So I had to completely redo my mods files after messing up one file where arthurs' shirt wouldn't show up. Hopefully, this will have fewer bugs. Always refer to youtube videos for help because it's helped ALOT. I was completely upset when my files were ruined and spent the whole day fixing them. I had to repeatedly redo my rdr2 folder till I finally said fuck it and went to youtube for help because I have no idea what I'm doing in the end. Don't be afraid to ask for help! There's many resources out there for this game being as popular as it is.
I sadly couldn't play the whole blessed are the peacemakers' quest because colm wouldn't show up. It is likely due to mods. Oh well, I hope to start a new game and take more beautiful pictures earlier in the game with my otis inf Mod!
I've been away since social media has been taking a toll on my mental health and effecting my mood.
I will still post just not as much as I'm in my exploring mods phase in rdr2 currently.
I also have been playing rdr1 and BOY. That game is brutal! There's sex, there's strong language, a lot, and a lot of sad death. I don't know if I've gone soft or what. I know what I signed up for, but all these side deaths are just as sad as the ending to me. But it's keeping me thriving for more.
I just got to the mission where I can see Abigail but I had to go out and kill alot of animals so I can bring another extra $1000 home to the wifey.
But I was doing a nightwatch mission (really fun and one of my favorite side missions to make cash, should have been in rdr2)
And this happened
That man has got some SKILL.
All in all, I almost like the mechanics of rdr1 more... I am not sure. The problems about skinning a kill and not having him take his time. Flip the animal and have to carry a pelt to his horse every time.
The side missions are fun, and often, I ignore anyone who needs help because I die ALOT.
But I love that the high fame and hero status makes everyone greet me and know my name. It feels good to be recognized.
Hoping to go low honor on Jack, tho 😈 hey! He's 19 years old and just is mad at the world.
I wish they carried over the high inventory so early on and the back rifle holster for john into rdr2, tho. I know you can get it with mods, but everything can be buggy with mods
Anyway. I hope you all had a good July so far with family/ loved ones and people who care! 😊

I don't know much about skin tones AT ALL, so I would love to hear your side or pictures showing your side.
This would not include arthur in guarma or after the guarma chapter as his complextion changes due to being sick.
Also, I'm sure this depends on lighting. How much he's in the sun without a hat and gets cooked a little. And how the weather has had an effect on him. (This game is too advanced for its time, I swear, I still am finding new things at least every week)

what do I do to get him out? antagonize till he decides to beat me up of course! how else! I was hoping for him to run into the fire hilariously if I just went around it alot. that, sadly failed.
so, I beat him up!
so I sleep after the fight to keep up my mods cores, next morning he wakes up and walks off into the wilderness.

Apparently, pee is the same element as gasoline in RDR2. I knew this before but wanted to record it properly.

Old man Arthur Morgan. This is a lighting or texture glitch. It's usually just temporary. Although there are mods to change Arthur or Johns hair color.
I wanted to see what other people thought of this. In some lighting, he's light brown, some dirty blonde. I would LOVE to see your screenshots of different lighting that supports if you think he's dirty blonde or light brown haired. 😊
I mean, Sadie Adler is DEFINITELY a dirty blonde as I have been studying her like a hawk occasionally for cosplay. (I'd rather dye my hair than wear a wig. Wearing a wig in that style has problems of its own. I'd explain, but it's not the point of this post)

I was playing around with rampage yesterday and traveling on and off the map.

I finally got a donkey in rdr2.
It'd mods of course. Because the donkey in the rdr2 vanilla game is unable to be saved and kept in a stable and is more for laughs and giggles
His name is Rowan.
I decided to equipped him with gear similar to the photo from the mod page since it fit my preferences.
He sadly doesn't make donkey noises in the stable like the mod page says he would 😞 so he still makes horse noises sadly.
Donkeys and mules helped shape the wild west! I'm even surprised quarter horses aren't in rdr2, as they are in rdr1, as that was also a animal that helped make the wild west as it is today.
Here's the mod page to download if you're interested. I also used why em's dlc also for his rump cargo and the fancy saddle that can only be found online otherwise.

I chose packing heat because donkeys were usually used in the desert. Mine was anyway. And he's a pack animal. People would use these animals for bringing along important supplies into the mountains or desert areas for mining, for example. Wild burros were used during the gold rush and were left abandoned. Eventually, they grew wild and found a way to thrive on the tough, unforgiving terrain in the American wild west.
Where they still roam to this day!
