Not Quite Midnight
Today was a great day. I Love the kid I babysit, and the weather keeps getting warmer each day. I spent the evening with my sister, I made us tacos, then took her too the bakery to get something sweet!🍭🍨

So this was my birthday weekend and to celebrate I held my SO to a promise they made to me.
“I would only watch a Dragon Ball movie if I was high”
So… we got a little high and watched Dragon Ball Super Broly
For context: they have never watched anything related to Dragon Ball, and I spent a lot of time pausing the movie and explaining. Apparently they live tweeted through the whole movie, and I wanted to share their thread

Broccoli boy is my favorite Dragon Ball character
I think I told them to pay attention just before this line was dropped
They did grasp Frieza’s character incredibly quickly
Like, *insanely* quickly
I don’t even know the context for this one but #cancelbrolly
And this was when the fight started and went on for 40 minutes
Not posted about was Cheelai showing up on screen and them immediately saying “that’s a lesbian.”
Gotta say, big fan of watching Dragon Ball while high, the pretty colors and fast action activated my neurons in a good way.
