lying in bed, you continue to let your eyes caress the pages, trying to keep yourself awake. knowing he was on his way home and would arrive any minute now, you do anything to keep yourself from drifting off.
as your eyes start to close, the rattling of the door alerts you, and you can’t help but sigh out, glad the wait was over. dropping the book, you sit up and stretch, hearing soft footsteps walking up to the open door in front of you. hyunjae walks in, catching your barely awake eyes and messy hair as he laughs softly.
having a boyfriend who had a crazy schedule wasn’t exactly ideal, but nothing could keep you away from him. not even the threat of not being able to sleep without him beside you.
he walks over and leaves a soft kiss on your forehead before whispering into your hair “lie down, i’ll be back in a minute..”
having no problem with his request, you lie down and cuddle under the blankets, waiting for him. he keeps his word, and in what feels like 30 seconds you feel his arms wrap around you and pull you close to him. he sighs into your hair, whispering about his day to will you to sleep. you fall asleep, feeling warm and happy having him right there next to you.
soo… i’m becoming a sucker for fluffy hyunjae🤭IM SO EXCITED FOR TBZ COMEBACK, so i’ve become kinda inspired to write something for them!! also school exams are over for now, so i have more time to rest and write🫶🫶
