Natural Soft Glam Makeup Tips:

Natural Soft Glam Makeup Tips:

Find your undertone (cool, neutral or warm)

Choose a signature everyday nude pink or brown lipstick (a color close to your natural lip color)

For warm undertones, go for peachy shades

For cool undertones, go for mauve shades

For melanated lips, use a darker brown liner to outline then apply lipstick

Wear lip gloss! But not too much

Wear shorter, lighter lashes

Use softer colors for eyeshadow (light pink, browns)

Get the correct concealer color! You don't want white ashy look under your eyes.

Don't overdo the foundation, bronzer or contour because it'll make you look cakey

Go for a no makeup, makeup look

Don't overdraw your eyebrows (natural looking brows)

Avoid over concealing around the eyebrows

Use thin eyeliner techniques

Use a reasonable amount of highlighter especially on the cheeks. Make it look like a natural glow

Remember less is more!

The Boss Babe Burnout

how to recover from it and how to avoid it.

The Boss Babe Burnout

Welcome to the Black Feminine Society, where we celebrate and encourage boss babes to thrive in their careers. However, we also believe in the importance of leaning into your femininity and avoiding burnout. Today, we want to discuss the concept of a boss babe, the dangers of burnout, and provide a fresh perspective on navigating both your professional and personal life while embracing your feminine energy.

What is a “Boss Babe” ?

A boss babe is a term used to describe a woman who is confident, ambitious, and driven in her professional endeavors. She possesses qualities such as leadership, determination, and a strong work ethic. The boss babe is an inspiration to others and is often celebrated for her accomplishments.

You're a boss babe, and the world better watch out! Your confidence, ambition, and go-getter attitude set you apart. Own your unique qualities and let them shine as you slay your professional goals. Being a boss babe in this day and age has been embedded into some of us since we were a little girl. We grew up hearing, “Go to school, graduate with a high GPA, have your own and don't depend on anyone for anything.” Which isn't all wrong, as a woman you should strive to be independent and self-reliant. Education empowers us, broadens our horizons, and equips us with the necessary skills to navigate the world.

Burnout is for the weak, and you're anything but weak.

Burnout can occur when we prioritize work over our personal needs and relationships. It is a state of exhaustion, both physically and mentally, resulting from prolonged and excessive stress. When we neglect self-care, our well-being suffers, and we risk damaging our bodies, relationships and overall quality of life. It is crucial to recognize the signs of burnout and take proactive steps to prevent it.

How To Avoid Burnout?

So glad you asked! In the age of hustle and digital overload, it's crucial to prioritize self-care: create a morning / night routine that reliefs stress. Prioritize your OFF DAYS to unwind and relax. Set boundaries, learn how to say NO, practice digital detoxes, and indulge in some self love. Learn how to turn the “Boss Babe” mentality off and lean into your feminine energy. By taking care of yourself, you'll recharge your batteries and stay ahead of the game. Remember, you deserve to live a life that's both successful and fulfilling.

Is It Possible To Navigate In Both Worlds?

The Boss Babe Burnout

Despite popular belief, we believe that IT IS possible. Look at the Proverbs 31 woman. She was not lazy, she got the job done. She was also connected with her caring and loving nature.

While we celebrate being a boss babe, it is essential to remember that work should not consume our entire lives.

✨Self Developing Activity:

Take a moment to envision your long-term goals beyond your career. Do you desire marriage and family? Are you passionate about travel and building solid relationships? By identifying what truly matters to you outside of work, you can find a balance between your professional and personal aspirations.

Embracing Femininity:

Femininity is a powerful and innate aspect of womanhood. It encompasses qualities such as compassion, intuition, and nurturing. Embracing your femininity allows you to tap into your unique strengths and bring a fresh perspective to your work and personal life. By prioritizing self-care, setting boundaries, and cultivating meaningful relationships, you can exist in your feminine energy while excelling in your career.

Nurturing Your Passions:

Nurturing your passions allows you to tap into your authentic self, fostering a sense of self-awareness and confidence. Embracing your femininity while pursuing your interests empowers you to break free from societal norms and express your unique voice and perspective. Moreover, nurturing your passions can lead to personal fulfillment and happiness, as you engage in activities that bring you joy and ignite your inner fire.

The Hustle Culture Is A Scam

The Boss Babe Burnout

You are more than just your work, and your feminine energy is a powerful force that deserves to be celebrated and nurtured.

Hustle culture is so last season. It's time to break free from the toxic mindset that says success can only be achieved through non-stop work. Define your own version of success, one that includes balance, self-care, and meaningful connections.

Hustle culture promotes the idea that success is only achieved through continuous hard work, often at the expense of personal well-being and relationships. However, studies consistently show that many women desire a fulfilling life outside of their careers, including marriage, family, and personal growth. Hustle culture undermines a woman's natural ability to embrace her femininity and neglects the importance of work-life balance.

As a member of the Black Feminine Society, we encourage you to be a boss babe who thrives in her career while also prioritizing self-care, personal growth, and meaningful relationships. By embracing your femininity and rejecting the scam of hustle culture, you can create a fulfilling and balanced life that aligns with your long-term aspirations.
