Some crappy sketches from college.
Ok, maybe I'll stick around this concept for a little longer. I absolutely love hcs for this silly from @halwardthefirst and especially these ones + my hc that mermaid!Peter likes to eat worms. Y'know, cus he's half fish. And also brainless blorbo.
Couple of sketches before I go to bed. I'm still trying to figure out this man's character, but I feel I'm getting closer.
And yeah we're getting angsty with the last one. I mean, if this goober hates his nature so much, why wouldn't his human idol do the same if they ever met? Once again, thanks to @halwardthefirst, I love your ideas for this messy merman
And also, ngl, sometimes I just wanna find some pathetic man and crush his ribs with my embrace. That's partly the point in this case. I'm very normal about this dead dumbass russian emperor, I swear

Some more facts about merman!Peter:
• when he is nervous, he unconsciously tugs at his hair and instinctively covers his gills with it
• prefers to swim in rivers so as not to swim out into the open sea (his aunt lives there)
• hates to openly show his fear and gets very angry when he is forced to do so (it applies to human Peter too btw)
• can make a high-pitched dolphin-like screech when suddenly startled
• he can breathe air outside of water, but he uses a human respiratory system to do so, not gills (I haven't fully thought through the anatomy of mermaids in this AU yet, sorry)
• his gills are very sensitive
I just suddenly remembered how about a year ago I read a Frederick/Peter fanfic, where Peter was not killed and he fled to Prussia, where Frederick comforted him once after a nightmare, because this creature was heavily traumatized by the events of the coup.
It was the first fanfic about Peter that I read, and yes, it was definitely an experience. Now this mental image lives in my head rent free whether I like it or not I like it
definitely not me feeling the constant urge to make any sort of content featuring one specific russian emperor until hyperfixation burns itself outta brain

A little comeback to my OCs. I just randomly thought "what if Pavel had his deformed disproportionate clone?" So that's how this Fake Peppino looking mf was born. It may be considered as updated demon version of Pavel which is not demon anymore but failed scientific experiment (Pavel lore is kinda messed up at this point). I still dunno if his existence is canon or not, but here he is anyway.
So, since I have nothing to post, I'll leave these guys here. This is my portfolio work, drawn back in June, so the quality is not the best. These guys are my OCs (have nothing to do with Pavel btw), Kenrick and Augustus.
I saw these two in a dream, but I don't remember the plot, so their lore is pretty messy right now. But the gist is that these two are at court, plotting against each other, but they don't know it, and everyone around them has to watch over and over again as these two can't put two and two together. Love these dumbasses :3
Pavel and his failed clone Pavlik (I dunno how else to call him). In fact Pavlik just wants to eat Pavel, and Pavel hates any image of himself, including Pavlik. So it's only a matter of time before they try to tear each other apart. The best family dynamic :)
Unfortunately, today the illegal citizen Pavlik was eaten by a citizen @halwardthefirst in an extremely cruel manner, because he is, I quote, a "critter". R.I.P.
I mean- I already have one Pavel in a dress, so I definitely need a second one. Pavlik thought so too, I think.
So, two more of my OCs. They are from the same universe as Kenric and Augustus. The whole story has the atmosphere of a sitcom set in the 16th-17th centuries, so nothing that happens should be taken seriously (seriously, don't).
These two are named Hubert and Maud, one a crown prince whose birth was preceded by generations of incestuous relationships between his ancestors, and the other from a simple peasant family that has existed for centuries due to natural selection. They are 18 and 19 years old, they are husband and wife, and the story of their relationship is literally "Cinderella", but if Cinderella had a healthy, complete family (and no fairy), and the prince was just an unhappy, half-blind hemophiliac who only needs care and understanding.
They are the few things that keep me mentally healthy.
I'm a huge sucker for hurt/comfort, it's just like an air for me. So I decided to do these sketches with my blorbos where Maud comforts Hubert after him having a nightmare. And since Hubert has serious vision problems, Maud makes sure he sees her and knows that she's there for him.

The livestream on Saturday went really well! Had a lot of fun taking requests at the end of it. We even made a new friend to dote over, lovingly named the Capadragon. Due to popular demand, you can now find stickers and t-shirts of him in the store!
