The Idea Of Any Sort Of Military Force Possibly At Rupas Beck And Call Already Enticed The Young Mans
The idea of any sort of military force possibly at Rupa’s beck and call already enticed the young man’s greedy side. “So…yer sayin’, any sorta scuzzball ‘r douchebag tries ta look a me funny 'nd they’re dead.” He smirked, already gaining a avaricious gleam in his eyes as he studied the glittering magic rose? “So, ya can learn magic? Real and true magic?!” His eyes lost their greedy shine for something more akin to childish wonder and hope. Something he hadn’t felt in such a long time…. Then his protesting, self preserving thoughts came back. “Hol'up. What sorts catches ahe there? Tuition must be a fortune. Is theh even a school?” He regarded this fairytale prince suspiciously.
"Thou man of softer age, wouldst thou perchance wisheth to leave these streets so mired in filth and be given a life free from worry?" A strange cloaked figure questioned Rupa, the being having watched him for some time
The bronzed young teenager, with an icy blue, scrutinizing glance, sized up this newcomer that approached him so easily. The guy seemed to be dressed suspiciously with that big cloak. “Sorry, I’m too old ta be goin’ wit’ strangers, thanks,” He muttered, returning to his own business, planning his next meal as he counted up the money in his hands he so rightfully earned (re: stole). “I’m kinda busy, so if that’s all ya got, ya can go bug someone else, yeah?” He had enough for a small meal at sit down restaurant, maybe even another for later, nothing too fancy. About $40 or so, all in 5’s and 1’s as Rupa stuffed them back into his coat pocket, the garment torn and old, very well used. “So, uh, if ya can getcher ass outta heah, I’d appreciate it.” He gave the guy a cheeky, overconfident smile.

Sonic X? Sonic Adventure 1 & 2? Sonic 06?
I’m glad the studio listened to us regarding Sonic’s design but I’ll forever be frustrated with the very concept of this film. Sonic the Hedgehog has the potential to be a fantastic animated film about friends fighting the forces of evil. It should never have been turned into a dime-a-dozen “CGI Character Falls Through A Portal To Live Action Real World” film.

One time one of my coworkers was talking about his daughter (who was only 5-6 at the time) and how he was already worried about boys, etc. once she got older. He wasn’t one of those dads, who would quite literally hunt down a teenage boy with a shotgun over some backseat shenanigans. He was just a concerned dad.
He asked me what my dad used to do to scare all of the boys away from me, or to at least make sure they were good to me.
My answer?
Example.
My dad never once said, “Katie, if a boy hits you, make sure to bring him back here so I can make him pay.”
Instead, my kind, gentle-soul dad expressed anger and utter contempt for men who beat their wives (and vice versa), and has never in his life raised his hand against me or my mother.
My dad never once said, “Katie, don’t go out with a boy who’s rude to the waitress.”
Instead, my father has treated every single server we’ve had throughout my entire life (except the rare ones who were rude first) with respect and courtesy.
My dad never once told my brothers to get up and offer the pregnant lady their seat on the subway.
Instead he was the first one to stand up, and smiled proudly when his young sons copied him when 2 other women boarded.
My dad didn’t raise me to only make good decisions when he’s there looking over my shoulder. He showed me what to look for in a man, not by preaching at me or declaring that he was the perfect mold. But his treatment of others (esp women) is the foundation for my standards when it comes to men.
So, parents, you want to make sure all of those Bad Apples stay away? Step one is to demonstrate what a Good Apple looks like, up close and personal.
Because if you’ve taught your daughters to respect themselves enough to have high standards, there won’t be any need for you chase any Bad Apples away. Your daughter will take care of that for you.
Rupa let the coins fall into his hands, letting them sit there as he still felt weary about this whole plot. But then that line...it was...so..so insane, he didn't even entertain the thought. Wha-!" He laughed in disbelief. "What is this?! Ya think dis is some kinda joke? That I'm some...damsel in distress th' needs savin'? Dude...." he scoffed, glaring at...this...Raesal...? incredulously, letting the coins drop to the ground, the metal ringing sharp on the concrete under their feet. "Ya seriously think I'm gonna go wit' ya now? Wha-what mental hospital did YOU break outta? Dis some kinda sick joke ya like ta, ta play on homeless people, huh?" He was...a little harsh on the poor guy. But hey, he was done getting bullied and knocked down for just tryin' ta survive.
