intermezzo spoilers!! (kinda?)

when kayne interrupts arthur after he pronounces “anna stanczyk” saying “ugh. everytime you pronounce that name…” OMG KAYNE YOURE SO REAL FOR THAT!! this is such a classic polish surname moment. and i LOVE it. one of my favorite moments of the series so far XD

tis the season! (for pickle making)

and i’m gonna livepost my process for future reference

(also fyi i got all the instructions from my grandma)

step one: soaking the cucumbers in cold water for at least an hour (after having them washed thoroughly)

step five: pouring boiled water with salt into the filled jars

(one full tablespoon of rock salt for 1l of water)

step six: picking out the appropriate jar lids for your jars and pouring boiling water on them

step seven: putting the jar lids on the jars and tightening them so that no water leaks

(you can wait a moment after tightening them initially and go in for round two of even more tightening, just in case. that’s what i do at least lol, wasn’t part of grandma’s recipe)

and you’re done!

(a cat is not required in the pickle making process but she did offer an immense amount of moral support)
