spell inspired by Florence + the Machine’s song cosmic love, to help you find a soulmate (working with the theory that there are many possible ones out there, as you are an ever changing being)

I took the stars from my eyes, and then I made a map And knew that somehow I could find my way back Then I heard your heart beating, you were in the darkness too So I stayed in the darkness with you

🌟 perform at night among the stars and the moon, playing the song, chanting along if you like.

🌟 create a pentagram, and at each point place a token of something that represents a key aspect of your personality.

🌟 light a corresponding candle by each. 

🌟 cover your eyes with a cloth you can only see slightly through.

🌟 mix rose petals, thyme, peach, lemongrass, and bay leaf together. burn a pinch of the mixture in each candle. 

🌟 close your eyes, watch the stars in your eyes and interpret them as one would interpret tea leaves. this will be your “map” that will lead you to them.

Jar Spell for Clarity 🍇

a simple springtime spell for emotional/mental clarity and wisdom

🍇 gather: raspberry, amethyst, bay leaf, sage, and sunflower seeds or petals

🍇 in a bowl, crush the raspberry. soak the close of the jar in the juice

🍇 fill the jar with dried bay leaf, sage, and sunflower seeds.

🍇 seal the jar carefully with wax of the color most calming to you

🍇 charge with amethyst as needed, shake to invoke

a simple ritual to shed light on an answer to a yes or no question.

💐 gather: a rose or daisy, morning dew, a tarot deck of choice. 

💐 bless the flower with morning dew 

💐 charge the flower over the lovers’ tarot card

💐 pull another card from the deck, if it is an odd card, start with “love me”, if and even numbered card start with “loves me not”

sometimes you come across a spell and it’s not exactly what you want. sometimes you can’t find the spell you need and there’s only spells that are only sorta what you need. 

❇️ To enchant an object with the intent of the spell

involve the object in the spell. for example, 

if it is a jar spell you can charge the object in or around the jar

if it is a candle spell, you can pass the object though the smoke

gather and direct 

❇️ For a very specific spell becoming generalized

dissect the spell, and figure out what is making the spell focused on a singular event, area, or person, and remove that element. if removing that element makes the spell difficult to complete, you can 

burn the ingredients and spread pinches of the ashes for influence

combine in a traditional candle spell

combine in a traditional jar spell
