update: sweets really do always help you make friends :) i brought sweets for the group i was studying with during the first week of classes, and now we have a goofy groupchat and we're carpooling to a Halloween theme park after exams in a few weeks :)
(we're already friends, but i still like to bring sweets to our study sessions/to sneak under the desks during lecture)

random scorbus headcanon: albus has asthma, and scorpius always carries an extra inhaler with him at all times bc he’s so so scared that albus will have an asthma attack and forget his inhaler
now i’m imagining an angsty scenario where a particularly cruel bully takes his inhaler while he’s having an attack. and scorpius loses it. the bully is disarmed and scorpius’ wand is at his throat in a split second and the crowd that gathered to watch are fucking terrified. because they’ve been calling him “son of voldemort” and “deatheater spawn” for years. but this is the first time he’s ever looked like he’s going for blood.
and then he cradles a gasping albus ever-so-gently and helps him breathe in the medicine. the crowd parts around them as he helps albus up to the hospital wing. they’re left alone for the rest of term

I refuse to believe that Harry James Potter, an orphan child who grew up at an abusive household, would ever, EVER , tell his son "Well, there are times I wish you weren't my son."
He would never. He of all people who felt so unwanted for several years, would NEVER tell his son that. No matter what.
Waiting for the day JKR finally announces that the Cursed Child is NOT CANON.
I've pre-ordered at my local bookshop, and I had a binge-read this past week to set myself up. And I'm cosplaying tomorrow to go and collect it.
