The first time I have to agree with Helmut Marko - Sergio was too aggressive under wet conditions towards his own teammate, he could've caused unnecessary harm. And it was natural for Max to be just as aggressive to get his position back

My father and I talked about that theory and he said "It would cost too much for a team to build two different cars, so there is almost zero chance for Perez to have an inferior car"

once again people are trying to create a narrative about both cars not being the same when it comes to explaining the gap between max and checo instead of simply admitting that max is the superior driver

at this point i just need one single reporter to ask checo if his car is the same as max or he is being sabotaged by his own team on camera to see him humiliated and embarrassed. i need to see him explain by his own words why he is so bad compared to max

that way we can stop all these fucking stupid conspiracy theories

Why are people like this? If you don't like someone that's okay, not everyone can like you; But from there to openly saying that you don't like a person who probably doesn't know you or who you are is unpleasant. I don't know the reasons, maybe it's because he's Mexican, because he did something that you didn't like, he offended you, or you don't have a reason. I hope they give him a penalty or ban him from events, a person like that does not deserve those privileges, although it is just my opinion.

I just saw the insta stories of a certain fashion influencer who claims to be a F1 fan, that posted a story regarding the race today saying 'Sergio Perez count your mf days', and I would like to say that is one thing to post something on twt or tumblr where not a lot of people are going to see (but still is awful), and is another to post it in the big platform you have which in the end incentivates the hate towards a POC driver

And this is not the first time she has done it, and even when throwing hate, she has been invited to Patrón Tequila events (who are one of Checo sponsors), and also she has done some questionable things

Tried the thing where you send F1 drivers to your friend who doesn’t follow F1. I am still crying at this :D Thanks to @fancydunamancy for your patience and creativity :D Also I may post the All Stars round we did, including past drivers :D

leclerc on pole. perez outqualifying max for the first time this season. both williams in the points (with colapinto ahead of albon). ollie almost getting into q3 and outperforming hulkenberg. oscar in p2 and lando in p17. the ONE TIME i miss qualifying

some other baku thoughts:

-awesome for leclerc, he definitely tried everything to get past osc good for him

-p3 for russell, nice. checo officially the worst out of the top 8

-so sad for checo that would've been his first podium since shanghai TT0TT he drove rly well too. and sad for carlos asw

-max couldn't complete that fast lap bc of the crash, so norris ended up with more points (still below the average he needs to win the wdc, but very impressive considering he started p15)

-also, amazing recovery drive from lando. sucks that his quali went the way it did but oh well. good recovery from lewis to get points asw

-OLLIE BEARMAN IN THE POINTS!! THE FIRST PERSON TO SCORE POINTS IN TWO DIFFERENT TEAMS IN HIS FIRST TWO RACES (that's such a specific record but whatever)

-AND BOTH WILLIAMS!! P7 FOR ALBON AND P8 FOR FRANCO!! NICE :DD

-rip yuki having to retire at the start of the race. im fine i promise.

You know if this is Daniel's last race the thing that really gets me is the horseshit management of Red Bull/VCARB

Checo isn't fast enough. You're in danger of losing your constructors. So you decide you're probably going to put Daniel in the Red Bull seat in the summer. You send messages ahead to the next race to tell people not to put up Checo's promotional images.

Not so fast, Checo's sponsors say, so you leave Perez in the seat and give up on the constructors' because it's easier to get money from sponsorship than to cover the constructors'.

You want more points with VCARB, you say. You want more points but you keep effing up both your drivers with strategy and putting upgrades on the car that make them go backwards.

I know what we'll do, you say. We'll leave Daniel out for the wolves in Singapore and tell media that it isn't his last race until oops, it might be. We haven't told him though, so he can't say a proper goodbye if it is. We'll just hand him one last shit strategy and watch as he swallows it and takes fastest lap to help Max's championship. For shits and giggles we'll kill Yuki's strategy too, for fairness.

But if Daniel's gone after Singapore, what will Red Bull/VCARB do?

Let's see here. You have Checo, who went backwards in Singapore and can't help the constructors. You have Yuki, who's fast on track but can't give feedback well and has trouble keeping his emotions down on track. You have Liam, who's all well and deserving of a VCARB seat but won't be ready for Red Bull until a few years later.

You have nobody. You still haven't solved the problem of Max's teammate after six years. You refuse to let go of Checo, who shouldn't have been here after the summer break. You won't ever take the chance and promote Yuki to see if a stint in a senior team will work out for him. You'll have fired your best development and update feedback driver for your secondary team.

Carlos has gone to Williams. George, which Christian mentioned, won't ever leave Mercedes. Oscar and Lando will stay at McLaren. You asked Alex last year, and Alex laughed in your face.

And Max can no longer win the constructors' by himself in the car you give him.

It started in the summer break. Red Bull took a gun and pointed it in their own faces and slowly pulled back the trigger and it was only until now, six races from the end off the season, that we see what the bullet will do.

Was it weird that straight after I watched that last RBR youtube video abut switching jobs with their trainers, I immidiately searched Rupert X Jose on AO3?

I saw fic potential, but nobody wrote it yet. Which was logical. But I still wanna read these non-existing fics.

Journal Entry - 3

Pain is something that can be forgotten if that one person that you love gives you a smile. Butterflies, jitters, rainbows! Yea, that's my heart right now. I can melt right away. Right in front of him. Pierre Gasly has a beautiful smile!

Those sparkling eyes when he smiles has the power to light up my whole world. But why did he smile at me today?

Let me tell you what exactly happened.

I woke up a little late today because of all the crying I did yesterday. I went into the washroom to take a shower and freshen up and when I saw myself in the mirror I was scared of myself! Like seriously I look like a fucking zombie! Tear stains and melted mascara stains all over my face. But what's worse are my eyes. They were blood red and super swollen. No makeup, no face wash could cover that shit up. But I couldn't let Pierre see me like that. So the only thing that I could think of was wearing sunglasses. BIG BLACK SUNGLASSES! That too inside the house cause I wasn't allowed to go anywhere outside unless it was one of his races or events, where we'd have to pretend to be a super happy and In love kind of a couple. Life Sucks for me. Anyways I changed and was going to go down when I heard noises coming from the kitchen. Other than me no one usually goes inside the kitchen , so who might it be?

A little bit curious and also frightened I went inside the kitchen only to find my ever charming husband sporting the brightest radiant smile I've ever seen. My Husband Pierre Gasly! Standing right there with black shorts and a tight fitting black tshirt. His muscles stretching and struggling from it. The tshirt seems to be too tight but he still looks like a prince.

To be very honest it was a bit weird for me. Okay chuck it! It was very weird for me but I just played it cool by returning a very awkward smile to him.

" Good morning and thanks Y/n" Woah! That was the first time he actually wished me good morning. I seriously felt like I was on cloud 9 but I don't really keep high hopes in life anymore since I have lost a lot of things in this journey.

"Good morning to you too , but why thank you?"

"Oh! Yes, actually thank you for yesterday. You prepared the soup and the medicine for Julia" those words made me want to stab myself . After a whole night of torture and tears he finally finally smiled at me for the first time and that too the reason was Julia. That bitch of a step sister. Who is stealing my husband day by day from me. But who cares if the person who's supposed to actually care does not care about me.

I sometimes think if he ever thinks about me? About my happiness or, I'm just a mere housemate for him? Actually what's funny is that even the housemates are treated better than I am . Also I'm a bit disappointed. Why did he not ask me why was I wearing those hideous sunglasses? Why was I late to wake up this morning? But no, no questions of such were asked by him.

But you know what? I'm not complaining cause this was the first time he actually smiled at me properly.

That's all I've ever wanted. A little bit of genuine recognition from him. Not because of the camera's, not because of the families. Not pretentious.

And so I , Mrs.Y/n Gasly is again LOST!

This one's a filler chapter, so please bear with me.

Something completely different happened today. A knock at my door woke me up from my 1 hour nap which has unfortunately turned into a 3 hour nap. I stood up from the bed and opened the door only to find my husband standing there and running a hand through his curls. Oh! What a sight! He looks like a Greek God.

"Hey! Did you need something? I'm sorry I fell asleep, also you can come inside"

He thanked me and entered my room, this is completely new. But nonetheless, I had to take a chance. He was looking around the room and the pictures hanging on the walls. His eyes stuck to one picture in particular. A picture captured by Pierre's mom of Isaac, Pierre and myself. It was Halloween and Isaac wanted to be a Vampire and on the other hand Pierre and Me were Romeo and Juliet. He was 6 and I was 4! We did not even know who Romeo and Juliet were! It was because of the elders who had insisted on these costumes! Oh! What I'd give to have those days back.

"You need something?"

"Ah! No, um actually yes, I have to attend an event with the rest of grid tomorrow. And you have to come with me. So be ready by 7pm tomorrow, will you? Wear something nice. I'll send someone with dresses for you to choose today in the evening. Just pick something from there."

There it is! Like I've mentioned before, he only remembers me when he needs something or needs to go somewhere to show off the world our so called amazing married life. *Scoff* But I'm not mad, at least I'll be able to meet HIM after so many days. The only person who happens to care even a little bit for me. Who always greets me with a beautiful smile on his face. A friend? Nope, he's like an angel for me.

I really hope everyone gets a friend like him!

" *Cough* *cough* You there?"

" Oh yea! I'm sorry, I was a bit distracted. Umm, Why don't you take Julia with you? I'm sure she would love to accompany you and also I'm sure she has several dresses in her wardrobe already. Won't even have to buy a dress last minute"

The look Pierre gave me after I mentioned Julia simply yelled 'ARE YOU CRAZY'. I mean I knew why he wouldn't take Julia, but I just find a different kind of satisfaction by reminding it to him.

"Um, I'll be ready tomorrow. Don't worry. By the way, where's Julia?"

"I sent her home, no need for her to stay here for these two days, either way we'd be busy. It'll only distract us."

Oh well! That was odd! Distract us from what exactly? Sometimes this man leaves no tables unturned to confuse me to no end. Anyways. I know better now than to crack my brain over these things. It's actually useless cause I won't get anymore clear answers from him than this.

"Any specific colour that I need to keep in mind while choosing the dress?"

"Not that I'm aware of, just keep it a bit formal. I'll get going. If Julia calls or comes asking for me, just tell her I've been out for a meeting since morning."

And then he rushed out the door, not before checking our childhood photo once again. Okay! That was highly confusing! I mean why was he avoiding Julia? Or am I reading too much between the lines? No one knows. I better go eat something until then.

But still, I'm a bit lost here.
