Something I made for a 2d design class
This is all cut from one piece of black paper and it's all connected
No I don't know how it turned out so well
This was the first time I've done this kind of thing in a long time and I'm so proud of myself
The assignment was to do something with symmetry so I chose all might
On the left, the background is shapes from his hero costumes to show that even when skinny he's still a hero, and I tried to make them all point down
On the right, the background is his scar to show how that injury is always in the background and is always affecting him
However I did give both sides a smile to show that he's still the same person no matter what form he's in

A paper cut I made based on an ancient Greek coin reading Ασκληπιος Σωτηρος (Asklepios the Deliverer/Healer), depicting Asklepios' snake wrapped around the Omphalos (the stone Rhea gave to Kronos in place of Zeus).
