Leaning against the headboard of the shared, giant bed and having a book in hand, Bucky just stares at you.

“I can feel you staring.” Your eyes don’t leave the pages of your book, knowing that he’s there.

“And I don’t feel you.”

Putting the mark in the book and having it lie next to you, you look at the angrily, pouting soldier you call your boyfriend. “‘Cause I’m not in you.”

Pink covers his cheeks and mumbles, “Later.”

“I’m surprised you don’t want my dick now.”

“I always want your dick.” He takes the chance to waddle to the bed and crawls over to you, wedging himself in between your legs as you don’t have your book in hand.

You feel his arm wrap around you and his hand rest at your back, having it slip under your shirt to feel your skin. He had his metal arm off, so his arm-nub rested against your abdomen. 

Once he has his head on your stomach, your hand goes into his hair whilst your other hand grabs your book to continue reading.

“You should pay attention to me and give me affection,” he mumbles, you hearing the tiredness in his voice. “I am. I’m talking to you, giving you cuddles, and playing with your hair.” Your eyes never leave the page once again.

He mumbles what you said until he stops mid-sentence, feeling the back of his neck being rubbed and your hand going under the collar of his shirt. You scratch his back for a moment before going back to his neck.

It has his body relax against yours, lulling him to sleep. He smiles a little as he feels your lips press against his forehead.
