Do you ever get jumpscared by something you were expecting cuz like i knew Ateez would be releasing their mini album and Work today but i was so surprised to see the MV for Work.

alright so before i listen to Ive's new EP i listened to the highlight medley and this is the order of what I think my favorite songs will be

1. Heya

2. Ice queen

3. Accencio

4. Reset

5. Blue heart

6. Wow

It's been a while so here's how i rank IVE SWITCH after listening to it a couple of times. I am not a professional music critic or even particularly knowledgeable about music. This is just what i liked about the EP

1. Heya

Love at first listen. Again Rei's opening rap, Wonyoung's prechorus, Leeseo's rap, Liz's voice. That bridge. I also loved the final chorus and the way everything just felt more bigger and louder. Definitely going to be one of my favourite title tracks from them.

2. Ice queen

I think i like this one beacuse it reminds me of love dive in a way. I like the chorus, and the atmosphere? I don't know if that's the word that the song creates. It feels very chilly and distant and calculating in the best way.

3. Accendio

I love that prechorus but I'm a bit mixed on the chorus itself. It's catchy and addicting on some days but on other days it feels meh. The prechorus and post chorus are the stars of this song.

4. Blue heart

I really like the meaning behind the song and the song itself while not my favourite has been growing on me.

5. Wow

It's a cute song. That's it. It's a cute song to start my morning with.

6. Reset

It's a good thing this song is at the end cuz i mostly just go back to the beginning and listen to heya. Perhaps it will grow on me in the future but for now. It's just one of those forgettable bsides that does nothing for me

What was going on with the camerawork for ateez at coachella? A member would be actively singing and dancing and the stage would look so dark. During crazy form, the camera completely ignored Hongjoon's rap and in songs luke bouncy, the smoke completely covered the stage so you couldn't see the choreo. Regardless Ateez delivered and i hope this opens more opportunities for them.

So I watched the paladin strait MV, beautiful song beautiful MV but I gotta say and spoilers for anyone who hasn't watched it but

Nico flying into the room like that when Clancy(Tyler) kills all of the bishops and grabbing Clancy's throat jump scared me like this is horror movie stuff. Now I'm wondering if I just scare easily lol also the zombies coming out of neon graves, the big fight, I know Tyler says this is the final chapter but like I feel like there's still unfinished business

I've been listening to the golden hour part 1 preview and this is the ranking of the songs that i think i'll like best. At least based on the snippets.

1. Empty box

This sounds like it would be soothing and comforting. I haven't read the lyrics though so i could be wrong.

2. Golden hour

Similar vibe to empty box.

3. Blind

Everyone calls this Arriba's little sister and i think i might like this one better than Arriba. I'll be honest....i liked Arriba but not as must as the fandom loved it.

4. Work

Not a big fan of the rap chorus i guess. I'm pretty mixed on it. Hopefully i will love when it get released in its entirety.
