New Bed Frame - Tumblr Posts
Finally got a new bed! Saving up for a new mattress.
This post is overdue, but I wanted to make sure it would hold up just fine before I got the word out. Thanks to everyone who's currently supporting me via Patreon and have bought some of my adoptables, I was finally able to buy myself a new bed frame!
I had mentioned the following in passing (and in older posts throughout the past), but that old bed frame really needed to go and thanks to the support bars that the frame itself has I was able to get rid of the broken box spring mattress as well. I didn't take pics of me tearing the whole thing down, so you'll just have to picture m or one of my OCs doing that in your head, haha. It's been two weeks since I've slept on it and it hasn't given me any problems whatsoever (though I'm still not used to it having more legs than the old one, so I keep stubbing my toes and bumping into them).
As far as beds go, all that's left now is to save up for a new mattress. I've seen a couple of good ones on sale in some flyers the past couple of weeks, but unfortunately, their sale periods have ended. I'm not entirely sure how much I'd need for one at regular price (plus I have to take into account multiple factors, such as whether the store's far/close to home, who'll help me bring it over, etc.), but I'd be able to buy one regardless of the situation if I had $700. If they happen to be on sale again once I've got that much money, I could put it toward new bed sheets, pillows, and toppers as well.
