im convinced theres some evil guardian angel that watches over joel but ONLY when he's on his red life. he dies so easily and so fast when he's green or yellow but then as soon as he goes red he becomes comically unkillable. he and etho were down to HALF A HEART ON RED LIVES while joel was fighting a skeleton and moments away from permadying but they lived, yet they died to a fucking fishing rod trick 10 minutes before. not to mention joel surviving for 7 sessions on red in last life after losing 3 lives in session 2. its gotta be divine intervention at this point there's just no way

hey so you know how in double life scar and grian have a monopoly on sand. and scar blabbed to the whole group about having that monopoly while warden watching. haha silly scar compromising their monopoly right why would he tell them now theyll look for sand. except grian blabbed first. grian mocked joel by throwing sand at him before grian and scar cleaned out the valley so joel went and got like a stack of sand. grian, not scar, ruined their monopoly.

and grian gave bigb a piece of sugarcane before the moles stole it all from his stash, back when he had the proper opportunity to leverage the sugarcane as a resource. he just. gave that away.

scar's sanctuary actively made more profit than any of grian's schemes and, even though it almost got them killed, scar burning down the ranch lead to the warden protecting the valley and any possible remaining sand.

anyway just having thoughts about scar being a better soulmate unintentionally while grian (actively pulling away) is actively trying to do well for himself and is ruining everything instead

based on the first episode my ideal finale would be between Martyn + Cleo and Scott + Pearl left. imagine the drama. the potential for betrayal. please let this happen

we were so wrong about which of the two broken soulmate bonds were going to be normal about being divorced, and in hindsight. how did we not realize. both cleo and martyn, while both vindictive in their own rights, also both want to survive and win. scott, however, is petty and dramatic and has already won once anyway, and pearl is just completely insane. we should have seen this coming. should have realized cleo and martyn would just snipe at each other while also giving each other the bare minimum help needed to survive, while meanwhile scott starts the day by going “we should axe crit each other to hurt our soulmates” and pearl is in his walls. incredible. show-stopping. hilarious. how did we get this so wrong
