so, I ended up creating this AU where Randall grows up to be an evil jerk and becomes the leader of Targent. A lot of angst ensues between him and his old friends. (Also canon Randall I’m sorry for this you’re perfect my man ;-;)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PROFESSOR LAYTON!  I’ve been taking a little break from drawing, but after finding out it was the series’ anniversary, I had to at least doodle something.  It was october, last year, when I watched The Eternal Diva, and I’ve been in love with this wonderful series ever since. I love these stories, these beautiful characters. Sometimes I hate the writing a lot, most of the time I love it. It made me smile, laugh, and cry (looking at you, Unwound Future).  Even if we don’t get other games, I’m very glad I found this gem, and I’m sure it will stay in my heart for a long time.

What program did you use for the layton animation? I loved the video and think it'd be cool to eventually make something like that, but have no idea where to start!

 Thanks!! So, I used Photoshop. I drew every frame, saved them as JPG, and put them together with the timeline tool. And I believe you could make this process with any drawing program, combined with a video editing one (if the program doesn’t have this option)  (if you want to ask anything more about it, feel free to do it!)

Wait....does.....does Luigi die in the ROtG AU? Oh no. I’m sure Mario wasn’t too pleased

 Well don’t worry about him dying permanently because I’m a coward who can’t kill a character in a fic to save her LIFE. (But hey Sandy comes back in the movie too so I have an excuse)  I think it would be cool if when Luigi “dies”, he remains alive in Mario’s spirit, kinda like dreamy Luigi in dream team, you know? But Mario doesn’t know it yet and he’s there all sad beacuse his brother is dead. So when he fights Antasma, he’s losing and hurt... but out of nowhere, he starts using his brother’s dreamy sand power! And then Luigi majestically rises from the dream sand and they combine their powers to beat the living crap out of Antasma. The end

I found out lucrow is a thing and I’m so happy kjsjksjk It’s so cute to imagine them being little friends and falling in love as they grow older <3

(UNWOUND FUTURE SPOILERS IN THIS TEXT)  Look, I love this game, and I love the ending. Great melancholic conclusion. Made me cry for half an hour, 10/10 writing. BUT sometimes a girl just wants to see characters being happy and everything going right for them. So here’s an AU where Claire is alive and and well so she and Hershel can live a very happy life being two happy nerds together.   and yeah I like giving scars to people
