I Don't Give My Characters Tragic Backstories.
I don't give my characters tragic backstories.
I give them happy childhoods that they are unaware of up until the point they've lost it all.

I really like the line "the Gods will make his past known" when they talk about the fate of Astyanax (Hector's son) in the EPIC musical.
I think it's very self-aware and tells much about the nature of Greek Gods. They know that one day when Astyanax grows up he'll inevitably find out that he isn't actually the son of Odysseus. And if no one answers him about his past he'll asks the Gods and there will be at least one of them who can't say no and tells him the truth.
I can just picture it, young Astyanax standing in a shrine or at the seashore or in his room begging the Gods for an answer and one of them will break and tell him that his birth city was destroyed by the very man he called father.
And it would have been another heart breaking tragic.
Happy Pride ya'll!!!

Ungoliant was the original hangry girl
I know we're all crazy about Val and Andy being together, but hear me out! Hear me out!
What if... Andy x Gwen x Casper?

I mean, we've all seen the Last Place Hero videoclip, right? And this way, Gwen could get both the handsome one and the one that fucks well (decide which is which) while the boys get their enemies-to-lovers happy ending.
I think this is a win-win.🤷♀️

Also, I need my poly-representation.
