so i just heard this song 4 the 1st time 2day at nearly 2 in the morning

i had 2 pause the video 2 cry at ‘whether life’s disabilities left you outcast, bullied or teased’ i honestly never in my life thought that i would hear a song from 2011 from some1 so famous that actually acknowledged that ppl like me even exist in a way that wasn’t making fun of ppl like me

stop the LGB alliance from being able to claim they are a charity

I’m sure most of you know about them already but the LGB alliance are a transphobic organisation that actively try to stop trans people from getting rights and actively try to roll back the few rights that we do have, they are even buying advertising to spread misinformation about the gender recognition act in Scotland, I’m sharing a link to a petition to get people to listen to try to make sure this hate organisation never gets to falsely label themselves as a ‘charity’

Uganda using coronavirus laws to target marginalised LGBT groups

Video footage shows a town mayor and other officials interrogating people at a shelter about their families and sex lives.

This is what we are fighting against. The people affected are the people we are fighting for. Uganda has an horendous human rights record against the LGBTQ+ community, and now they are using COVID-19 as a way to target LGBTQ+ people. 

The government raided an LGBT shelter where many people are vulnerable and trying to avoid persecution in a country determined to pass laws removing what little human rights the LGBTQ+ community have. 19 people got detained, including the director of the charity that runs the shelter. These are 19 people who are going to be treated as inhuman in prison. These are 19 people who are still in prison after this raid on March 29 who aren’t allowed to see their lawyer. These are 19 people who are feeling scared and alone right now. 

The fight for LGBTQ+ rights will never end until everyone in the community feels safe. While this will take a long time, we will never give up, we will never forget about anyone, and we will continue to push forward.
