ctubbo was hard of hearing as a kid. he had a particularly bad ear infection that ended up eating away at his eardrum a little so he’s always been on the deaf spectrum. being blown up by fireworks Did Not Help. he has to rely on a hearing aid now. (he doesn’t have to. everyone in his life makes sure he knows that. there are long spans of time where he’ll use sign language and just leave the aid at home. it makes him feel comfortable and safe but he doesn’t admit that to anyone but cranboo and ctommy). he has chronic pain in his legs and back, he uses crutches and canes a bit interchangeably because he can’t really tell which one he likes more. he also likes to whack ctommy with them for funsies.

 cranboo struggles a lot with migraines. they think it comes with the memory issues. they hit hard and fast and the only way they’ve figured out to get rid of them is to lay down in a dark room and take a nap. sometimes it brings them to tears because of how badly it hurts, but it’s nice when ctubbo lays down with them and plays with their hair and gives them some midol. their balance is a bit poor so they trip a lot. being so tall they have a lot of problems with their knees and hips. ctubbo covers their cane in stickers and paint. michael b put his little hoof/handprint on the handle. they rub the paint with their thumb if they’re sitting and thinking. ctubbo makes charms for their cane all the time and cranboo changes them out weekly so that every single one gets time out and about.

It was mentioned by one of the crew on ROTTMNT the potential reason Donnie built himself a battle shell was because Raph accidentally hurt him somehow when they were little and naturally I had to make a comic about it❤️‍🩹
