I am Karim from Gaza, I am 22 years old, a student in the College of Nursing.
I have two brothers, Aboud, who is 10 years old, and Hala, who is almost 12 years old.
My parents are elderly. We are living a tragedy in the October War.
My little brother suffers from malnutrition. My mother lost my brother a few years ago due to the 2014 war.
His name is Aboud as well. She gave birth again and named him Aboud after my brother who died due to the wars on Gaza.
We do not want to lose my second brother. You are our hope. We need your help in order to escape death and live in safety and peace.
We do not want more than to feel safe. I am working to raise money for my family.
I need money to save them from death. We are here in certain death every minute.

One G1 complaint before I actually go and do my take on the Monster High cast (Clawdeen, Draculaura, Frankie Stein, Cleo de Nile, Lagoona Blue, Ghoulia Yelps + Abbey Bonimable, Clawd, Torelei and Duce... Maybe Operetta since I remember she was my favourite) is that Abbey has a Russian accent.
Like G3 did her accent so much better, BECAUSE SHE'S NOT RUSSIAN!
She's from the Himalayas.
If you think she should still have a Russian accent I want you to look at a map spend 10 minutes measuring the distance between the Himalayas and Siberia.
Like I missed the fact she's the daughter of the Yeti because of it, I just thought she's just... Russian something.
Like if I were to make a monster that's Russian/Slavic I'm ALWAYS picking a Rusalka.
For those unaware, Rusalkas are essentially nymphs from the Slavic mythology who lure men to bodies of water to drown them. And it wouldn't be too hard to make them since all the monsters in MH are humanoid + there already are characters who are just mythological creatures!
Or you could always take the easier way and make them/her a descendant of either the Fire Bird (it's different from a Phoenix) or Baba Yaga or if you want to go obscure Kikimora (yes, Kikimora is in FACT a witch from Slavic mythology) or Poludnica (a spirit that harmed anyone trying to work around midday).
The main reasons I would personally go with Rusalka are:
1. More water monsters.
2. You could go wild with it as long as it looks like a pretty girl.
3. More monsters with dark hair (never enough of them)
4. Making a name for them is very easy, like you got the base for a name play right there like Russila Kalka or something.
5. Better fit for a monster with a Russian/other Slavic accent than a girl from South West Asia.
ok but legitimately i think the reason why kids aren’t taking internet safety seriously is because the people who are telling us not to put our personal information out seem so out of touch. no one acknowledges the possibility of meeting very real teenaged friends online, they always say that everyone you meet is a 40 year old white man in disguise. because they aren’t acknowledging things we know are true, it becomes a lot easier to dismiss the rest of what they’re saying as well. internet safety lessons absolutely must keep up with the times and acknowledge the internet’s capacity for good if you want kids to take to heart warnings about its capacity for bad.

I really hate asking for help here, but this is important.
So. My washing machine broke, and I can't do laundry.
Laundromats cost money, and in terms of money, my family and I aren't doing so hot. Money is tight and going to laundromats is going to make it even tighter. And if I can't afford the laundromat, I'll have no clean clothes to wear.
My aunt likely isn't going to do anything to help, and she'll just blame my mom for it like she does with everything bad that happens.
Even if the washer was working fine, I'm on a time limit. My aunt wants to have a room for her granddaughter (my cousin's daughter), and that means one of us is going to have to leave or be forced to leave.
I've been doing this program (that I can't go in the specifics of because I don't want to doxx myself) that will help me get a job in the future, but it's at least 10 sessions, Monday to Friday, and I'm only on session 3.
And even then it's gonna take a bit for me to actually get a job.
I want to get out of my house and move somewhere that isn't this.
The house hasn't been tended to by my aunt, and she refuses to do anything about it.
My mom is disabled and can't fix it. Even if she was capable, my aunt should have to be the one to help the house not turn to shit, because my aunt owns the house.
Living here has been an absolute nightmare. For 4 years now, I have had to endure my sibling falling through the floor and getting their leg stuck, me falling down the stairs into literal sewage, using entire bins to collect rainwater from the roof, one of the cats getting an infection from his wart (that had been getting worse each day and she did NOTHING), dealing with fruit flies and roaches multiple times, stepping in cat shit regularly, and having to hear the dogs whine and bark because one has their fur falling out and has a rash because he's allergic to the dog food he eats and the other has severe hip problems due to being in cages 24/7.
The only reason why my family is even here in the first place is due to us not being able to afford living where we lived before, and my aunt took us in.
I've tried to make things work, to find the positive side of things, but living here has taken a toll on my health.
The only source of income my family has at the moment is child support and food stamps.
I almost never ask for help, especially not online, but my family could really use the money.

Time for more headcannons and believe it or not, this time it's not only Scarlet and Violet related, but also an AU that I had started sketching last school year and plan to get back to.
I call this the Red-dad and Purple-mum AU.
While this may contradict the cannon, in this AU Sada and Turo are very attentive parents in contrast with their (robotic) significant other (red dad for Scarlet Turo and purple mum for Violet Sada) just that they are huge science-heads and currently away. Red-dad!Turo is a physicist that's currently doing some research in Pokémon equivalent of CERN and Purple-mum!Sada is on an archeological site with Cynthia somewhere far away.
The angst in this AU is more because they just... don't understand eachother that well. Sada/Turo don't really know how to connect with their son because they don't know how to connect with him, Arven meanwhile sees his parents as scientists so much, he doubts they share any common interests. Also Arven wanted to go with them (before Mabostiff's health went so down) to where they were going, because school was unbearable after the Team Star incident, but they left him home to focus on school (before this they took him everywhere... Also in this AU they really wanted to stay with Arven, but their duties called). The worst conflict they had besides that was about Arven wanting to go to culinary school instead of some scientifically oriented university, but they got over that almost immediately.
Their relationship sort of mends after the big reveal, since they realise they only have eachother to support them through their shared grief.
Thinking about separating my reposts from my content into different accounts once I start reaching more people, since currently my blog is a giant mess, but I am content with it.

Love the current TikTok trend of the Sailor song all those OC and fictional character pairings are fun and if I wouldn't be lazy, I would make a Highlands shipping one.
But in my opinion Ingo should be the captee and Melli the pirate. Like yes, Melli is the twink BUT he actually has the audacity to take over an entire ship and throw the crew into the open sea. Ingo is too nice to do that, he would just defeat the captain at most and like the thing in the song is that the original pirate crew is swimming with the fishies (literally).
Melli very much has the audacity to just throw everyone out except that one guy who put up a decent fight.
Idk how I got friends there, Ig I clicked through suggestions real fast because my spelling is atrocious otherwise, but it's stans.
It's stans that bother me, regular G1 fans who are actually normal about G3 and 2 are OK.

Gonna be a hater, but G1 Monster High stans are the equivalent to Genwunners, here's why:
1. Think that making a whole account to hate on a kids show is radical (it's not).
2. Keep spreading that G3 has been cancelled (just the Nickelodeon series was, because either Mattel wants to pull out of the network due to its bad reputation OR inside politics in Nickelodeon. The webisodes will continue, source Reddit, because I couldn't find anything about the show's cancellation which is probably the first sign of no cancellations).
3. Think being a One-star-reviewer (not the MTF) and bombing the reviews is #hottie behaviour (all the ghouls look in judgement).
4. Apparently thinking that the IP has gone WOKE and therefore it's RUINED (it was always woke they just can finally be open about it, HAVE WE WATCHED THE SAME THING???)
Obviously G3 has its issues, but like... So does everything?
Remember kids: hate bombing a CORPORATE PRODUCT won't give you a better one. Mattel is a corporation first, they will just sink the ship. Seeing some of your posts just makes my brain shrink in size.

a lot of people have been hurt in the terror attacks in lebanon, i know this is a time where requests for donations are high and a lot of people are struggling financially. however, if you have something to spare please consider donating to the lebanese red cross, many people who have been injured or died in these attacks have been innocent civilians and hospitals have been overwhelmed with patients.

They are not medically accurate, just enough for artists to know the necessary muscles and how they work together
I 100% recommend doing the last exercise I did to be able to actually place the muscles
I know that the interaction is more passionate than what I imagine, but I can't shake the image of Nita getting all fired up and Ingo just continues to talk in his customer service voice, because formal setting, maybe an attempt at de-escalation, but Nita just gets more and more frustrated because customer service brings pent up rage in her (she had to argue for way too many refunds).

Nita refers to Chili/Rika as “Chili-chan,” which is actually how she refers to herself, but Ingo calls her “Chili-sama”
when Ingo says “i insist that you visit the Battle Subway” it’s literally more like “please come visit OUR Battle Subway,” or maybe more like “please come visit us on the Battle Subway,” which is cute because it can be read as him including Emmet, but more importantly he also uses the VERY formal “watakushi-domo”
basically he’s talking like a “employee of the month” type service worker to a customer which makes this convo all the more funnier because he’s using this super super polite language to get into a squabble with Nita over who gets to have the cool fan-favorite come visit
