SCREAMS MARY LOU MAMA DUCK MY ACTUAL FAVORITE PROFESSOR WHAT A GOOD BOSS I LOVE HER SO MUCH OH MY GOD I LOVE ?? HER ?? like okay I have actually had her every single semester of my college career && having the opportunity to be her TA && lecture for her has ?? given me a lot ?? and she’s supported me through a lot and helped me so much and taught me so much. I can honestly 500% say without her I would not be where I am today shes ?? been such a huge support structure for me ?? ( not to mention how many professors go the extra mile to bring you with them to greece && have you lecture at the metropolitan museum of art oh my god ) --- everything I know my habits the whole lot is thanks to her and even more so like ?? one shes reading the pjo books cause of me && two the fact she fully loves all my friends is just this weird warm feeling ?? idk how to explain it but when I get asked like “how’s your wife doing” or “is the gilgamesh one reading anything new” its just ?? like she wants to make sure I’m doing okay && be a part of my life ?? idk just fuck me mary lou means the utter world to me I love her so god damn much words can’t get it across

weeps into my hands thank you I just love what I do so much && how much I have been given the opportunity to learn from all over the globe to ?? I mean the anthropology department here is focused on central america so I take a lot of classes on the aztecs / mayans / etc. && the history department is focused heavily on asia so I’ve done some overview classes in that area but like ?? for instance, shinya linked me a copy of the bhagavad gita that has side-by-side translations and explanations of passages and I honest to god cried I wish I were kidding I was absolutely wrecked because this is what I love even outside the med. && it’s rare to have sb link me stuff that usually I would be doing as follow along on my own ( b/c you cannot read about a peoples beliefs without trying to understand the culture outside the religion ) && just !! aaah !!
