself to meet Minaâs extraordinary eyes, nodding in thanks. Mina returned with a cheery smile of her own.
All the girls of 1A populated the couches, basking in the much needed warmth. A few boys sat amongst you, such as Kaminari, Kirishima, Ojiro, and Sero. Mineta desperately cried for help, wrapped in a cocoon of Seroâs tape after a perverted comment directed at Momo. Todoroki did as he always did, awkwardly standing slightly adjacent to the lively group, a keen but kind eye flickering between classmates as they contributed to the conversation.
âEveryone!â Iida marched up to your group, âLeaving the windows open in this weather is incredibly irresponsible! You will all get a cold!â His rapidly chopping hands paused momentarily to hurriedly pull all the windows shut.
âThanks, emergency exit!â Kirishima waved at the class representative. A satisfied expression washed over Iidaâs face.
You rolled your eyes, slightly smiling at them, before taking a prolonged sip of your warm beverage. Without spilling it, you pulled your legs up on the couch to cross them.
The class was happily celebrating a successful hero licensing exam. All but Bakugo and Todoroki. Hagakure and Momo had insisted they could join you too. It didnât surprise you that Todoroki showed up but Bakugo didnât, for one of them took it a lot worse than the other.
Bakugo was your childhood friend, knowing him since forever. There wasnât a time you didnât know each other, but not quite outdating him knowing Midoriya. You never really announced yourselves as âfriendsâ, per se. It more so happened by consistently interacting, never really introducing yourselves. One of those friendships that âjust happenedâ, neither of you remembering when you really met each other. Turns out, your mothers had been friends for years prior.
As you two grew older, and Bakugo became more and more like... himself, you did not condemn for anything he would say to Midoriya, being quirkless. Luckily, you happened to manifest a fairly powerful quirk, so he never judged you for it. He could never find himself to explode at you whenever you told him to back off. He may yell, but it never went further than petty insults. Of course, Mitsuki would have been appalled with him if he did. She definitely had a soft spot for you.
Once starting at UA, Bakugoâs ego slowly but surely began to deflate. He began to obtain standards, something that surprised you plenty. You noticed how he acted around Kirishima. That was when you realised the difference between how he treated all his peers. He seemed to rank them - most worthy of his friendship and time to least. Upon witnessing Kirishima - someone pretty high in those âranksâ - interact with him, you noticed the outside perspective. How nice he was to you and Kirishima, compared to people like Midoriya.
Eventually, you grew an odd feeling in your chest whenever he showed up to class. Top buttons undone and without a tie. Or when you caught a glimpse of his ember swirling eyes. Not to mention during training, rocking up in that hero costume of his.
You even began to play a little game. Testing him to see how long you could pester, order, or genuinely annoy him before he literally exploded at you. More and more of late, that time stretched. Unfortunately, your little experiment didnât go unnoticed. All the girls of 1A knew, questioning you about it. You passed it off as something you thought would be funny. Only Mina saw right through you. She knew you liked him and constantly teased you about it to no end. Midoriya and Kirishima were the only others to notice you pushing his buttons more than usual lately.
Urarakaâs voice broke through your elaborate train of thought, âY/N...â
âYeah?â You answered.
âDo you have any idea where Deku is?â Her voice trembled slightly, her cheeks going slightly pinker as she rubbed the back of her neck. She couldnât be more obvious about her crush on Midoriya, so you had nothing to worry about. âHe hasnât come back since Bakugo said he wanted to talk to him. Iâm kind of worried about him.â
A huff left your lips, âIn all honesty, I am too. Thereâs no telling what Bakugo wanted to talk to him about.â
âHe might be seeking girl advice,â Mina chimed in, sending a sly wink in your direction.
You immediately took a long sip of your drink, hoping the cup hid your slight blush as you furrowed your eyebrows at Mina.
âI highly doubt it,â Tsuyu placed a finger to her chin in thought, âIâm not sure that Bakugo would need that kind of advice. Especially not from Midoriya.â Your gaze fell.
âHe probably wants to kill him,â Jirou shrugged her shoulders, taking a sip from her own drink.
Jirouâs comment silenced the group of 1A girls. Only condescending sipping of drinks and the guys chattering filled your ears. Your attention left your drink to the sound of shuffling feet approaching. Bright yellow eyes met yours when the source of the shuffling feet sat beside you.
âLadies,â Kaminariâs smooth voice wooed as he rested his arms on the back of the couch, âWhatâre you guys talking about?â
Dyed red hair, held up by a graphic bandana, flashed your peripheral vision as Kirishima took a seat next to you. He pouted slightly when you flashed him an almost sarcastic smile. The pout couldnât mask that he could see right through you. Worry for Bakugo plagued your mind. There was no doubt Midoriya had improved his ability to use his quirk. If Bakugo had indeed wanted to fight him, he definitely underestimated him.
âIâm sure heâs just in bed, Y/N,â Kirishima placed a hand on your shoulder, âIt is way past eight-thirty.â
You stifled a small giggle, nodding at Kirishimaâs words and mentally thanked him for his optimistic nature. You continued to sip your drink in silence, occasionally tuning in to Mina and Kaminariâs chaotic conversation. Overall, you felt the homeliness of this family created through 1A. A homeliness soon to be destroyed.
A loud bang caused everyone to close their mouths, the worst case scenario filled your head. Luckily, when you followed it to its source, it came to a slammed door. An easy answer came to your mind; the wind. However, standing before the door stood Bakugo and Midoriya. Both definitely looking a bit rough around the edges. A gauze on each cheek, they looked defeated. They refused to reach each otherâs eyes, or any other pair staring them.
You cautiously planted your cup on the coaster before you, as if you were afraid of agitating Bakugo, easily spotting the anger and emotion in his ruby eyes.
âBakugo and Midoriya!â Iida rushed over to them in a flash, his arms chopping up and down in anger, âWhere on earth have you been? Why do you look like you just got into another brawl with some villains?â
âShut the hell up, four-eyes,â Bakugo snapped, grumbling to himself. He stuffed his hands into his pockets, before storming past the couches.
Before anyone could stop you, you leapt to your feet. Your drink left behind, you rushed after Bakugo. The blanket around your shoulders flowed behind you like a cape, you called out to the angry blond, âBakugo!â
Bakugo ignored you, continuing up the stairs. Hurriedly, you sped up the stairs and overtook him.
Your body blocked his, âBakugo, what the hell happened?â
His head continued to hang low, his blond hair falling to obscure his eyes from view as you desperately tried to meet them. Scratches, grazes and cuts littered his face and arms, some covered up with gauze. The two gauzes on his cheeks mirrored each other, lightly stained in blood. Dust and dirt smudged up his arms; his wounds werenât properly cleaned. His hands stuffed in his baggy sweatpants shook slightly, from both physical and emotional pain.
âShut up, Y/N,â Bakugoâs wavering voice protested, failing at any attempted aggression, âI donât need to tell you shit.â
You heaved in a shaky breath, âTrue, but I want to know. I might be able to help you.â
âYou canât help me,â his voice raised, causing you to step back. You really wished you could see his eyes, to see what kind of pain he was in.
âYou wonât know that until you tell me whatâs wrong,â you sighed, trying your best to stay calm and not snap back.
âGet out of my way...â
Bakugo harshly barged his shoulder into yours, causing you to stumble to the side slightly. You stepped after him as he continued to his dorm, the most likely place you imagined he would storm off to. You caught up again, flinging an arm out in front of him. His warm, sweaty hand latched onto your forearm. Your heart skipped a beat, relishing the ironically soft touch.
However, the softness of his touch contradicted his tone, âY/N, move... right now...â
âBakugo!â You cried, not afraid of the slightly startled boy before you.Â
You didnât budge or flinch as you laced your fingers between the ones he gripped onto your forearm with. With a soft touch, you lifted his chin upwards to get a perfect view of his face.Â
His cut up face held the softest expression you had ever seen. No crease sat between his eyebrows, grazes over his forehead. The gauzes taped to his cheeks hid the worst of his face injuries, letting a small amount of blood to seep through it. His eyes glistened with tears, about to be spilt. They stung red, from previous tears.
Katsuki Bakugo stood before you, with tears in his eyes.
The Katsuki Bakugo.
âYou can tell me, you know,â You hushed, once his bloodshot eyes met your sympathetic ones, âIâve always been there for you, like when you got your hearing aids.â
One hand still holding his, you let the other one slip up to expose the small black device in his left ear. It wrapped around the back, resting behind his ear. A soft sympathetic smile graced your features, as Bakugo squeezed his eyes shut. He entered a vulnerable state, allowing you to wrap an arm around his lower neck and pull him into a hug.
âPlease...â You whispered, âItâs better if you let it all out.â
Bakugo awkwardly stepped out of the hug, slipping his hand out of your grip. His eyebrows creased again, squinting his eyes to hold back any tears. He shoved his hands into his pockets, and refused to meet your eyes again.
âIâm just fucking pissed!â He raised his voice again, âIâm pissed at myself. At damn Deku! How did he become someone so damn special? And I didnât!? When I finally get fucking recognised for something... itâs because IÂ ended All Might! Why me?â
Your breath hitched. All of Bakugoâs pain unloaded onto you. All Mightâs end happened a small while ago. He held this guilt in for that long? No wonder he was angry. In a way, you felt privileged and relieved Bakugo opened up to you. You always tried to be there for him. You wished you could have been there earlier, to stop him ever feeling like this in the first place.
âBakugo...â You hushed his uneven breathing. It almost sounded like he was about to have a panic attack, âYou couldnât have prevented it. No one knew that it was going to happen. The last person who should be blaming themselves is you.â
âI could have done something! All I did was stand and watch. I left as soon as I saw you call out to me. Damn it!â
âLook at me, Bakugo,â digging into his pockets, you removed his hands from them and held them in your own, âIf you didnât leave when I called you, not only All Might would have ended. You would have too. And I donât know what I would ever do if you did.â
A sharp inhale came from Bakugoâs parted lips, before he trailed off, âDa-damn it...â
âI care about you, Baku,â you let your thumbs run small uncoordinated circles on the back of his warm veiny hands. You couldnât force yourself to look into his eyes, afraid of how he would respond. âI care more than you can ever imagine.â
âI- I-, fuck...â He couldnât form sentences, let alone words. You, of course, couldnât blame him. Not only because of his current emotional state, but you knew it would take a little bit more to get something so sincere out of Bakugo.
âItâs okay,â you finally met his red eyes, trying to mask the glossiness of your own, âItâs okay if you donât return my feelings... I wonât take it too harshly.â
A small cocky grin slid its way onto Bakugoâs disheartened features, âWho said I didnât, baka.â
Little giggles left your mouth as you wrapped your arms around his neck. A newfound sense of confidence filled you. Not only did you let the burden of your confession lift off your chest, but he reciprocated the feelings. You couldnât wait to tell Mina all about it.
âNow...â All sadness and sorrow had drained from Bakugo, a sudden huskiness melted off his words, âLet me claim you as mine.â
âWait, wha-â Without warning, Bakugo cut you off by pushing you forward towards the elevator at the end of the corridor. A small laugh left you again upon witnessing the determination - no matter what it was for - return to Bakugo. The Katsuki Bakugo you knew and loved was back.
Without letting go of your wrist, Bakugo frantically pressed the elevator button, âHurry up, you damn elevator!â
âYelling at it want make it come faster, you know.â
âShut up, Y/N.â
Once the elevator pinged, the doors slid open. Bakugo rushed you inside, turning around to watch as the doors slid shut again. No words were spoken, both of you urgently watching the elevator travel up to the level his dorm stood located in. You adjusted your hand in Bakugoâs grip, only for him to squeeze your hand tighter. The small action caused a tiny smile to tug at your lips in satisfaction. Damn, it felt good to finally have him.
The travelling between the elevator and Bakugoâs dorms happened so quickly it was all a blur. The only thing you knew was the sound of the door slamming behind you, before you were back up against the wall beside it.
Bakugoâs rough, calloused hands pinned your wrists to your side. There was no time to protest before the gap between you two closed. Your lips roughly fought against his a loosing battle. His lips felt chapped but soft at the same time. The taste of nitroglycerin lingered between your lips, the smell of caramel wafting into your nostrils. His hands let go of your wrists, finding a new home firmly on your hips only to press you further against the wall. Hands now free, they rushed into his hair. Silky blond locks weaved in and out of your fingers before you ran them down his neck to grip his shoulders.
The tickling of his tongue on your bottom lip begged your lips open, allowing it to slip inside your mouth. You desperately fought against his rough movements, only to lose. He took complete dominance as he slipped a knee between your thighs and propped you even further up the wall. In retaliation, you wrapped your legs around his waist, so he supported your full weight. Your crotch shamelessly pressed against his lower abdomen.
A gasp left your mouth as his warm hands glided up your curves and beneath your shirt. Bakugoâs skilled fingers ran patterns on the soft skin of your back, sending countless satisfied shivers up your spine. Your mouths continued to move in sink as his fingers slid along the skin just beneath your bra. The moan that escaped your mouth sent a wicked smirk onto Bakugoâs lips. Without warning, Bakugoâs lips left yours and attached to the soft skin of your jaw. You tilted your head to the side to give him more access to trail kisses down the curve of your neck. At the same time, one of his hands ran to the clasp of your bra. He fiddled with it, desperately trying to unclasp it before he gave up and detached his warm mouth from your neck.
âDamn it,â his warm moist breath tickled your neck, âHow does this shitty thing work?â
You let a laugh leave your lips as you arched your back for your own hands to slip up your shirt. In an instant, you had detached it. The bra lacked straps, causing it to immediately drop to the floor.
A growl left Bakugo as he began sucking on the soft flesh of your neck. His warm, wet tongue pressed and flicked against it. The occasional sensation of his teeth grazing over your neck made a shiver slide up your spine. Bakugoâs large hands travelled back to the front, fanning over you exposed breasts. They travelled over them until he lightly fondled them in his hand, squeezing gently. Your hands on his shoulders quickly gripped onto the fabric of his black tank top. One of his thumbs flicked over your hardened nipple, causing his name to fall from your mouth in a pleasurable moan.
Bakugo greedily grunted, whispering against your neck, âYeah, I like that, Y/N...â
His tongue continued to trail over your skin, sucking and flicking until he pulled away. Your eyes fluttered open, leaning down to press your forehead against his. Slowly, Bakugoâs hands trailed back down your sides and pulled out of your shirt. Your feet made it safely back down to the ground. When you attempted to meet Bakugoâs eyes, you found them trailing over purple bruises covering your neck, continuing up to the start of your jaw.
âNow youâre mine,â Bakugo brought you into a safe hug, letting you rest your head into the crevice of his neck. Your eyes squeezed shut again, delving yourself completely into his sent of caramel.
âAs far as first kisses go,â you teased, letting a cheeky grin slide onto your face, âthat wasnât half bad.â
âDamn well, it wasnât half bad!â His voice lifted higher, a familiar angry tone taking over. An even bigger smile came to your face once you realised he had almost completely forgotten the predicament he was in previously. âThat better have been the best kiss ever!â
A little string of laughs left you, âYeah, yeah. It was the best. You got me there.â
The silence continued for a little longer, until Bakugo retreated out of the hug. He cleared his throat before turning away from you. You took the opportunity to rush to his mirror, observing the damage he had done. A dozen or so purple hickies littered across your neck. They travelled all the way to your jaw and almost your ears. It would take a lot of foundation to cover those up, you thought.
âIâm definitely yours, it seems,â you turned to Bakugo, who only grunted, âI almost look as beat up as you.â
âIâm fine,â came his reply.
âYou still need to clean those wounds and cover them up.â
âI donât need Recovery Girl.â
âNo, we shouldnât bother Recovery Girl right now. Iâd be happy to do it for you in the girls bathroom. Mr Aizawa is long gone, donât worry about him catching us.â
âWhat about your annoying extras?â
âIf any of the girls come in, Iâm sure theyâll understand and make a pretty quick exit. I promise.â
Bakugo huffed in reply as you tilted your head in the direction of the door. You made your way to the door. As you reached out for the door handle, a bundle of black was thrown at you.
âCover up, damn it,â Bakugo shoved his hands in his pockets and joined you by the door, âYou donât even have a bra on.â
âOh, yeah,â you hurriedly unfolded the black clothing item, to find it was one of Bakugoâs plain black hoodies. You slipped it over your head and let it drop down a little further than your hoodies usually would. Caramel scent engulfed you, making it clear it hadnât been washed since the last wear. Normally, that would disgust you, but it was your boyfriendâs. You plotted how long you were going to hold onto it in your head as you bundled the hood around your neck.
You gestured to yourself, only to receive a shrug from Bakugo. The shrug couldnât hide the tiny reddish tint on his cheeks from the sight of you in his clothes. A victorious smile made it to your face, and you opened the door.
The journey to the girlâs bathrooms was uninterrupted. You led him there, linking pinkies the whole way. He hesitated to walk through the door, after all it was the female bathroom. The door shut suddenly behind you as you pointed Bakugo to sit on the bathroom counter. Swinging open the cabinet above the sink, you pulled out a small box of first aid supplies. You placed you hands on your hips after allocating the box a spot next to Bakugo.
âTake your shirt off,â you demanded, the authoritative tone desperately hiding the redness of your ears.
âWhy?â Bakugo grumbled, mocking you with arms crossed.
âSo I can see if you have any further injuries,â You opened the first aid box, pulling out a dry rag. Out of the corner of your eye, you spied Bakugo lifting his tank top over his head to reveal his toned chest and abs as you ran cold water over the rag. Wringing it of excess water, you turned to see him checking himself over for any injuries.
âNothing,â Bakugo bluntly replied.
âYes, but your ribs are bruised,â you pointed at the green patches of flesh along his sides. The mirror didnât indicate any wounds or bruises on his back. Without warning, you dragged the moist rag over the bruises. A few droplets of water rolled down his chiseled stomach as he pulled back.
âThat shit is cold!â Bakugo exclaimed, âIâm getting wet now, damn it!â
âItâs a rag with water, what did you expect?â You hummed, continuing to trace the bruised ribs softly with the rag. You leaned over the counter to grab hold of his closest hand, resting your sover it. âStay still.â
Once you had finished, you gently gripped one of his forearms. The cloth traced his skin, washing it clean. You had to scrub it softly at some points, but avoided any of the open grazes and cuts. You travelled the cloth to run over his biceps, this time lightly dabbing at the largest graze. Your skilled hands couldnât hide the blush on your face, especially with his fiery eyes watching your every move. They occasionally shifted to your concentrated features.
The cloth quickly passed over his shoulders and chest, before repeating the process on his other arm. This one wasnât as scratched up as the other, making your job a lot simpler. Once you finished, you took a step back over to the sink.
âYouâre probably gonna hate what Iâm about to do,â you sighed, wringing out the rag after rinsing it.
âWhat are you gonna do?â He demanded, less agitated than he usually would be.
You didnât answer with words but with your actions. Stopping the dripping of the rag, you dragged it around the gauze on his cheek. His hand swiped up, grabbing your wrist and pulling my hand away from his face.
âDie shitty rag! How dare you come near my face!â
A full hearted laugh left your lips, your head tilting back, âIâm trying to help you, baka. Please let me.â
Bakugo studied your face for a short while, until he ripped his eyes away, âFine.â He left his cheek exposed, letting you place the rag back onto it. All the dust and ash had been scrubbed from his cheeks and nose. You softly dragged the rag over his forehead, softly dabbing it over a shallow graze. Once, your hand pulled away, you leaned up to place a soft kiss on his forehead.
âAre you done?â Bakugo rolled his eyes, pressing his bare back against the mirror.
You shook your head, âNope. Not even close.â You placed the damp rag in the sink, digging around in the first aid box again. Bakugo groaned in annoyance, causing you to smile and shake your head again.
Cold plastic slipped between your finger tips - a small bottle of antiseptic. Pulling it out, you placed a few cotton balls next to it. Carefully, you dropped a small amount of antiseptic onto the cotton ball. You lifted it towards Bakugo, who grimaced at the sight.
âI canât promise this wonât hurt,â you hissed in empathy, hesitantly detaching he hand from the counter. Pulling his arm closer, you dabbed the cotton ball onto one of the shallow grazes on his forearm.
Bakugo immediately pulled back, âAntiseptic can die!â You smiled, knowing that was his way of saying that it stung.
âItâs gonna sting a little bit,â you rolled your eyes, âI did tell you that.â
Your hand swiped out to grab his wrist in it again as he constantly ripped it away, âKatsuki Bakugo! Itâll get infected and hurt even more if you donât let me do this!â You exclaimed in a playful seriousness.
âSay that again,â the grimace on Bakugo!s face dropped, his features now softer.
âItâll get infected?â
âNo, baka. My name.â
âYour name? Katsuki Bakugo?â
The smirk on his face now unmistakable, he placed a hand on your waist, âYeah, call me Katsuki. I like when you say my name.â
A similar smirk crossed your face as you placed a hand over his on your waist. Without warning him, you took the cotton ball and frantically dabbed it onto the next graze. Katsuki grunted, whipping his arm out of your reach.
His eyes remained glued in the victimised graze, âWhat the hell? That was a dirty trick!â
âIt worked, though,â you replied, drenching a new cotton ball in antiseptic, âThatâs all that matters.â
âWhatever.â
Eventually, he gave up fighting against you, allowing you to finish applying antiseptic to grazes and cuts on his arms and shoulders without much fuss. You left the injuries covered by the gauze on his cheeks alone, immediately tending to the largest and most tender graze on his forehead. With your free hand, you pushed back his blond hair that shaded it. You kept that hand lovingly caressing the start of his hairline, while the other hesitantly dabbed at the graze.
Katsuki hissed through his teeth, causing you to slip your hand down the side of his face. You held his cheek in your palm and sent him an apologetic look.
âIâm sorry,â you placed the cotton ball down into the small pile of used ones under Katsukiâs observant gaze.
âI think Iâm going to leave that one exposed. It needs to dry out to heal properly,â you explained thoroughly. A grunt left Katsuki as you pulled out more gauzes and a roll of bandage.
After a silent moment, you had successfully wrapped up his entire right forearm in a bandage. A large gauze covered a wide but shallow graze on his left shoulder and a couple of smaller ones littered over some small ones on his left bicep.
As you began to quietly pack up the first aid box, you felt a pair of arms slide around your waist. You stood on your tippy-toes to place it back in the cabinet, only for the limbs to wrap around you tighter. Katsukiâs breathtaking red eyes met yours in the reflection of the mirror, where you swayed in his arms in contentment.
âWhen Iâm let off this shitty house arrest,â Katsuki grumbled into your marked neck from your previous activities, âIâm taking you out.â
âYeah,â you laughed, leaning your head against his, âIâd love to, Katsuki.â
âIt wasnât a choice.â
A giggle left your lips, leaving both of you happy as you stood in each otherâs arms.
Is it possible for you to write a oneshot or headcannons, whichever you feel more comfortable doing, for domestic shinso? Like how the relationship is during their time in UA and after? I hope this makes sense!đđđ
Hi! Thank you for requesting! I wrote this as headcanons with a mini scenario at the end of it, I hope thatâs alright! Iâm a Shinso simp so this went a little out of proportion đ
Genre: Fluff, Domestic
Rating: SFW
Word Count: 2k

Before UA Dorms:
- Â Â Â While you were in UA, Shinso tried his hardest to spent time with you
- Â Â Â Both of you were so busy, especially with you in the hero course and Shinso training privately with Aizawa to transfer into the hero course too (preferably your class)
- Â Â Â Before the dorms were instigated, heâd sleep at your place, crashing after training with your teacher
- Â Â Â You would have most likely returned from training too, both of you crashing on your living room couch after a refreshing shower
- Â Â Â Shinso is a gift-giver, heâd show up to your how every time with something small to show his appreciation for you
- Â Â Â The most occurring gift is little air fresheners shaped like a cat you hang above your desk â each one has a different scent from the last
- Â Â Â The time would be spent watching movies, making fruit smoothies, and looking at cat videos
- Â Â Â Occasionally (a whole lot, actually) heâd âlose track of timeâ and have to stay all night, not that your parents minded at all â they loved him
- Â Â Â There was something about his maturity, wit, sleepiness, and determination that made him so charming
- Â Â Â The nights he would stay heâd let your head rest of his chest or on his shoulder, depending on how big your bed is
- Â Â Â You knew he didnât sleep much, feeling guilty that you were sprawled all over him
- Â Â Â He always insisted he loved your warmth, it not only soothing him to get a few winks or that it reassured him that you were there
- Â Â Â Bike rides were a must almost every morning he was at your place
- Â Â Â Heâd lead you through his favourite parks to cycle around then stop for an iced coffee before heading back home
- Â Â Â The two of you soon noticed just how much time he spent at yours, and so little you went to his house, so you began to shake it up a bit
In the Dorms:
- Â Â Â The two of you certainly used the dorms as an excuse to spend even more time together
- Â Â Â It was so easy to crash in each otherâs room, either after training or if you were bored on a weekend
- Â Â Â His dorm was the regular, maybe it was the gradually growing collection of stray kittens hiding under his bed that made you so eager to join him
- Â Â Â You certainly didnât mind the walk from Heroâs Alliance to his building
- Â Â Â Routine changed once again when he transferred into the hero course and moved into your dorm
- Â Â Â Instead of hiding away in one of your dorms, you felt more comfortable lingering into the common room
- Â Â Â The common room was your domain at night, either you were binging a series together, baking a midnight snack, letting his kittens roam free for a while, or a combination of them all
- Â Â Â Aizawa constantly got the two of you in trouble for being too noisy or finding you both crashed on the couch in a pile of pillows with a kitten or two sleeping on top
- Â Â Â Shinso always managed to create an excuse, or take the punishment for the two of you
- Â Â Â You were completely aware of Shinsoâs relationship with your teacher and were kind of thankful for it
- Â Â Â As Shinso slowly began to make friends from your class, they began to hang out with you
- Â Â Â He couldnât handle all the noise e for that amount of time in the common room
- Â Â Â Thatâs the time when you began to hide out in your dorm again, sprawled on the floor, bed or couch to relax and sleep
- Â Â Â Youâd study or read while Shinso would fall asleep on your lap â he loves how soft you are, no matter your body type
As Pros:
- Â Â Â The day be popped the question that you should move into an apartment together was when you were both very settled in your hero careers
- Â Â Â He had grown in so many ways, not only as a hero, but as a person and he definitely got more handsome
- Â Â Â Your apartment was humble, and you two finally owned as cat
- Â Â Â You gifted it to him for his birthday the year you moved in
- Â Â Â Shinso continued to take after his teacher, becoming an underground hero
- Â Â Â This meant that he was constantly out at night, receiving even less sleep than he used to
- Â Â Â Although, you supported him, his wellbeing will continue to be the most important thing in your relationship
Sizzling of the pan over the stove crackled up as you flipped the pork  in the oil. Your spatula dug up the frying pieces, gathering the frying oil that splattered when you flipped the crumbed pork. The oil splashed up towards you, landing on the apron that wrapped around your waist. The rest of the meal had been prepared, awaiting the pork to sit on top.
You patiently waiting for Hitoshi to arrive home in the early hours of the morning. Sure, you could have gone to sleep and had breakfast with him in the morning. However, something was keeping you awake, the urge to give Hitoshi a proper meal urged you to cook at 3am.
Hours ago, you had your own meal after arriving home from patrol as Hitoshi headed towards the door. Your schedules crashed too often, only being able to spend a few fleeting moments when heâd accidentally wake you up when he arrived home. Spending those few hours of sleep before you then had to get up for your hero work definitely didnât make up for lost time. Especially when Hitoshi is called in for a daytime mission as well.
No matter how many times you would tell him to catch up on sleep during the day, you know for a fact he didnât. The amount of times he had sped past on his bike, shoving a bouquet of flowers into your arms. He definitely received an angry text from you saying that he should be resting soon after. You would also know whenever heâd been training with Aizawa, because your old teacher constantly updated you on his progress. It was also painfully obvious when he was working out at home, weights, a yoga mat, and his towel would never be packed away properly when you got home.
Now, you focused on lifting the pan off the stove, sitting it down next to the bowl of rice. You only made one serving, you not being hungry enough to eat a full meal. The eggs you had prepared were mixed into the rice, the sauce seeping into it. Scooping the crumbed pork up with the spatula, you placed them on top.
A soft click sounded from the other side of your apartment door. Jingling keys caused a smile to arise on your lips, which took over your tired face as the door swung open.
Dark violet hair was the first thing you saw, the crazy tufts drooping slightly with a mix of sweat and rain. His voice changing device hung around his neck and his bag rested on his shoulder. The black hero suit he adorned was slightly damp, unzipped at the front so a small section of his heaving chest was visible.
âHitoshi, sweetheart,â you called out, âI have dinner for you.â
Hitoshiâs nose was the first to perk up, the small of his meal caused a growing smile on his face. His tired eyes met yours, sighing dramatically when he saw you.
âWhy are you awake, kitten?â His husky voice grumbled, âBut, is that katsudon?â
You ignored, his first question, not wanting to make this about you, âYes, it is. Come eat.â
He etched over to the counter, discarding parts of his hero attire as he approached. Dropping his bag at his feet, he gently placed his voice changer on top. His capture scarf was unwrapped and tossed over the couch, along with his utility belt. Hitoshi almost collapsed onto the stool by the kitchen bench, immediately digging into the food.
Watching silently, you untied your apron and leaned against the bench. Your chin resting in your palms, your soft eyes gazed over Hitoshiâs features. You couldnât wait to marry him.
Happily, Hitoshi chewed his dinner, not breaking eyes contact with you ever. You reached a hand out to cup the side of his face, running your thumb over the growing purple eyebags underneath his half-lidded eyes. Unable to contain your worry, your eyebrows furrowed and your lips pouted.
âWhatâs wrong?â Hitoshi asked, âWhy are you making that face, kitty?â
You retracted your hand, only for Hitoshiâs hand to catch it softly.
âYou need to stop overworking yourself,â you whispered, âBaby, youâre running on three hours of sleep everyday and are constantly being active when you have free time. You need to take care of yourself and relax once in a while. Iâve been thinking of requesting to change my patrol time so we get time to ourselves. I suggest you do the same so you donât come back so late.â
Hitoshi groaned; you knew you would get a similar reaction. However, it wasnât of annoyance or because he was disagreeing. It almost seemed relieved.
After dropping his chopsticks, Hitoshi grabbed your other hand and brought them both to his face. Your hands held his cheeks gently, Hitoshi melting into them with a sigh. His eyes closed, dropping his hands so they rubbed your forearms up and down.
The slight purple stubble on his jaw prickled at your hand as you glided your thumbs over his cheekbones. You let out an adoring laugh, the pout on your lips only showed you empathy towards Hitoshi.
For a moment you thought he was asleep, but he spoke up, âI thought youâd never say that. For a moment I thought you didnât care about me.â
      âHey.â
You tilted his head up so his eyes that fell open would look into your own. Even though you knew he was teasing you by that dumb smirk across his lips, you couldnât help but take the opportunity to scold him.
âIt doesnât look like you care about yourself so someone has to do it. And you know what the best selfcare is?â
      âWhat is it?â
âGrabbing the cat and coming to sleep with me in bed.â
âI donât feel like sleeping right now.â
âWhat do you mean? You look like a mess.â
âI want sleepy cuddles. I canât enjoy your cuddles when Iâm asleep, now, can I?â
You groaned, lifting your hands off his face and letting it drop. For a moment you thought you gave him whiplash so you mumbled a quick, âOh, sorry.â
Hitoshi recovered, rubbing the back of his neck, âWe can grab the cat and watch Netflix for a couple hours.â
âBut itâs like 3am. The sun will be rising by the time two hours is up.â
âThen, we both call in sick. You donât patrol during the day and I wonât go out at night. How does that sound?â
âAs long as we get some sleep tomorrow night.â
When Hitoshi agreed, you smiled in success. This signposted the place when you only worked every two days. Hitoshi would work one night, then youâd work the following day. It worked like a treat. Heâd always be home when you returned from patrol and never had to leave immediately after. Youâd always have a late lunch together and heâs come back earlier too. The mornings you worked youâd find him sleeping soundly next to you, giving him a quick kiss as a goodbye.
The time you both didnât work was time the both of you spent together. Whether you lounged at home, or went out somewhere. You left all the housework to the night he was working, not wanting to bore him with it. It got to the point when you didnât care what he did when you worked, finding that he would be resting enough to not burn himself out again. Occasionally, youâd return to find heâd folded some clothes or cleaned the cat litter for you. Â
You definitely noticed how he perked up with his extra rest, learning more and more about him every day. This led to the two of you dating for another two years before he finally popped the real question. Whether or not you two had kids was entirely up to you, and that was another can of worms waiting to beÂ
Drabble: Hawks x Reader
Prompt:Â âIâm scared. What if someone finds out about us?â
A/N: First time writing hawks?? đ And this is a little all over the place

You knew exactly what you were getting into when you decided to date him. The number 2 hero with a swarm of responsibilities, enemies and fans all at the same time. He was so special and you were a civilian. A nobody.
If you were honest, you knew Hawks liked it better than way. He felt that you couldnât get hurt, but there was the fear of you getting hurt because you werenât a hero. When you started dating him, you never realised that you suddenly became an everybody.
No one knew about you, and the both of you wanted to keep it that way. It had been almost a year of you two hiding this secret from everyone you knew, especially the media. Even Hawks warned you of what the Hero Public Safety Commission would say or do if they were to be informed.
The best thing you could do was spend nights together such as this one. With his busy schedule, the middle of the night was almost the only time he could wind down.
When it was time to do so, heâd call you on his way home to tell you how long he was going to be and how much heâs looking forward to see you.
After receiving the call youâd get to work preparing him some chicken to eat and a nest of pillows on the bed. According to him, you never arranged the pillows quite right. However, you just wanted to show that you cared for him.
Right now, he was snug in the nest he had to shift around, playfully scolding you for not being able to do it right. A blanket was folded over you, his wings tucked carefully behind him. A finished bucket of chicken was left abandoned on the bedside table.
Hawks cooed softly in your arms, his handsome face hidden in the crook of your neck. You held the back of his head softly, threading your fingers through his tussled but silky blond hair. His arms were loose around your waist, legs tangled between yours.
âHawks?â You whispered, unsure if he was still awake.
A soft but low hum vibrated against your throat.
âDo you care if Iâm a nobody?â You asked, allowing for your question to slip out.
âNope,â Hawks mumbled, adjusting how his face pressed against your neck.
âOkay... but what if I couldnât save myself from villains that came after me knowing theyâd get to you?â
Hawks gave another hushed answer, âThen they would have got to me, because Iâd come and save you, little birdie.â
You nodded, hesitantly, guilt building up.
âWouldnât it be better if I got myself out of the situation? I donât want you to get dragged into things because of me.â
âAnd I donât want you to get dragged into things because of me.â
Hawks drew his face out of your neck, wriggling up to meet your eye level. He lifted his hand up to run his hand up and down your arm.
The shine of the cityscape reflected perfectly in Hawksâs golden eyes through the open window. The sleekness of their hawk-like shape pierced your own as you stared into them. You could sense the seriousness in the hue of yellow. The intense eye contact caught your breath in your throat as your worries poured out.
âHawks, Iâm scared,â you mumbled, âWhat if someone finds out about us?â
Immediately, Hawks didnât waste a second in shuffling up to press your face into his chest. The soft circles he ran up and down your shoulder blades ticked through your shirt.
You could hear his rapid heart rate, making it clear the fear that had shocked him into gelding you so tight.
He squeezed you tightly, guilty of placing you into a situation of fear, anxious for what he led you into, and feeling selfish for wanting you anyway.
How could he not when you were all he has ever wanted?
âCall me Keigo,â he whispered, voice light as one of his scarlet feathers.
Your eyes shot open.
âI know I told you that I couldnât tell you my name but I donât care anymore,â he confessed, feeling the way you tried to look up at him, âMy nameâs Keigo Takami, and I promise I will protect you from anything.â
âKeigo... I love that name...â you sighed, getting comfortable against his chest, âIt really suits you.â
Hawks couldnât help but chuckle.
âI know youâll protect me, Keigo...â
He smiled when you used his name.
âAnd I promise Iâll do anything to keep us together.â
I'm so sorry for just disappearing pls forgive me.
I'm now on holidays so I can write so much more! I'll be opening requests for haikyuu and mha in a couple days!!
First âI love youâs with the BNHA Boys
Bakugo, Shinso, Kirishima
Summary: How I think some of my favs would say their first ily and when it would be in the relationship. Pretty much first major confession stories...
A/N: So sorry for inactivity. I always get way too carried away with these sorts of headcanons... Let me know if you guys want a part two with maybe some pro heroes, villains, or maybe more students??Â

Bakugo:
Yeah, Bakugo sucks at words
Bakugo said his quite far into the relationship, letâs be real
To begin with, his love language was actions, not words
So when he realised that he needed to say it at some point or you may get upset with him, he panickedÂ
Iâm sure you were incredibly accepting of his form of affection, slightly aggressive or not, that you weren't pressing for him to say it
You knew he would be uncomfortable with it, so you make it your mission to say it to him first
That way he could feel either relieved that you said first, confident enough to say it himself when he was ready, or let it out at the same time
Spoiler: it was the latterÂ
You both blurted it out together
The two of you were in a fight, nothing unusualÂ
However, it wasnât one of the playful ones that more commonly end with you giggling and pleading for his mercy as he tickled you
Youâd never yell in those sorts of fights, and neither would he
But this one was serious
The points and arguments attacking each other were incredibly personal, but both sides were very unselfish
For example, you said:Â âYour inferiority complex is what makes you this way and youâre gonna push yourself too hard one day!â
To which heâd reply with:Â âLook at you, if you want to play hero let me do what I want and focus on yourself. Donât waste your time on me when Iâm perfectly fineâ
You get the idea
All you wanted was for him to look after himself
Once you believed the fight was incredibly stupid, you stormed off
Bakugo of course tried to catch up with you only for you to slam a door in his face, which you instantly regretted
It took you a good half an hour to open the door again
Bakugo stood up immediately at the sight of your puffy eyes
He felt awfulÂ
But the three words came out as follows:
âKatsuki... Iâm sorryâ
âNo, I amâ
âKatsu, please, you know that I get worked upâ
âAnd I do tooâ
There was a pause, neither of you knowing who would speak first
Thatâs when you spoke at the same time
âI only said what I said because I love you and care about youâ
âI almost pushed you away because I love you so much, dumbassâ
âWhat did you say?â
âHuhâ
You got him to repeat himself, and he mumbled it shyly
You awed, hurrying up to him to pull him tightly into your chest and reassured him softly
He was too shocked to get emotional or cry
He was mainly relieved that you said it too, because as soon as that fight picked up, he was afraid you didnât
Now that it was off his chest, he was relieved
And knowing everything that you did was because you loved him back made him feel so much better
But he made sure that you both said it often enough to avoid doubt

Shinso:
My soft purple boy...
He knew he loved you instantly, much like most of the boys on this list
He had finally found someone with similar interests as him, same sense of humour, same goals, and loved cats too
Best of all, you never assumed anything because of his quirk
And with Shinsoâs childhood, encountering someone who thought nothing like those other kids, he wanted to hold onto you forever
You feeling safe around him wasnât something that grew over time after meeting him
It was instantaneousÂ
You had introduced yourself to him and he cocked an eyebrow at you
âArenât you scared?â
âScared? Why would I be scared?â
âDonât you know Iâm the kid with the brainwash quirk that everyone says to âbewareâ?â
âOh, yeah. I knewâ
âThen why did you approach me?â
âI donât know, I thought your quirk was actually really cool and wanted to know why your in the general department and not in the hero departmentâ
That was the first time he had ever heard someone talk about his quirk in such a way
Heâd be lying if he said that he didnât fall in love instantly as you took a seat next to him and began ranting about how rigged the entrance exam was
I didnât mean to get into a whole backstory so lets hurry with the confession:
You two werenât even dating yet when he said it
And it wasnât even that far into your friendship that he let it slip
The two of you had stopped into a cat cafe on the way home from UA
You had already finished eating and were busy playing with the numerous cats surrounding your table
After all, Shinso was a cat magnet
You cooed at a kitten in your lap, talking to it in your baby voice
Shinso sat across from you, chin resting in his hand smiling fondly to himself
The fact that he loved you was so apparent to him that he almost forgot that you didnât know
For some reason, he had forgotten that you really couldnât read his mind, even though you were so similar to him
At this point, your teasing but genuine affection had made Shinso forget that you weren't dating
Being around each other was so comfortableÂ
He never had been so blessed
While you played with the cat, he sighed
âDamn... I love you...â
â:0âÂ
â:|â
The boy had the audacity to clear his throat and pretend he didnât say it, like it was a ghost or something that had whispered it so softly and meaningfully in a voice that sounded just like his voice..?Â
Of course you knew it was him
âDo you mean it?â
âMean what?â
â>:[â
âYes?â
âThis is so sudden... I mean weâre not even dating? Do I say it back now? How long have you felt this way? Do I have to meet your parents now? Wait, do you even want a relationship? No-â
Shinso leaned over the table and placed his hand over your mouth to hush you
âIt was an accident, okay? I didnât mean to say it so soonâ
You peel his large hand off your mouth
âNo, itâs fine... Iâm kind of relieved...â
âWhyâs that?â
âI was going to ask you out after this... and I didnât know if youâd say yesâ
You laughed nervously, turning back to the cat and avoided Shinsoâs eyes
Letâs just say that he definitely said yes and that spot in the cat cafe became his favourite place ever
You said that you loved him right after he agreed to date you

Kirishima:
Kiri! Kiri! Kiri! Kiri!
Words are 100% his thing!
In fact, after you started dating, he couldnât wait to say it!
He would have said it as soon as you agreed to date him if it wasnât for his plan that he had come up with as soon as he realised he had a crush on you
This plan of his consisted of him confessing that he loves you after a long date that ended with you two stargazing on a hill with candles and sandwiches and blankets and-
Argh, it was going to be perfect!
Originally, he intended jump right into it and ask you to hang out then take you to the arcade, then to lunch, then the festival, then across the lake, then to the park as friends!Â
Denki thought it was stupid that heâd go through all that effort without knowing if you even liked him back!
So, with Denkiâs âexperienceâ, he instructed Kirishima on a new 20 step plan in order to say it at the right moment
Kiri, being so lovestruck, he could only listen to him
The first date he asked you on was a simple study date
According to Denkiâs plan, Kiri was to take baby steps in order to build up to a date of that magnitude
With Kirishima being the sunshine boy he is, every date was a blast (even the study one)
As it came to the completion of the 20 step plan, Kiri began to grow nervous
Remember how I said words are 100% his thing?
Well, at least they were
Before the big day at least
He was incredible fidgety the entire time, from when you got to the arcade to when you hopped onto the boat to cross the lake
You werenât stupid, you noticed how his laughter faded out quickly as how he avoided your eyes more often than not
It caused you to get a bit anxious yourself, making the boat ride over to the park incredibly awkward
You usually relied on him to bounce back on, but now...
Why was he even anxious? The date had gone perfectly!
You looked like you had enjoyed yourself, so why was he questioning if you would love him back?
Nonetheless, he led you to the exactly place on the hill he had planned it to happen three months ago
You rolled out the picnic blanket, lit the candles, ate the sandwiches and waited for the sun to go down
The temperature dropped, causing you to shiver, just like Kiri planned
So he took out the blanket and wrapped it around your shoulders, much more awkwardly than he had watched on repeat in his head for months
But you took it with a smile, and he loosened up a bit
When it became dark enough for you to see the stars, you lay down on wrapped in the blanket
Your eyes were filled with wonder as you found yourself absent-mindedly telling Kiri about the different stars
Thatâs when Kiri found his hand itching for the speech that he stashed into his pocket after rewriting it over and over again
He was sure he had formulated his words right
But at that moment, seeing you just as he had dreamed in this perfect moment, but only more beautiful, he realised it would never go as he planned
âAnd I think that one is Sirius. Itâs got to be the brightest starâ
âY/Nâ
âYes?â
âI want to tell you somethingâ
Youâre heart dropped
âWhat is it?â
âIâm so in love with you, you have no idea. Ever since I met you, I thought you were incredible and beautiful... Itâs not very manly for me to admit this but... I have literally dreamed of this moment. But none of my dreams could have never prepared me for this. I love you, Y/N, and itâs okay if you donât love me backâ
âOh thank goodness, Iâm so glad that was what you wanted to sayâ
âHuh?â
âI noticed how fidgety you were and I feared the worst if Iâm honest!â
âOh, no I didnât want to make you feel that way! I was just nervous that you wouldnât accept my confession...â
âOf course I do! I love you too!â
He was so relieved, and never regretted the way the confession when down
Since he recovered from his initial nerves, heâd say it constantly and youâd always laugh and reciprocate his words
