I'm starting to get progressively comfortable with the expression of my own sexuality (especially coming from a very religious and strict background/household) and I've got to a point where my libido/turn ons are not a taboo nor something to be ashamed of anymore. EDIT: I've quickly done my research and Troy did in fact made a public statement to establish boundaries on NSFW. So, as stated and promised, I take back all of what it's said here, HOWEVER my GENERAL point still stands for fandoms/communities alike as this is a recurrent phenomenon and not a one time case

Also btw I'm seeing people panicking more and more over the 18+ side of the Kinito fandom and uh really y'all do whatever makes you most comfortable because mental health is always the first way to go, however do not force anyone to follow your same beliefs unless is strictly necessary (i.e. something actually problematic)

Troy is a minor and I get the concern, but I haven't seen anything purely problematic as of now /gen

I am not aware if Troy has made a public statement that strictly puts a boundary on NSFW, if there is one, let me know, because in THAT case, then it's a matter of the boundaries of the CREATOR being broken, so it's important

If not then, idk I don't see it too much of a catastrophic scenario because (AGAIN: unless Troy has stated precise boundaries, in that case I take it all back asap), nobody is making NSFW of Troy, but of the characters, that, at least in my POV, doesn't have anything to do with Troy, it's not like we're indirectly making NSFW of Troy if we make a spicy Kinito drawing /gen/nm

I don't mean to be the "It's the internet" guy, because that's not what I'm saying really. I just think everything can coexist if we just choose to do whatever makes us most comfortable and keep the problematic shit outta here. After dark AUs? Ok slay. Feeling sick about it? Stay away from them because we value mental health above all, but don't force anyone into anything /gen/nm

I get the point of not seeing Kinito doing that sort of stuff, and it's not wrong to see it like that, I think so too, but, at least for me, is something for canon/in-game Kinito and any AUs that take that side of his personality and accentuate it in particular. Other AUs focus on Kinito's sentience, more on the mature(intended as violence) and angst side, so like, it would fit to explore on something more pushed y'know?

Again, really y'all let's not take it to the extreme, this is a small community still and it's getting bigger by the second. The canon event is inevitable, it happens in every community that quickly explodes in popularity, the best way to survive through the horrors it to live and let live. Valuing human decency and mental health.
