Sorry, but I'll never get over how painfully married Everlark are in Catching Fire.

Like, this is the most married behavior ever. He just knows where she's hurting and casually gives her a massage to relax her.

Then we have the "fake" old married couple banter. As if Katniss can really fake anything. 😉 And the whole family's in on it, too! I sometimes feel like Katniss' mom and Prim have accepted Peeta as part of their family, too. He and Haymitch were there for dinner that day for no particular reason at all.

He's also the only one who notices she's injured and trying to hide it. AND SHE CAN SEE IT IN HIS EYES.

Also, when Katniss is in distress, Peeta carries her, holds her in his lap, whispers soothingly to her, and reasons with her patiently to get rid of her irrational fears.

Peeta's lie about being married might have some truth to it after all. 😆
