Happy Blorbo Blursday! Which one of your characters would benefit from modern medication the most? If your characters are modern, what medication would help them that they're not on?
Happy Blorbo Blursday! For Katsuko Gaiden, Katsuko would probably benefit from modern medication the most, being the only human in the cast lol. Also, she takes quite the beating, so it'd definitely help to have some painkillers around. For the other more modern WIPs, the most popularly helpful medication would probably be for anxiety and/or depression, seeing as I love to self-project onto my characters.
Thanks for the ask!

You know, when I see fictional characters who repress all their emotions, they're usually aloof and very blunt about keeping people at a distance, sometimes to an edgy degree—but what I don't see nearly enough are the emotionally repressed characters who are just…mellow.
Think about it. In real life, the person that's bottling up all their emotions is not the one that's brooding in the corner and snaps at you for trying to befriend them. More often than not, it's that friendly person in your circle who makes easy conversation with you, laughs with you, and listens and gives advice whenever you're upset. But you never see them upset, in fact they seem to have endless patience for you and everything around them—and so you call them their friend, you trust them. And only after months of telling them all your secrets do you realize…
…they've never actually told you anything about themselves.

“Yeah,” he says roughly, glancing away from her. Something burns in his chest. He thinks it might be shame. “Yeah. Can’t say I disagree.”
Big: slow and sudden miracles
The other guard huffs out a laugh and moves out the way. “Sorry, Marlene. Let us know if she has the good doctor cable tied to a chair or anything.” “I think we’d have bigger problems on our hands if she managed to do that without you two knowing,” Marlene says, pushing Joel through the door.
Blunt: (didn't have lol)
Beg: i still have love for you (do you still love me too?)
It’s a desperate desire. Makes him want to fall to his knees and beg ( At Eddie’s. Chimney’s. God himself at this point ) for forgiveness. To offer apologies and penance.

Thanks @paintedbutton for the tag!
This is from yet another WIP, called Asteria Heights. I'll probably do an intro for it soon!
In hindsight, Meg feels that when the harpy came crashing through her window, she should’ve called the cops. Instead, she took a long, slow sip of her hot cocoa as she stared at the drunk, gurgling girl, before yelling down the hallway, “Mom, we’re gonna need a new window.” She didn’t wait for her mother to reply before she grabbed her bag and headed for the front door. Just as she slipped on her shoes and was about to make her exit, she heard her mother come padding into the foyer. “What the-” Her mother’s sleepy voice came from behind her. But Meg was already heading down the driveway, having spotted her friend waiting for her in his car. Aven was incredibly short- roughly 5 feet tall, though Meg supposed it was excusable since he was half fairy from his mom’s side. He was as crabby as he was tiny, but that was okay, too, because he was her best friend.
Thanks again for the tag! I'm not following a lot of writeblrs, so I'll be tagging some strangers too lol. Tagging: @amaiguri, @anoelleart, @mrgreatgiant, @sabinabardot, @werehamburglar, @jjsmaybank20, @sqeedledob
