I participated in the 2024 Title Swap event on the Pokespe discord, this is the piece I made and it goes with an amazing story written by Bean!
havent posted my art in a while, so here; a tattoo I'm making for my step-dad all the Pokemon represent one of his kids (I guess my oldest sister doesn't count in his eyes, but whatever.) i'm the Eevee, my twin is the Charmander, my second oldest sister is the Snivy, my younger sister is the Pikachu, and my baby brother is the Bulbasaur. the bandanas have some sort of representation, like a favorite color, or something significant to the person. The rainbow is because my baby brother just doesn't have a favorite color yet, but he does really like rainbows. I would've made it normal rainbow, but my step-dad said "make it a rainbow, but don't make it gay.." so.. not really sure what makes it 'gay' other than its ties to the lgbt, but whatever, I just had the excuse to make it look kinda like paint dripping up. The pikachu's bandana is pink and red because her favorite color is pink, but she really likes Pooh Bear, so there in comes the red. The Snivy's bandana is purple because she used to have a purple stuffed bear that she had for over 17 years. She eventually stopped replacing it, but it's still significant. The Charmander's bandana is that green because it's their favorite color, and they have a wristband thingy because of a small cloth they have sentimental attachments to. The Eevee's bandana is an upside-down paint drip of the Nonbinary flag because I am Nonbinary, but I don't really want him knowing that, so I changed the flag a bit. He doesn't know what the flag even is, but he's expressed his hate for Nonbinary folk before, so I don't wanna risk it. sorry I went on a rant, I like explaining my art if it's got significant meaning to me :3 anyways, this is just the doodle sketch thing, so it'll look better when it's done!! probably will make 2 versions though, since he's debating on if he wants them shiny or not.
