Reyna hugging Nico on page 477 of Blood of Olympus changed lives
I do not see EVEN CLOSE to the amount of commotion I should about Reyna and Nico's friendship. For the amount of darling that Nico is in this fandom, way to few people talk about how Reyna instinctively wanted to treat him like a little brother.

The only line between Wille and Sara in the whole 18 episodes
Had a BLAST watching it, and thought it was a really good length (sick an tired of my usual kdramas being 5 episodes too long). However some of the world building is just strange.
My biggest, more surface level issue rn is why does the mother seem so dead set on her daughter being with Son. From my perspective the biggest indication is that he has the most sellability, but we could also only be seeing a warped perspective due to her sister being a major fan of him. In fact, it seems like Max has more prestige actually, him being from a Farm family that is stable in their position. I get her wanting her daughter to win....but why Son?
Then there's the deeper issues like who is the governing body? Is it Ms Kwan? It feels unclear.
Why does the Farm do things this way? There's way more effective ways to control people with way less effort and chance of uprising. Like I understand a big part of the setup is that they're taking kids from their mom's, but why? Why not instead just set up the mom's on the farm? That keeps the peace more, and also provides an explanation as to why people aren't asking questions about the farm (for example, there's no way all these women are voluntarily giving up they're babies? Or maybe people think it's civic duty...who knows) (from the governing body's perspective perhaps they're worried about inner Farm conflict, idk).
I also have questions. How does the dynamic of the people who can enter and leave the Farm work? Is there special clearance? Clearly Val was able to get a lot of access way too easily. How does the getting pregnant system work? Is there like a massive sperm bank? If so, how do they make sure siblings aren't dating/procreating, given the genetic bottleneck?
Anyways, I really hope to see a season two, with a different tone, kinda in the way Hunger Games 1&2 differed greatly from 3&4 due to the subject material...I'd love to see a more dystopian uprising sort of perspective. I want to know what happens to Almond! Here's to hoping....
Forgot to mention: the entire episode that was just Among Us? Camp.
Okay, Ready Set Love on Netflix kinda slaps in that it's both a really silly, goofy show about a quirky reality show but also a sharp satire about how both governments and companies will treat people as commodities at the first opportunity. Also, it had gorgeous set design and some damn good cinematography at parts. Was it perfect? No. But I feel like if it was more popular or in English there would be dozens of video essays being made about it right now lol.
I was into this guy. Weirdest thing is, I felt my feelings get deeper once I stopped liking him.
