I'm not very sure about actual full designs, but i've written a few little notes about their costume designs!

techno

-has cool mismatched white-black boots, a bit like rain boots, but more stylish and cut just above the ankles

-has a red pull-on outer-coat thing for his hero costume, it's sort of like a sweatshirt, but with a high collar and fur near the neck

-has a white blouse-like shirt and black pants of the same material (its actually really tear resistant tho)

-red outer coat thing has an attachable pink hood that can be pulled over his face - pull-on pig mask!

-has a small yellow crown print on the top right of his outer sweatshirt

wilbur

-has lab goggles on his costume, they have a golden rim/frame

-always wears his guitar case slung over his shoulder over his hero costume, the case has a lot of stickers collected from different people he’s met/saved 

-has tan water-proof pants, kind of like like ski pants? rather tight fitting, relatively light

-wears a yellow jumpsuit with black highlights and black stripes on the sides, jumpsuit is basically like a sweatshirt and sweatpants

-body-fit dark green jumpsuit and a short outer coat - has short sleeves and cant be zipped up or anything

-signature striped hat! also has a dark grey backpack, it’s rather flat, so it isn’t that obvious, except for the bright green straps

-has black open-toe lace-up boots

-actually has a belt with 2 small bags on it, sort of like a fanny pack?

-hero outfit is actually extremely function-based, since gets put into a lot of high-risk rescue situations

The curse that comes with being immortal.

“That was my son,” Tears flew down the man’s face, gritting his teeth. His eye fell on his son's cold body once alive. And Techno is one step away–a word away, a plead away, but– "and that's my brother." a wicked smile blossomed on the man's face, "then i guess we're even then," the knife cuts excessively deep in Wilbur's throat, no chance of survival, the man drops his body. "NOOO!!!" Techno screams fall on deaf ears, he runs to Wilbur. “..Techno?...” Wilbur wheezes while coughing on his own blood, tears falling down his face, knowing these are his last moments alive.

Techno cradles his brother’s body, holding Will's face in his hands, “no, no, save your energy. You’ll be okay, you.. you have to be..” techno pleads as he can feel him losing the warmth in his body. It is like techno can hear the man's words, his meaning of doing this. "feel my pain," carries in the roaring wind.

All Wilbur can do is smile sadly and shake his head at him, coughing once more, he takes a shallow breath than gives his brightest smile and says “I love you” before breathing for his last time, looking into the eyes of his brother, forever and always.

If anyone saw the great Blood God crying, sobbing, into his brother’s chest, begging for it all to all be some sick twisted joke, praying and damning every god he called on for not saving his brother that today. They saw nothing. Well mainly because they didn’t live to tell of it, that was the day the Blood God closed his heart again, locking it behind a cage, planning to never open it again. It belonged to one; forever and always.

Relative size reference and anatomical ramblings below cut.

Here’s a vague size comparison thing for all of them. And a human for perspective

I really, desperately want to make an illustrated guide to my merfolk lore, because it’s extensive and I’m really proud of it. But that sounds slightly overwhelming, so idk, but here are some random scraps that pertain to these four. My fish mers aren’t allowed to have hair; they have a variety of different fins on their head to mimic it instead. Oviparous fish (e.g. remora) lay their eggs and their mer counterparts do likewise, and therefore don’t have nipples and/or breasts. Eggs of ovoviviparous fish (e.g. manta ray) hatch shortly before giving birth and do not consume anything resembling milk, so their mer counterparts do not have nipples and/or breasts. Viviparous fish (e.g. lemon shark) essentially nurse when in the womb, so their mer counterparts nurse after having given birth and have nipples and/or breasts. Mammals (e.g. monk seal) are self explanatory.

Also most animals hatch or are born with navels, because even in eggs, there’s a cord from the embryo to the yolk sack. Oviparous and ovoviviparous creatures just tend to be better at healing the scar. However, I’ve decided that mers are not as good at healing the scar, and thus, have bellybuttons.

Sbi + ranboo (and maybe tubbo) have braids in their hair, given by techno to signify protection (stole this one from someone else)

Tommy can speak piglin, so he can communicate with micheal and hes teaching ranboo and tubbo how to speak it too

2. Ah! SBI! Tommy cut his braid out after Technoblade blew up L'Manburg, but rebranded it after escaping exile, and then kept it in because it "makes him look cool as fuck". Or something like that. Tommy taught Tubbo to braid. Tubbo really only uses it when he's working at Tubburger. His crown braid keeps him from shedding in the food, lol. Phil keeps his behind his ear. He's pretty determined it comes out less like that. Wilbur's remained beneath his beanie. It constantly had to be redone.

3. Oh, he completely abuses this translator power. Love that.

I bet Techno taught him...

4. Pretty sure this is canon, actually (assuming you meant "sew", not that Tommy is a female pig XD)! We love c!Tommy :)

AU concept I came up with when I missed the OSMP

(old draft i wrote back in like july or august) Phil is an assassin/bounty hunter known as “The Angel of Death” who does contract killing to earn some extra cash to take care of his three sons.

Phil isn’t ashamed of what he does, but it isn’t glamorous so he’d rather no one know about it, and works very hard to hide his identity and his hero persona in general from the public. The Angel of Death is just a rumor around the region and no one that’s seen him has lived to tell the tale (or been sober enough to be believed.)

However, his kids suddenly become OBSESSED with the Angel of death, and Phil has to scramble to keep them from idolizing him and being a bad influence. But they just think he’s sooo cool and don’t wanna let their cool new idol go.

So Phil instead embraces their obsession, crafting a more kid friendly version of The Angel of Death.

He confirms that the Angel is in fact real, but;

“His ACTUAL name is Crow Father, and, no, he doesn’t KILL people. He just watches over the city and is a simple night watcher. In fact, he helps bad guys see the error of their ways by talking to them. All the dead criminals that show up are unrelated and why do you kids even know about that stop watching the news.”

So Tommy, Wilbur, and Techno grow up with a WILDLY different version of the Angel of Death legend, believing him to be just some positive role model for kids that spouts wholesome messages and encourages good habits like “Brush your teeth!” or “clean your room!”

Techno and Wilbur grew out of the Angel of Death obsession a year so after that, thinking he’s just for little kids, but Tommy held onto that phase until he was a teenager, then they all pretty much forgot about it. Phil had long since retired and the Angel of Death legend is all but completely dead, morphing into a tale about a monster, cryptid, or spirit that once roamed the countryside instead of a mysterious killer that targeted criminals.

Phil, thinking his secret is safe, foolishly relaxes for the next few years, positive NO ONE will ever know it was him.

Until his kids come home from being away for quite some time, and start talking about their old obsession. Some dots begin to connect, like the hero’s disappearance sometime when Phil came home with a mysterious stab wound, and why he was always tired like he’d stayed up the entire night…

Meanwhile Phil is chopping onions or something a few feet away listening in just thinking “don’t look at me, don’t look at me, don’t look at me-”

hc that Techno always keeps dino bandaids on him at all times bc he grew up with Wilbur, who has no impulse control and jumped off many a tree, rock and even housetops in his day, and Tommy, who copies everything Wilbur does and refuses to wear bandaids unless they're dinosaur ones

alright I have an au idea that im about to badly explain but it's a little strange so stick with me.

I call it: 'The Parent Trap but Opposite' au

So picture this: Tommy is Phil's only child, right. His mother died in childbirth so for his entire eight years of life its just been him and Phil. And that's fine, that's great, he loves it. Tommy doesn't want another addition to the family, it would only screw everything up.

That being said, Phil is lonely. Don't get him wrong, he loves his son and loves spending time with him, but he misses the feeling of being in love. He misses his wife.

Enter, Kristen.

They meet on a blind date, set up by a friend from Phil's work, and hit it off instantly. Months pass and Phil wants to propose.

One problem though. He hasnt told Tommy about it. He hasn't even introduced Kristen to him.

So what better way to merge both families that a holiday?

(I should probably say here that Kristen also has children. Take a wild guess who they are.)

Tommy is all for a holiday. Two weeks at a fancy ass hotel with room service, an arcade and a pool? Sign him up!

That is until, he finds out that Kristen and her boys will be joining them.

Enter, Wilbur and Techno.

(They're about fourteen. Their parents are divorced and, unlike Tommy, they knew Kristen was seeing Phil. They alse know that Phil is gonna propose - well, it's just a hunch)

Phil, god bless him, tries his hardest to get Tommy to warm up to Kristen, Wilbur and Techno. He plans all these activities and takes them all shopping, to the beach, to waterparks ect. But Tommy just won't take to them; he doesn't mind Kristen but Wilbur and Techno are weird, they keep making these cryptic comments about how they're going to be seeing eachother a lot in the future and Tommy just does not understand.

That is, until they decide to let Tommy in on the obvious.

Tommy, as expected, is in denial. Because there's no way his dad would do something like that without telling him first. Besides, Phil doesn't need to get married, they're perfectly happy just the two of them.

There's just no way.

Right?

Wrong.

Because Tommy is a curious little shit and he ransacks his and Phil's hotel room in search for the ring. He doesn't find it, of course, because Phil is used to Tommy's little raccoon tactics and hid it properly. But when he comes back from dinner with Kristen to a destroyed room and a confused Tommy, he decides to tell him the truth.

Needless to say Tommy has a fit. One moment, he's happy; just him and dad, living life. And then this lady and her shitty sons come along and fucks that up

(I imagine the conversation being something like:

Phil: Yeah im gonna propose Kristen

Tommy, inhaling deeply: *screams*

And then it would proceed to reinact that once scene from Steven universe with ruby and sapphire like-

phil: he'll eventually tire himself out :'D

Tommy, making even more of a mess than he already has: that's what you think! I am an eternal flame baby!! >:(

Yeah.)

Tommy, ever the drama queen, storms to Wilbur and Techno - who are like "we told you so :/" - and the three of them (because Techno and Wilbur also do not want this little racoon gremlin hybrid in their home either) team up and plan to ruin the proposal. The only problem, they don't know when Phil is gonna actually propose.

And this...this is where the hijinks and shenanigans ensue.

They just like, constantly ruin Phil and Kristen's date nights with their dumb shit.

(I'm thinking shit like the three of them stacked on each others shoulders in a trench coat pretending to be a waiter at the hotel restaurant Phil and Kristen are eating at and constantly spilling drinks and food of them whenever it looks like Phil is about to pop the question; following them on walks under the stars, hiding in bushes with binoculars and making birds attack them; tackling Phil into the pool ect. ect. ect.)

But, plot twist, while pulling off these epic plans, the three of them...bond! Dun dun dunnnnn!!! Wilbur and Techno actually grow to like Tommy and think "Hey, maybe this kid ain't so bad" so they back out on the plans and try to convince Tommy to do the same. He won't.

(Meanwhile, Phil is just wondering why all his proposal attempts have gone so fucking wrong like???)

Anyways, fast forward. Its the last day of their holiday the two families go out for dinner. Its nice, they're having a good time, Kristen is chatting away to Tommy about Minecraft and Tommy is happy to tell her all about his favourite game. And then, Phil clears his throat.

He starts talking about Kristen and how happy he makes her, and Tommy can tell what's coming the moment Phil reaches into his jacket pocket and pulls out a small black box. And, in a final attempt to keep the life he has, Tommy snatches the box out of Phil's hand and fucking runs.

He runs right out of the restaurant, ignoring everyone calling after him, and doesn't stop running until he's on the beach, where he hides. And he cries. He cries because his dad is gonna replace him with Techno and Wilbur, and he misses his mum even though he never met her, and because this he knows that stealing a ring and running away isn't gonna stop this proposal from happening, and because the only family dynamic he knows is going to change and he isn't ready for that. And it's just a big angst moment.

And then some fluff.

Kristen finds him hidden by the rocks, and Tommy quickly pretends he wasn't just crying bc he's a big man and shit like that. He half expects her to immediately call for Phil and then for Phil to disown him, but instead she sits with him.

She asks if he's OK and when he doesnt answer her she just goes on talking about random things as if Tommy didn't just ruin their entire holiday (about shit like how she thought the cake at the restaurant was too dry and about the stars and different constellations and she even continues asking him about minecraft) and Tommy, after a while, talks back to her.

They talk for a while, arguing about the best Minecraft block (Tommy wholeheartedly defending cobblestone like his life depends on it) until eventually Kristen asks why he did what he did. And Tommy explains everything (that can basically be summed up in "I'm scared of change")

It's just a wholesome moment really. They're just sitting behind a bunch of rocks, Tommy is spilling his guts and Kristen is just listening. And at then end of it she's there to give him a big hug.

(I imagine Tommy saying that one cliche line "please don't hurt my dad" and Kristen being like "I wouldn't dream of it" and then Tommy gives her the ring box)

But yeah, happy ending! Phil proposes to Kristen on the beach and it's all happy and nice and cool and Tommy, Techno and Wilbur watch and Techno starts crying a little bc he's so happy for his mum.

I came up with this last night when I couldn't sleep.

here me out.....Wilbur and Techno

Bench Trio-centric zombie apocalypse au with background sbi but it's just poorly written notes, by me:

-Tommy and Tubbo were 13 when the apocalypse began, and the two of them are very close childhood friends. Tommy was at a sleepover at Tubbo's when the apocalypse began and zombies attacked the house. In a midst of fear they hid in the attic for days, listening to the horrors going on outside, until they eventually had to leave for food.

-Tubbo lived with his aunt Puffy and his two cousins Foolish and Dream before everything began. He doesn't know where they are but fears the worst. Tommy hasn't seen his father or brother either. It's been four years. He doesn't like to think about it much.

-Ranboo and his mom's were on holiday when the apocalypse happened. One of them was bitten, and he was forced to kill her. The other died during a raid by a group of surviours leaving Ranboo alone in an unfamiliar place.

-Tommy and Tubbo found Ranboo a few months into the apocalypse. They were running from zombies and quite literally bumped into eachother.

-Tommy was very skeptical of having another person tagging along with them, but Tubbo took to their new friend immediately and insisted he stay with them. They've been friends ever since.

-After two years of fending for their lives, dodging death and the undead together, the trio meet a kind man that is willing to help them. His name is Sam and he had a car and a radio that he would use to try contact other surviours, but no one else reached out. Only one station ever played anything beside static: American Pie by Don McLean.

-Tommy really liked Sam as he reminded him of his dad, Phil. Out of the trio, Tommy was probably the closest with Sam. They would go on supply runs together and Sam was the one that taught Tommy how to actually defend himself.

-Unfortunately, the bench trio can't have nice things so one day, on a supply run at an abandoned gas station the group is attacked by a large horde. There was no sign of escape until Sam threw the keys to Ranboo and told the three of them to run while he held them off.

-Ranboo had to teach himself to drive. He has been the designated group driver since then.

-Which brings us to present day; The trio are still going strong in Sam's car. Tubbo is hellbent on finding other surviours and spends most of the time they're not fighting for their lives working on the radio (it still plays that song over and over, Tommy is sick of it but Ranboo quite enjoys it. They argue about it frequently) but nothing ever happens.

-That is, until one day it does.

-They're driving, as they often do. Tommy sits in the front seat, Ranboo driving and Tubbo in the back. The radio is still playing American Pie - much to Tommy's annoyance - and then it crackles off and a voice calls out for anyone listening. Obviously they jump to reply.

-the voice - named Niki - tells them about a surviour camp on the otherside of the city and for the first time in the trios life, they have hope.

-They set off immediately, but - because the bench trio can't have nice things - lots of things go wrong. The main being Ranboo getting bit.

-He hides it for as long as he can, but around three quarters through his journey things get too much for him and he is forced to tell Tommy and Tubbo.

-This is where things get complicated because none of them want Ranboo to die. Tommy suggests cutting off the bite like they do in Zombie films but the bite is somewhere rlly inconvenient like his shoulder or something so they can't do that.

-Tubbo is the one that suggestes they try create a cure from Ranboo's infected blood. It's a long shot but it might work. However it will take a long time, a lot of blood samples and a break in to the nearest science lab.

-But Ranboo isn't willing to wait that long and potentially put his closest friends in the world at risk just from being around him. So, while Tommy and Tubbo are asleep, he leaves in the middle of the night.

-When they wake up to find Ranboo gone, Tommy and Tubbo dedicate a week to searching for him - this week includes the two of them taking turns horribly driving around and screaming out Ranboo's name. When they don't find him, Tommy decides that they need to keep moving, to get to the camp. Reluctantly, Tubbo agrees on the condition that he continues to try create a cure.

-And the two set off.

-When the apocalypse began, Techno was on the bus home from college. He never made it back to his house.

-He has spent most of the four years alone. Apart from roaming around with Bad and Skeppy - two people he met along the way - but they went their separate ways after Bad and Skeppy wanted to create a haven for survivors. Techno couldn't stay in the one place as he was intent on finding his family.

-He never did find them, even though he's been searching for four years.

-Unlike his brothers, Wilbur was at home eating dinner when the apocalypse started. His first thought was of Tommy, about his safety. His second was the zombie trying to eat his face.

-He and Phil were evacuated out of the city with most of citizens - much to his protest, they needed to find Tommy - and escorted to a temporary military camp that doesn't last long before its swarmed with the undead.

-Together with more survivors they grew to know (like Niki, Jack, Eret, Fundy) they survive together, eventually creating their own gated camp.

-Wilbur and Phil used to believe that one day Tommy and Techno would somehow find their way back to them. But as time passed, Phil slowly started to lose hope.

-He doesn't have the heart to tell Wilbur that though.

-In the camp, Jack, Eret and Fundy are scavengers that go out beyond the walls for supplies while Wilbur and Phil tend to the farm and Niki man's the radio, looking for other people out there to expand the camp (the crew boys)

-Wilbur keeps up hope that one day his family will be reunited, that the next voice he hears on the radio will be Tommy's or Techno's.

-But this hope dies when Puffy stumbles through the gates.

-She explains that she told Tommy and Tubbo to hide in the attic before she was evactuaded. She has no idea if they're alive or if they even made it out of attic.

-Heartbroken,Wilbur and Phil make the boys an empty grave. It's the least they can do.

-Wilbur never visits this grave, still in denial. He still waits up at night for Tommy every night.

-Techno was a surprise, stumbling upon the damp by accident resulting in a tearful SBI reunion which only becomes more tearful when Techno asks where Tommy is.

-Upon seeing the grave, Techno only wishes he could've been there from the start.

-He becomes the lead defender for the camp.

-Months pass, and soon another member joins the camp.

-His name is Sam. And he is adiment on using the radio.

au where Tommy is an orphan, right. He never knew his family and has lived in a shitty orphanage his whole life. Then one day, he inherits a shit ton of money and land from a distant relative he never knew existed.

Which is great, right? Lots of money, a big ass house, no more shitty orphanages. Sounds fantastic!

One thing though, the aforementioned bigass house? Yeah, it's smack bang in the middle of a bigger ass graveyard - Which Tommy also owns now.

Oh, and it's infested with ghosts (the rest of the SMP) that only Tommy seems to see.

And like, all the ghosts are from different eras in time. Like Wilbur is a poet from the 1800's, Phil is a grounds keeper from the 80's, Niki is a baker from the 17th century, Puffy is a pirate captian that died while docking at the house, Tubbo is a victorian chimney sweep and Techno is a Knight ect.

But here's the thing: all the ghosts died under mysterious circumstances and they can't move on to the next life until they figure out how they died. So not only does Tommy havd to deal with going to a new school - and this kid named Ranboo that is perisitent on befriending him (Tommy is quite against this, because yknow, he's got a little ghost problem) - a creepy butler named Dream that acts like a character out of a stereotypical murder mystery movie; he also has to solve multiple centery old mysteries to help his new friends find peace.

have you ever seen the best movie of all time aka Hocus Pocus? (if you haven't I rlly suggest you do it's *chefs kiss*) Well, what if I- *dsmp-ifyies another piece of media*

*ahem* So, on October 31st, 1693, Technoblade witnesses his sister being whisked away into the woods by three witches (aka the dream team) who want to absorb her youth and regain their own through the power of a potion they brew.

Being the big brother he is, Technoblade rushes into the woods to confront the witches but is too late and is transformed into an immortal pig forced to live with his guilt for not saving his sister.

Dream, George and Sapnap are arrested and sentence them to death for the murder of Technoblade and his sister but before their execution, Dream casts a spell that will resurrect the three of them when there is a full moon on All Hallows Eve and a foolish child lights a cursed candle.

Flash forward, modern day, Halloween. The Watson Family have moved to Salem and Wilbur, the eldest son, is having trouble settling in. After a fight with his father, Phil, Wilbur is being forced to take his younger brother Tommy trick-or-treating and the two brothers sneak into the Witches Cottage which has now been turned into a museum.

The cottage is typical. Lots of cobweds, smells bad. Oh, and there's a candle on display in the middle of the room with a sign that says DANGER ABSOLUTELY UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU LIGHT THIS CANDLE PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS HOLY DO NOT LIGHT THIS CANDLE I'M LITERALLY BEGGING YOU.

So naturally Wilbur lights it.

And this inadvertently resurrects century old witches who want revenge on the town for killing them. Oh and they also want to eat children's souls. And gosh by luck should have it, there's a blonde child right there waiting for them.

After setting off the sprinklers, saving Tommy and stealing a weird looking spell book, Wilbur gets the fuck out of there only to find a pig who can apparently talk and uses that ability to call Wilbur a complete fucking idiot for lighting that candle, he goes by the name Techno.

Techno leads the brothers to an old cemetery because Dream, George and Sapnap cannot step foot on hallowed ground. Here, he shows them the grave of his sister and a man named Sam, who used to aid the witches back in the day but betrayed them and was consequently killed by Dream and had his mouth sewn shut so he couldn't tell their secrets, even in death. He tells them of his life, of what happened to him and his sister and the curse he is under and he warns Wilbur to protect Tommy at all costs because you don't know how much someone means to you until theyre gone.

Techno informs them that the witches spell only lasts on Halloween, and unless they suck the soul out of at least one child they will turn to dust when the sun rises.

Meanwhile, the Dream Team try to adjust to the modern world, resulting in some shenanigans as they though some child dressed as a devil was Satan Himself and that a road was just a very deep black river.

They push Sapnap onto the road, resulting is lots of screaming and claims that he can't swim and that he's going to drown. Only for him to realises he's still just standing there.)

Anyway. Eventually, they catch up to out ragtag band of hero's, and Dream raises the dead body of Sam to chase them on foot where they cannot step.

After a close chase with Zombie Sam, Wilbur decides to be a responsible big brother and go find his parents who are attending a big Halloween party at City Hall. Tommy tells him he's being stupid and they can take on the witches - or, as he cleverly calls them, the bitches - all by themselves. But, nonetheless, the brothers plus a talking pig make it to City Hall. Unfortunately, so do the Dream Team.

(This scene is my favourite part of the actual movie and perhaps its just because I Put a Spell on You is my favourite song but anyways-)

Wilbur, unsuccessfully, tries to convince his father and the towns folk that the witches are back but Dream preforms an absolutely stellar performance of I Put a Spell on You (with George and Sapnap as back ups, of course) and all the partygoers are enchanting to dance until they day.

Running out of options, the trio run to the high school where Tommy has the bright idea to burn them alive. And it works! Using Tommy they lure Dream, George and Sapnap into the kiln and set the bitches ablaze. Woo! Day saved!

Or so they think.

Thinking that the danger has passed, Wilbur studies through the pages of the spellbook to find away to reverse the curse on Techno and turn him back to human, unknowning that the spellbook alerts the witches of their whereabouts and the Dream Team track them down, kidnapping Tommy and taking back the spellbook in the process.

Flying above town Sapnap casts a spell over the town which lures all the children in town towards the cottage.

Frantic, Wilbur and Techno plot a way to retrieve Tommy - because Phil is going to put him six feet under if he comes home from being enchanted at that party to find that Tommy has been taken and killed by a trio of century old witches. Using car headlights, they manage to convince the Dream Team that sunrise comes an hour early and in their panic, Wilbur grabs Tommy just before the witches can suck the rest of his soul and escapes back to the cemetery to wait out until sunrise but they are ambushed by Sam, who uses a sharp piece of glass to cut the stitches on his mouth and then yell the head off Dream.

The witches attack, and Dream attempts to use the last bit of potion to suck the rest of Tommy's soul but Techno snatches it off him and gives it to Wilbur. In an attempt to save his brother, Wilbur drinks the potion so the witches have to take him instead of Tommy which Dream is more than happy to do if it means he gets to live.

But just as Wilbur is about to die, Tommy screaming in the background as he fends off Sapnap and George, the sun rises causing Dream to fall onto the hallowed ground of the cemetery and turn into a stone statue, while George and Sapnap get caught in the light and disintegrate into dust.

With the witches gone, the curse that has been held over Techno for centuries has been lifted and his pig body dies, leaving the spirit of the man he once was to be reunited with his sister in the afterlife. Sam returns to his grave, now able to rest in peace.

The partygoers awake from their enchantment, completely unaware of anything that transpired. The children of the town return to their beds.

And Wilbur burns the spellbook with the same lighter he used to light the candle that started this whole thing, then he and Tommy walk home.

A/N: It’s not my first time writing but it’s my first time publishing, english isn’t my native language so I’m sorry if there’s any errors. Enjoy!

Phil had adopted three kids (almost four given that Tubbo spend most of his time with them). He loved them more than anything in the world, loved the adorable face Kristen had when she was taking care of them, loved the jokes between them, loved everything about his little family. But when the day had come for them to part ways because, as the angel of death he had to leave, he was terrified. Wilbur reassured him, saying that he would take care of everyone. And Phil trusted him, it was Wilbur, he was always thinking about everything that could happen before acting. So, with the promise of receiving crows at least every week, he went on his way, trusting his second born.

The three brothers grew closer during this time. Playing all together, watching musicals for Wilbur, learning how to fight with Techno, acting as kids for Tommy and Tubbo. It was a bit chaotic from time to time, of course, but that’s expected when you live as four boys, all brothers (and a best friend) in one single house. But everything was fine. They loved spending time with each other, teasing each other, annoying each other, but more than anything, protecting each other. If you passed one day with them, you’d think they were crazy. Techno was always doing riskiest things, saying that he wouldn’t have problems because “Dad’s away!” and “Technoblade never dies baby! Mom can’t stop me!” and this, oh this, became one of the most used phrase between them. Because till then, it was true. Technoblade never died. And he was adamant that he never would. So Kristen wouldn’t be able to ground him. It was like that since he almost burned her kitchen down as a kid (she designed this kitchen, she loved it more than anything, and Techno wasn’t supposed to be up at this time of the night, but they were watching another musical and Tommy and Tubbo were hungry, he had to cook them something...) And it always stayed like that.

Tommy always loved annoying his brothers, but would never admit that they were his idols, what he wished to be once an adult. Wilbur loved criticizing his brothers, making fun of them, but he would never change them for anything else in the world. Techno loved to act like they were a pain in the ass (and they often were) but he loved them dearly and couldn’t imagine a life without them. Tubbo always said that he was here because Tommy was his best friend but in reality, life at home was more and more unbearable, his parents hating each other, on the verge of the divorce all the time (and Tubbo wished they’d did it) so life with the Sleepy Bois Incorporated (like they called themselves), wasn’t that bad. He hoped his future family would be like that, his kids as close as those brothers that were, in some way, his. No one in the family talked about Tubbo’s parents but in silence, they all knew, since the beginning, since Tommy came back from their house, saying that he would never go back there. That’s why, when they moved, they asked Tubbo to help them chose a house. Because it was his, as much as it was their. And Tubbo knew. The night after they asked him to help them chose, after they listened to what he wanted in his room, he cried in his bed. Not from sadness, no, not at all. He cried from the overwhelming happiness he felt that day. They were his family, he was family.

One day came when Techno heard of a government. It was a dictatorship, and the people was begging for the help of some kind soul. He had to go. But he couldn’t just leave his brothers. After a long talk with them (and an even longer with Wilbur after Tommy and Tubbo went to sleep), he decided to go. He had to. He made Wilbur promise to send him crows twice a week. He told them all that he loved them and, after one last look at them, one last shed tear, he left. It was supposed to be just the time to take down the dictatorship but then he heard that there was another abusive government. He had to help them too. His brothers understood what he was doing and why he was doing it. They were supporting him, and Phil too. So he went, having letters from Wilbur twice a week. One day, he heard that Tommy had left to go on his own adventure. He was a little bit worried but knowing that their baby brother had to send Will crows every day and was with Tubbo. If they were together, they’d be safer. Right? Right…? Yeah, of course.

When he began to really worry about his brothers is when he heard that Tommy was in a bit of problems. Wilbur was also worried but he tried to calm himself because, his baby brother knew how to fight, he learned with Techno for God’s sake! When the third day without news came around, Will sent a letter to Techno, really worried. What if something bad happened? What if he was in bad shape, bad enough to not be able to send a letter? What if this green guy got him? What is going on Techno? Should I have gone with them? Should I have done something else? Fuck, you can’t answer me what I am doing? I have to go. Right? I should. I… Fuck. It’s Tommy we’re talking about… If something bad happened Mom would’ve told us. I have to believe in him.

After a week without news, Wilbur send a crow to Techno that really worried his big brother. He was going after Tommy and Tubbo. Without any news, he had to find them. Techno thought about joining him but there still was some government that needed to be taken down. And Wilbur is going there. He can trust him. Phil was also a bit worried, he heard about a green man going after Tommy and Tubbo and that Wilbur was joining them but, if something really bad was happening, Kristen would intervene. She wasn’t ready to see her sons once again. And he is still receiving the weekly crow from Will, so everything’s fine! Techno still waited for the crows every few day, wanting to know more about his baby brothers. When he got that they are all fine, he calmed down. He continued to take down government, making some friends on the way. He read about this L… L’man… L’Manberg? That was it, right? What even is this name? But it was fun for Will and Tommy so it’d be fun for him too.

On the back of his mind however, he was worried about Will’s letters. There was something weird about it, the way Will’s usual neat writing was less and less controlled, the way he talked about this L’Manberg, this government he was making… But maybe it was all in his mind. I mean, it’s Will we’re talking about! He knows the bad in government, he won’t be making any mistakes. And he does it for Tommy. Because, with this independent country, this Dream, this green man, won’t be able to attack their baby brother. He and Tubbo would be protected. Yeah, maybe this government wasn’t that bad after all. But… What was those scribbles on the back of the letters? Tyranny? Rulers? Special place? And who was this Eret? Was he a friend?

One day, he understood, it was their anthem. The L’Manberg National Anthem. Eret seemed to be with them. From what Techno could make out of the little information about him, he was with them, creating L’Manberg. So Techno was reassured. It seemed to be good. Till this green man forced them to war. When Techno received the letter of this day, it was full of anger toward Dream. He seemed to be a real danger. Maybe he should go. Maybe he should join them. Maybe, for the first time of his life, he should help create a government… Maybe he could make it a good one! But… He was in the middle of the destruction of a government. He couldn’t just leave like that. After that, he’d join them. Yeah, they’d be fine for a couple of days without him… Right?

His blood froze when he saw the latest letter. It was full of scribbles, nothing could be make out clear with that. Wilbur frantically wrote about what Eret had done. “TRAITOR” “FUCK YOU” “YOU FUCKED UP” “HOW COULD YOU” “WE HAD A DREAM” “WE COULD MAKE IT” “YOU’LL PAY” “TRAITOR” “TRAITOR” “FUCK YOU”. And on the back, the new anthem… Before it was “With Wilbur, Tommy, Tubbo and Eret” and now it was “With Wilbur, Tommy, Tubbo, fuck Eret”. The fuck was underlined three times. And what used to be “It’s L’Manberg” became “MY L’Manberg”. On one “My” the paper was almost teared apart because of how much Wilbur insisted on the letter. Techno’s breath was stuck, his heart was frantically beating in his ears as he watched the letter in his trembling hands. Wilbur isn’t fine. And if Will isn’t, what about Tommy and Tubbo? He had to go.

He let everything behind, going to Phil’s first, in hopes that he might know more. For days he didn’t make a stop, pushing his horse at his extremes in hopes of getting there as soon as possible. When he arrived to his father’s house, he wasn’t fine, but he needed to leave soon after. Phil wasn’t home, doing some wok for his wife. Techno looked through the letters and what he saw terrified him. Will seemed totally fine. There was nothing about Eret’s betray. Nothing about the threats of Dream. Will seemed fine… His writing was neat, controlled, normal! At least, it was if you didn’t look too close. Something was wrong and he need to join them quickly. So he went, not even taking the time to wait for Phil, he just left a message, saying that he was joining his brother because of this whole government thing, hoping his father would think he only misses them (and he does but he’ll die before admitting it). He goes on his way and he’s fucking far away from them.

When he arrives, Will tells him everything, how Tommy sacrificed his discs to get their independence, how he tried to be elected, how Quackity sold them, how Schlatt revoked their citizenship… Everything. And while Techno was proud of his baby brother for giving away his discs that he seemed to love more than anything, he was also worried about Wilbur, he seemed frantic… He didn’t seem fine. He wanted to take down Manberg (this Schlatt guy removed the L for no reason). Maybe, he just needed to do it. Maybe it was what he had to do… To calm Wilbur… To get his brother back. So that’s what he does. He helps his brothers against Schlatt, he gives them armors, weapons, potions and everything they need to destroy Manberg. Will joins Dream and gets TNT. Techno also joins the green man a couple of times, expecting him to betray him at the first opportunity but it doesn’t happen. He stays on his side till they finish what they began to do.

And after taking down Schlatt, Wilbur makes Tommy president. Techno stops in his steps. His vision gets blurry as he hears Tommy give a speech. He was here to take down a government not put his baby brother at the head of this… Wilbur became crazy because of this government. He… Techno looks down at his shaking hands, he made that. He made his baby brother president. He… He helped a coup… He… He has to stop that. He has to make sure this government doesn’t make Tommy lose his mind. He has to make sure his baby brother will stay sane. Even if it means he will hate him. He has to do it and hopes that things will get better. He looks up, seeing that they’re all cheering about this victory. His shaking hands calm down as he clenches his fists. He has to stop all this.

His voice is louder than everyone else’s, stopping their cheering. They begin to fight, yelling at each other when Techno realizes that Wilbur isn’t here. His heart begins to race as he frantically looks around, searching for his brother that clearly wasn’t sane. Suddenly, he realize that Philza is here. Their father’s here. He will take good care of his second born. Techno goes back to fight Tommy, reassured about Will. If only he knew…

Suddenly, the ground explodes beneath his feet. He jumps around, going away from the explosion. His heart beats in his ears as he searches for Wilbur. He knows what this is. He knows it’s the 11 stacks of TNT buried under the place. When he finds his dear little brother yelling at Phil “My L’Manberg! My unfinished symphony!”. His breathing quickens in his throat as he runs towards him. His heart beats even faster when he sees Wilbur putting his sword in Phil’s hand. No… It can’t be happening! No! Will no! “Kill me! Kill! Killza! They all want you to! Kill me! Phil, kill me!” Please, no…

He freezes in his steps when he sees Will falling into their father’s arm, his sword piercing his chest. Will’s face relaxes, a small smile on his lips. Phil’s body slightly shakes, tears running down his cheeks. Techno’s world crumbles around him, the ground disappearing under his feet. Tears threaten to spill on his cheeks as he realizes that no government could ever be good. No government could be a good one. The only one he had hopes in killed his brother. He has to protect Tommy and Tubbo from it. He has to destroy it. He has to.

He goes back to the fight, explaining to Tommy that he is Theseus. But a part of him thinks he also is Theseus. He tried to help, he destroyed government, he became a hero and for what? To see is brother get kill by his father? To not be able to protect his own family from a government? He tried to save them and got punished for that… He should’ve stop them sooner. He shouldn’t have left them. He killed his brother. And he won’t let it happen to Tommy. Even if he has to hate him. As long as he’s safe, he won’t mind being hated.

After that, he decides to retire. He had enough. But he’ll stay close enough in case Tommy needs him. One day, in his cabin, as he takes care of an injured fox, a voice stops him in his movement. He could’ve swear that it was his… No, he died. He died from their father’s hand. “Hello?” asks the innocent voice. Techno is crazy. Yeah, he must be. He turns around, sighing while running a hand over his face. Suddenly, he stops in his tracks. He’s here. But it’s not him. It’s a gray version of him. But it’s the same voice, the same smile, the same innocent eyes… The humanoid thing begins to explains that he is a ghost, Wilbur’s ghost. Techno stumbles to him, slowly putting a hand on his cheek. Wilbur? Ghostbur? The ghost stops talking, looking at him confused. And Techno just loses it. For the first time in forever, he cries, falling into his brother’s arm. He’s shaken by tears for a long time before finally not having anymore. He apologizes to… Ghostbur? Yeah, Ghostbur. The ghost looks at him, searches in the chests and gives blue to Techno, saying it will take away his sadness. And he does. For a moment, the older brother laughs taking the blue in his hand. After that, Ghostbur comes around quite a lot, telling him what’s happening in New L’Manberg. His heart breaks when he hears that Tubbo exiled Tommy, how could he exile his best friend? The one that gave him a family? How could he? Well at least now, his baby brother was far away from this hellhole that took their brother’s life…

Techno loved Ghostbur with all his being because this little dude had all his brother’s innocence. He looked like Will when he was a kid, begging Techno to play with him. That’s why the big piglin/human anarchist that can have an army of dogs and Wither takes always some of his time to play with the ghost. That’s why he never raises his voice on him. That’s why, even in a rush knowing the Butcher Army is coming at him, he still talks with Ghostbur, listens to him, answers him while making potions. And that, this Butcher Army, he can’t understand why Tubbo would betray him. But he does, he comes and threaten him. He had retired! He wanted to just make sure Tommy and Tubbo could be okay! But this Quackity, really wants to kill him. And Tubbo follows him.

So Techno goes after the one he considered like a brother. He trained him, he should be able to fight back! But Techno is so angry that no one can stop him. His eyes struck on Tubbo, red with hate, for the young boy, for Will who let the power get to his mind, for Phil that actually killed his brother, for Tommy that stayed with L’Manberg after that, and for himself. Oh, he is so angry at himself. For leaving his brothers, for not coming earlier, for not stopping Will, for following him in his delusion, for giving them armor, weapons, the weapon that killed his brother. Tears threaten to fall down his cheeks as he hits again and again Tubbo’s shield. Suddenly, he hears Quackity threaten his horse. The horse that Will loved, the horse that Will named, the horse that Ghostbur remembers… He can’t loose him. So, with a defeated sigh, he puts his weapons and armor down. He keeps some stuff, notably a totem of undying, just in case…

Passing through New L’Manberg, he sees Phil in his house. Acting surprised while seeing his first born in the hands of the Butcher Army. Once there, he realizes that there is no judgment, this is an execution, his execution. Fear creeps under his skin as he squeezes the totem in his left hand, looking at the anvil above his head. A soft voice from his left distracts him from the guy that jumped on the ground to attack the butcher army. Turning his head, he sees Ghostbur with the sheep he found earlier. His heart calms down for a moment, hearing the innocent ghost talk about his friend. Techno takes out some blue to give to Ghostbur, hoping that he’ll leave and not witness his execution. But before he can, the anarchist hears the anvil falls down. His heart stops as he watch it fall on him.

For a second he can feel it again. For a second, he feels his mother’s embrace around him. He feels her love, her protection. He hears her “You did your best, I’m proud of you my son…” Then, as soon as it came, it disappears. He feels the cold and hurtful take of life around him. He loudly breathes in, shock washing over him as he looses his balance for a second, a single tears falling down his face as he thinks about his mother.

Without having the time to calm down, he gets out of the cage, seeing Dream with his horse, Will’s horse. He has to get it back. He runs toward him, ignoring the butcher army calling him. Dream leaves quickly, letting Techno with his horse and a chest with armor, tools, potions and a couple of stuff. His breath hitches in his chest as fear of loosing his horse because he can’t get it out of here creeps under his skin. Quackity gets to him before he can leave and he has to fight him. As always, he acts as if everything is under control as a nervous chuckle leaves his mouth. He fought, like he never did before, solely to protect his horse, the last remaining thing he had from his brother. Once Quackity’s remains are on the floor in front of him, he breathes out, running to get out of here.

The following days he realizes he has to totally destroy this country. It took his brother, it made his brother’s best friend try to kill him, it is devilish. It needs to be destroyed. For days he prepares for this war, getting everything needed, getting what he needs to make an army of Withers… If they want war, they’ll get Doomsday. One day, as Ghostbur leaves once again, Friend (his blue ship, gosh what a lovely idiot he is) by his side, Techno hears a soft voice, just above a whisper. He quickly turns around, searching who talk, if he became crazy, or if like Will, his ghost is here to salute him. His eyes stop on the frail young man, his frail young man… “Can I stay with you for a bit? I need a place to stay…” He asks shyly, looking away.

Techno stays still for a few seconds before opening his arms with a warm smile. Tommy throws himself in his big brother’s arms, letting tears fall down his face. Techno brings his cold baby brother inside, making a fire with one hand to get him to warm up. After Tommy stops crying, they sit in front of the fireplace, talking about their life together with warm tea in their hands. Ghostbur joins them a little later, joking with them, telling them about his life. And just like that, Phil opens the door, seeing his three kids joking together like they used to not so long ago. His wings surround himself as he feels his wife’s embrace, hearing her cheer him up. After a moment, he joins his kids, teasing them while he puts his wings around all of them like when they were kids.

In the next few days, they get closer and closer, till Dream comes around, searching for the youngest. Techno helps him to hide, lies to the green blob to get him away. And he does, he leaves. After that, they begin to talk about their vengeance against New L’Manberg. Techno shows Tommy his Wither skulls, telling him he’s ready to take on the whole world for his baby brother. And he does, he goes to New L’Manberg, he is ready to fight them all but instead, he sees his brother gets back with the ones that betrayed him. How could he do that? Can’t he see that this L’Mannberg destroyed their relation, destroyed their family?! After that, he flees out, keeping his tears of anger inside. How could he? He was ready to fight God to protect his baby brother and instead, he choose to get back with the ones that betrayed him, send him in exile, didn’t risk their lives to protect him! How the fuck could he?! Something’s for sure, he’s going to destroy New L’Manberg, even if he has to go down with it.

For weeks he gets ready for the fight, meeting Dream to join him for this common goal. He lies to him, saying he has a couple of Wither’s head (around 10, not that much but that totally will be enough!). Phil prepares with him, making sure to have a totem of undying in his right hand at all time. Techno’s not ready to have his father’s ghost with him. He can’t live without him, not yet… And once ready, they go. They get to New L’Manberg, Techno getting his dog army to fight the whole country. The battle begins and it is really Doomsday.

Withers fly around, way to numerous for being normal, L’Manberg’s people dying again and again and again, dogs attacking everyone, getting killed at the same time. And finally, Dream enters the play, showering the ground with TNT, hoping to make a big hole at the place of this country that stole his ground. He'd rather want no one having it than those having it. And then, Techno gets to talk with Tommy, explaining why he did it (hiding his real intentions because he’ll die before admitting that he loves his baby brother). After the battle, there is nothing left from this country that robed him of his family, of his brothers.

But when he sees Tommy, kneeling on the ground, letting himself get killed by a Wither, tears falling down his face as he looks at the remains of the Camravan, the one that began everything, the last thing he had from Wilbur, Techno doubts. Was it really the only solution? Did it have to go down this way? Couldn’t he just do something else? He wanted to join his brother, to take him in his arms, to console him, to let him cry against him but Tommy wouldn’t let him. So instead, he kills the Withers getting too near and makes sure no TNT falls on him or the Camravan. Tommy sees him and realizes, he did it all for him. From his point of view, this country took away everything he had. And Tommy couldn’t take a second to consider it. So he risked everything to try and save him from here, from what he thought would kill him. And Tommy hated him, tried to kill him, hell he tried to kill his own father! How could Techno continue to try to protect him, to protect what he was attached to? He should hate him, he should watch him die, yet he was saving him, risking his life to stop what he began, just for him…

He closes his eyes, hoping that all this was just a nightmare, that he’d wake up in his bed, with Will and Techno by his side. Techno would be soothing him, telling him about a Greek story while Wilbur would play a soft tune on his guitar. But instead, he feels this warm reassuring embrace surround him, his mother’s voice reassuring, him, her hands wiping his tears, all that stopping his tears. When he opens his eyes, he sees people shocked at him, he looks around and see that a TNT exploded right behind him. His mother protected him. Like Techno did. Him and their father were looking at him, a sad smile on their lips. Both had recognized what happened. They knew she gave him one of his life. Like she did when Eret betrayed him. Like she did for Wilbur during Eret’s betrayal and the day of Schlatt’s election. They knew he only had one life left. Both wished they could give him one, even if it was the only one Phil had. But they couldn’t, so they left, knowing they weren’t welcome here.

After that, L’Manberg was never rebuild. They put glass above the holes to commemorate and remember what happened so that it would never happen again. Everyone went their own way, Tommy going from place to place, lost without L’Manberg, the thing he dedicated his whole life, for which he died twice. He wanted to go back to Techno and Phil but he gave them enough problems already, he couldn’t do it anymore, not now that they finally lived peacefully. The father and first born enjoyed life together, Ghostbur coming from time to time, telling them all about his day.

One day, at the first reunion of the Syndicate, Ranboo gave them horrible news. The news they never wanted to hear. “Tommy died, Dream killed him”. Techno's heart sank. He couldn’t protect his baby brother. He couldn’t be there when he really needed him. He helped destroy his life. And now, he was waiting. Everyday he woke up with fear. He waited the whole day, looking out the window. He waited to see the gray version of his baby brother, like it happened for Wilbur. But this day never came. Instead, Ghostbur came around, telling him about how Tommy came back to life. So Techno questioned him, he needed to know what happened.

Dream beat the youngest to death then revived him with a book. He could revive people… Could he revive Wilbur? He probably could but he shouldn’t. The Will that got killed was crazy, he needed to be stop. If he came back to life, he would be a danger. And Techno would lose Ghostbur… He would lose his brother once again… But it happened. Dream killed Ghostbur in front of Tommy’s helpless eyes. And he revived Wilbur but this Wilbur was even crazier than the one Phil killed. This Wilbur, Techno couldn’t trust him. He needed to take him down, he needed to stop him. So when Quackity told him that Dream wanted to see him, he went, even if he knew it was a trap, he had to get information and help to stop his brother. After a last look at Friend that he found wondering, searching for his little ghost, he went on his way to the prison.

Like he expected, it was a trap. But what he didn’t expect was that Phil would’ve misunderstood him and thought he had to wait three months instead of a few days. After the first week, Techno thought he was becoming crazy, he was counting every seconds, hoping to teleport back in the Syndicate’s room. But it didn’t happen. He befriended Dream, acting as if everything was fine when he was terrorized. He could stay away for a few days, Phil could look after Tommy for this time but three months… How would his baby brother be when he came back? If he came back… So he prayed. He prayed to his mother, saying that he’d pay for everything he did, saying that he’d give his three lives if Tommy could be alive. But she didn’t answer. A god came by DreamXD. He asked for a bell, passing for an idiot in front of Dream, but he knew that this bell could allow him to talk with superior entities, seemingly gods. They helped him in the past, those voices advised him, gave him money, support, everything he needed. So he begged for them to let his baby brother have a chance to live a long peaceful life and die of old age.

But then one day, as Quackity was about to kill him, he felt his body move without his consent. Suddenly, the room changed, it wasn’t the cell anymore it was… It was… The Syndicate’s room! He was out of the prison! He was free! He was finally free and what a good timing! Quackity was about to… He was about to… God, he had to free Dream before Quackity killed him. His smiled disappeared as he turned to look at Phil “We have to go. Now.” He left the room, putting back on his armor, getting his weapons, tools and everything he needed to take on the prison. But before leaving, he went to his room.

The room he hid from everyone. The room full of the real him. The room with his memories. Friend was here, way more fluffy than before. The photos of his family, of the good days. The photos of Kristen nursing his brothers while he looked in her arms. The photos of Phil flying with all of them when Tommy was still a baby. The photos of the three brothers sleeping together after sneaking out of their room to watch Hamilton. There even was some photos of them in Pogtopia! Their whole lives were here, on the walls, in the photo albums. Techno ran a hand over Friend’s wool, biting back the tears before leaving.

He took his axe in hand, his grip on the handle tight as he walked away from his cabin. He had to free Dream, so that he could take down Wilbur. And maybe after that, he would ask him why he did all that to his brothers. Maybe he’d find again this anger he once had for him. Maybe he’d avenge his brothers. And maybe, just maybe, he’d have to join his mother. Maybe this time, he’ll be ready to be grounded for this kitchen that he burned down so long ago.

And while leaving, he felt it, his mother’s embrace, her reassurance, her love. And with that, he knew. He’d be able to take down the world. His mother was behind him. After all, he always was his mother’s son. And if he needed to avenge his brother, she would be here, she would terrify anyone that would dare try to stop him. With her, he’ll never be alone again.
