Guys Gwen got ink5oul to give a statement after she asked them a question? She even said afterwards that it was very "articulate" which I think was the writers hinting at Gwen compelling. Idk but she is a bouchard like Elias so that's already got her some eye conditions. ANDDDDD we know she has had a run in with something paranormal as she started giving a statement when the archivist came to save her from ink5oul so I think that we are gonna get to hear the rest of that at some point which is more evidence at her at least being marked by a fear sooooooo. Hey, random thought. What if it was Augustus who showed Gwen the footage of Lena failing at the murder?

And, Cheaster could be the one who is giving Sam hints and leads about the Magnus Institute?

That would leave Norris trying to lead Alice to avoiding her lonesome? Or touch base with how she feels about Sam??

Each one has their own motive to help the other. Something they can help the other gain. Status, Answers, and Companionship(?). I feel like there's more I can use to back up this theory. But I suppose we must wait,

Here's a thought:

If norris IS martin, he didn't really get to know what he was doing for Peter Lucas in Season 4 of TMA

Gwen wanted to know, but Lena wasn't going to tell her, for the sake of " Ignorance is bliss," and all that.

Norris didn't want the same vale of deceit for Gwen, so he did what she wanted. Told her what she did.

He really said "here you go" so she can avoid asking unnecessary questions and start asking the important ones.

Alice also eluding to knowing more is unsettling, and makes me think she's pulling a season 1 John.

So I meant to send this the day the episode came out but I have a theory.

In TMA technology and statements did not mesh well, though it could be different in TMP. Colin knows something is up with Freddie. I think it’s more than the Eye though. You know which fear is perfect for the idea of technology? One that hasn’t been explored thoroughly yet, the Extinction. Plus, it’s odd that Colin said “extinct itself” rather than “shut down” or “break”. Saying “extinct itself” stands out and leads me to think it’s a hint to Freddie being linked to the Extinction somehow. It could still be linked to the Eye possibly, but I think the Extinction is a big possibility.
