Legosi gave another nod, “Then I’m gonna call you Alfie.” He beamed brightly, his tail wagging back and forth out of happiness. “What do you think of the nickname, Alfie?” He questioned with a hint of curiosity, tilting his head a bit off to the side and eyeing the other. He’s happy to be friends with Alfred. Man, this was a true beginning of a friendship.

He’d only ever been called that by his parents, but hearing it on Legosi’s voice? His tail mirrored the wolf and, though it was long and heavy like a kangaroo’s, it similarly swung from side to side and he even felt a bit giddy inside. “Hm. I like it,” he pronounced. “Gosi and Alfie. Alfie and Gosi. Yeah...”

Legosi grinned softly at Alfred’s choice of words, giving a small nod. “You give him hell, Alfred.” His eyes widened at the nickname Alfred had given him, “Gosi, huh? I like that nickname already.” A soft smirk plastered across the wolf’s face.

How he could have avoided Legosi for so long, he had not a single clue. All this lanky string-bean of a wolf needed this whole time was an honest friend and an honest chance to prove himself. Alfred’s smile grew a bit when Legosi approved of the nickname. “Good,” he said, “’Cuz it’s not going away any time soon. And don’t feel like you gotta just call me ‘Alfred’, either, too.”

Legosi snorted softly, “I’m definitely sure he’s going to pick on us.” He’s being pessimistic now. “Sorry, I don’t mean to be all gloomy all of the sudden.” He genuinely apologized, scratching the back of his neck.

Alfred only snorted in response to Legosi’s characteristic gloominess showing through. “Yeah, well, if he tries anything, Bill knows he can’t go too far. We’ve got that little scene against each other in ‘Adler’ and I’m not afraid of giving it my all against him.” The dingaroo looked up at the wolf again, a little glint of fire in his eyes as he smiled softly. “Bill will know we’re not gonna take any flak from him, ‘Gosi, you mark my words.”
