The Great Escape
the great escape
for a while there I was destitute my breath stuck in my throat then butterflies started fluttering knew this was my great escape
I used to read about all of this a feeling that gets you alive far from my reach I thought until you came along my song
shook my whole world blue got me stuttering around smiling a little too much and melting at your touch
my days spent in blissful haze lavender and pinks all around no storm brewing in my mind can I just stay right here... forevermore
