I think a lot about how cool a darker version of professor Layton would be. Especially Curious Village because of its creepy atmosphere.
The professor is a mysterious man. One can never fully see his eyes under his dark hat, yet these eyes seem to notice every single little thing. His lifeless face never changes expressions, his calm voice never changes tone. So, many fear the dark tall figure and would rather stays out of his way as he asks questions like some sort of sphinx.
But there is a young boy who does not fear him and walks by his side. Because he knows behind the shadowy figure lies a kind, warm, compassive soul, one who can't be called less than a true gentleman! He hopes he will, too, learn the ways of the gentleman with him, and also that one day the people wil see the same man he sees...
so, I wanted to make a piece for this au , which I think would have a more dark, heavy style, but my art-nouveau loving heart made me do this instead
I guess it still vibes with the au though? Anyways i love art nouveau so much. Or should I saaay so Mucha? Yeah sorry i'm gonna leave
