Home is

I can tell you what home is

But before I do here are some things

You might have missed

Home isn’t

Where your family is, they are

Wherever you can get in an argument

Home isn't

Where you lay your head

You can do that wherever it’s convenient

Home isn't

Where your clothes are

Those could be on the side of the road if I’m blunt

Home isn’t

Where your mother is

She could be in the ground, she’s that ancient

Home isn’t

Even where you grew up

Sometimes that place is nonexistent

Now that that is out of the way

I can tell you what

Home really is

Home is where you trust the toilet seat
