Here’s where coping skills come in handy! Do something that makes you happy, imagine your thoughts as a bubble and watch them float away, or any other skill you find helpful. The goal here is to make you feel better even if you can’t change the situation or what’s happening.
Couldn’t change how you feel? Talk to someone, kiddo. Whether it be a trusted friend or family member or a professional, talking about what makes you feel scared can help you.
