“A hybrid?” You barely hold back a cough, the sandwich you were eating getting caught in your throat at your co-workers surprising words.

“Don’t sound so surprised Y/N, this isn’t the first time we’ve talked about this,” Jihyo rolls her eyes, pushing her water bottle closer to you as she notices you struggling. You quickly take a sip, the cool water soothing your irritated throat.

“No, but it’s the first time we’ve ever talked about me and hybrids in the same sentence,” You shake your head as you lean back in your chair, Jihyo’s eyes narrowing as she looks at you. You advert your eyes to pick at your shirt. Somehow, Jihyo always knows how to make you do something you’re unsure of, and this is too serious to be one of those situations.

“But wouldn’t it be nice? You always complain about being lonely,” Jihyo says, a knowing smile on her face as she takes another bite of her own food.

“Yeah, but I meant a boyfriend, not a hybrid!” You sigh. You had been complaining a lot recently how sad it was to come home to a big empty apartment, and how nice it would be if the space were filled with someone else beside yourself. But a hybrid? You hardly know anything about them. And considering they’re part human and animal, you’re sure they will need a lot of attention, maybe even more than what you can give.

“Besides, I wouldn’t even know where to start. I don’t know anything about them,” You add, a frown on your face as you pick at the escaped fillings of your food. “That’s what the centers are for! You pick out a hybrid and get a manual to go along with it, it’s not that hard,” Jihyo huffs, a small pout on her lips as she finishes her food. You know she only has your best intentions in mind, but this is a big step. One you’re not sure you’re ready for.

When their consort got a sudden attack in the palace

(from what I see in the drama, the palace was divided into some places including the Queen’s and the King’s. So the scene was happened in the Queen’s part of palace)

Kim Seok Jin : 

The court lady was running through the palace to confirmed the King that the Queen’s palace got a sudden attack from the people who claimed as a traitors. Jin would be panicked but shows calm expression because he needs to think something. 

“Send guards too the Queen’s place-no, I’ll go there too. Her safety is the priority.” 

Kim Taehyung :

He would jumped from his throne in the middle of meeting and run to the Queen’s palace with guards behind him. “Where’s the Queen?! Find her, her safety is our priority.” When he found you hiding on the secret place which only you and Taehyung knows about it, he would fell to his knees and hugged you.

“It’s okay, everything will be alright. I will catch them.”

Jung Hoseok : 

He would be pissed and instead of looking for you, he would search the assassins and tortured them. He believes that you’re safe because you’re a smart girl but when he met you that night, he would hugged you tightly and instead of him calming you it would be you who’s calming him

Min Yoongi : 

No one dared to messing around with him, so you’re safe and happy in the palace. But when he heard something about you getting hurt by someone….yeah, it won’t be good.

“No one will touch my family especially my Queen.” 

Park Jimin : 

He was heading to your place when he heard the court lady running to him. “The Queen…..she…” He wouldn’t say anything and walked faster and his expression got darken in every single step. When he arrived he would be panicked as he saw the chaos that happened in the palace. He would sighed in relieved when he saw you sat on the bench. 

“Are you okay? Are you hurt? Stay in my place for this night, okay? I’ll take care the rest all you need for now is eat and rest.”

Kim Namjoon : 

Of course, he would be calmed like it’s nothing serious but deep inside his mind was a chaos. He would think possibilities for you to get hurt, not survive, wounded, and others. He would asked the guards to catch the assassins while he searched for you everywhere. 

Jeon Jungkook : 

*to be honest, i was thinking about his Jungshook expression*

He was at the moment when someone jumped at both of you, he would pulled you behind him by instinct and glared at the assassin. He had no guards because he was planning to had date for both of you. But it turned out someone wants to kill you. 

“When I say ‘run’ then run as fast as you can and don’t look back. Call the guards and stay there until it’s safe.” He wouldn’t think about his life instead he makes you his priority.

Carefully maneuvering your left arm as you sat down in one of the leather seats in front of his oversized desk. The mahogany desk was in a state of semi-cluttered, several stacks of papers yet the items closets to you were impeccable. His gold plaque with his name proudly written was polished as it gleamed.

Politics, the size was compensating for something.

‘come to the window’

If that had been anyone else who had sent you that text, it would be over your dead body to bring yourself there… or that’s what it would be. But since it’s from a certain someone that didn’t fit the spectrum of just anyone, you hop off the sofa and head towards the window where it reflects the television screen you had your eyes on for the past hour.

There’s a couple containers perfectly stacked and packed by the ledge, willing for you to take. Carefully unlocking the latch and allowing the cool breeze of the night drift across your skin, you stick your hand out to collect what seems to be a freshly cooked meal of your favor. Possibly fried chicken marinated with spicy sauce and rice (based on the weight) with eggs and oh my fucking god, mashed potatoes.

Although the scent alone is salivating your taste buds, you set it down to the side safely in your home and take a look at your phone. Tapping on reply, you’re formulating your sentence halfway that consists of a question and a statement at the same time but the - “I’m here, by the way,”

“Holy fuck me-”your hands juggle your phone, almost dropping it over eleven stories high and you press it to your chest. You roll your eyes as they close shut, then bursting out in a small outrage to - “Give me a warning, will you?!”

“Is that how you treat someone who cooks for you every night?” Seokjin crosses his arms, balancing himself effortlessly against the ledge of your neighbours window and his back to the brick walls. You heave a deep breath and gaze to his eyes, making the effort to crane your neck out the window, “…I didn’t ask you to cook for me,”

He lets out a sound coming across as a groan and an exclaim of an exaggerated wow that he’s known for. You chuckle at this when his red eyes turn brown, the color of comfort of being in a presence that’s familiar for him to be on his guard. He takes a step forward, and the next thing you know the two of you come face to face (you’re still amazed how he manages to hold himself up on such a tiny space for his feet).

“And wait for you to die because you can’t cook for shit? Hah, okay, I’ll give you that. But how about you repay me?”

You fold your arms, brow raised (and from another view you know people would think you’re ridiculous to taunt someone who can climb their way up eleven stories without using the stairs or lift but again, he wasn’t just anyone to you), “With what? Money? You know I could sell all my organs and it wouldn’t be enough,”

“Wine, do you have it?”

“…eh, maybe. I could go chec-hey! This is trespassing!”

He snorts, already halfway into your kitchen as you hastily close your window. His hands are rummaging through the cabinets and you yelp on your way over, to which he chuckles and tells you to - “Be careful,” - the same time you push aside the tubs of food before you knock them over completely. Huffing, you stand by the kitchen door with a frown, “Again, trespassing!”

“Nothing I haven’t seen,” He shrugs, and your eyes are to slits, “I don’t give a flying fuck if you’re a vampire but you can’t just come into my house like this!”

“Call the cops if you want me gone,”

When Seokjin sees how you lazily drag your foot around the other, he smirks.

“Be back in five,” He heads towards the window, and you can’t bite your tongue on the words firing out your lips. “Are all vampires this cocky?”

“I don’t know,” He puts one foot out, looking over his shoulder to you, “Have you dated other vampires?”

With a pout, you turn away from him after retrieving the food by the floor, with a huff shortly after as you head towards the dining table, “…I’m eating now,”

“I’ll be back with wine,” He laughs, then tapping on the window pane when you settle down on the seat, “Leave this unlocked,”

“I have a door, you know,”

“You also have a window,”

“…be back with the wine before I finish eating.”
