It's so funny how I created Bela exclusively to be Webby's dead mum but, now that she's developed on her own, her turning out NOT to be is the route that makes the most sense for her.
y’all help i’m becoming quite fond of the supporting cast… i love that kapanen has only two modes: teenage stoner who’s sleeping through detention OR breakaway speed demon (the “former gifted kid who has chosen the path of least resistance but is still capable of flashes of genius” energy is VERY strong). i truly enjoy how surprised and grateful and bashfully pleased cody ceci looks when he scores a goal (“guys! guys! did you see that? did i - i did that!”). i like that mike matheson is either brilliant or a nightmare and even he’s not sure which one he’s going to be when he heads out for his shift (it’s a SURPRIIISE!!!). i LOVE our smiley happy baby PO joseph who is so sharply dressed and does air kisses with tanev before games like WHAT who made him so adorable & then gave him to us?? i don’t know anything about zach aston-reese but i like his little miniature italian greyhound so he’s cool with me. i like that i read one (1) fic about bryan rust that permanently shaped my headcanons about him and so every time i see him i am fondly like “oh i know him” (i do not know him, i just read a fic once). but also i appreciate his commitment to looking like a lifesized cardboard cutout of a white frat boy who’s like, not president of his frat but has been tasked with some less glamorous but moderately important responsibility. bryan rust, frat secretary. i can’t tell jake guentzel and jared mccann apart and i’m not entirely convinced that sid didn’t test his cloning technology on jake first, with slightly disappointing but “eh, it’ll do” results, but it’s ok, i’m glad the gang’s all here and sid hasn’t been arrested for dubiously ethical scientific experiments. and then obviously i am freaking OBSESSED with brandon tanev, known friend of the fae, who communes comfortably with the dead and was (as you recall) swapped at birth for a changeling child and raised by the faeries as one of their own. GOD i enjoy brandon tanev’s existence so much that while watching the game tonight i was like “wait should i - should i buy a tanev jersey? is that what my heart’s trying to tell me?” anyway here they are, our disaster team, of whom i have become QUITE fond

Was anyone going to tell me Nailed it did an Umbrella Academy episode? Because this is the best thing I’ve ever seen.
