My brother cracked my rib one morning and gave me half of his orange in the evening.
I remember being younger and sometimes wishing to be a single child, to have all the attention and gifts and time but when he was away from home for the first time, I remember crying and stroking his side of the sofa as if blurting out my first wish- for him to be home, without thinking twice, without a shadow of doubt. Even the genie cried. Growing up with a sibling is like being the only people on a stranded boat, constantly figuring out how you can live with them and questioning how you could ever live without them.
One evening, in a fit of anger, I told him how I never wanted him to be my brother and he yelled that he didn't ask for it either. The air smelled like kerosene and my chest was filled with arsenic. I was raging and threw his favorite toy aeroplane down the window, 7 stories of guilt and shame. He cried all night and I wanted to cut off my right hand, the hand that hurt my baby brother. I didn't know if he was ever going to forgive me or even talk to me. The next morning at breakfast, he didn't look at me or say a word, I felt like my chest was about to explode and guilt clouded my vision. But then, I felt a hand quietly holding half of an orange my way.
The only people on a stranded boat. How do you live with them? How could you ever live without them?

Arcane incorrect quotes part I, part II
Okay I have now watched a frankly unhealthy amount of arcane reaction videos, and I have noticed certain patterns
People going in blind tend to assume the show will be some sort of ATLA style magical adventure (haha, nope the season finale is 4 people shouting in a dimly lit room like a fucking A24 movie).
Consequently, almost everyone is expecting Viktor and Jayce's experiment to Deus Ex Machina, Vi and co. out of trouble in ep. 3.
Also a surprising amount of people think the end of ep. 3 is setting up Marcus as Vi's new mentor and a Vi vs. Powder, Marcus vs. Silco dynamic ???
Seeing post-timeskip Vi for the first time tends to visibly make straight women question their sexuality and/or gender
People get incredibly nasty towards Mel (friendly reminder that carries the death penalty 😇).
There's a perfect 50/50 chance whether any given group of casual viewers will understand the "Dynasties and Dystopia" scene.
Despite literally nobody liking Marcus, after his death people tend to be oddly fixated on casting him as a tragic hero. (You are not immune to copaganda etc etc.)
The average Normie is NOT mentally prepared for Ambessa Medarda. Like I don't know how to describe, she shows up all grey hair and muscles and their brains just blue screens.
Nobody understands how Silco is able to breathe the gas during the meeting with the barons, despite him literally, in the scene, explaining how he's doing it (its fissure gases, he's unaffected cause he's been breathing it all his life you guys!)
People having to visibly restrain themselves from singing "Gotta go my own way" (from High School Musical 2), when Caitlyn asks "but what about us?" in ep. 8 is so relatable.
JINX IS NOT SHOOTING THE MOON YOU GUYS! THE ROCKET FLYING IN FRONT OF THE BLOOD MOON IS A TRANSITIONAL SHOT MEANT TO SHOW THAT ITS HEADED FOR THE COUNCIL BUILDING AND THAT A DISASTER IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN! WHY WOULD JINX FIRE A ROCKET AT THE MOON THIS ISN'T GAME OF THRONES SEASON 7
Lastly shoutout to the sapphic couple who, the instant Caitlyn showed up in ep. 2 went "that's Vi's love interest". Queens saw a polite upperclass girl, and immediately clocked that she was gonna end up with the rowdy street rat, game recognizes game.
