RM: I guess I can bet that our next album is even better than the previous one.

OH NO BIH IM NOT READY. Suga joins and Joon mentioned his huge double screens, and he said he’s just watching Netflix on them hehe~

Imagine CEO!seokjin gets held up at work, that he actually forgets your date until the time of and shows up 45 min late to your date. But even so, he still finds you waiting for him, sitting at the quaint table for two, the sad candle is being played with by your lonesome, with your red dress and heels. When you look up, you whisper that when he didn't show up, you wanted to play it out and see if the staff would feel bad enough for you to give you a free meal. It makes him smile

Because youre so understanding about his situatio. But he’d rather sit down, take your hand and kiss it, and show the staff a happy ending.

6.00PM. Your dress is on with a lipstick of a matching color. Heels are of a different shade but it all ties down together nicely with a smile on your face with anticipation of what’s to come. Lately, it’s been hard to get a time off with Seokjin to relax so the one time the both of you set for a date out, you doll up to the tip.

6.45PM. It’s almost time. Just a couple more minutes before you get to experience what it feels like to fall in love all over again through a meal with the one you say goodnight (i love you) to. Thinking about it makes your toes curl and the excitement bubbles up within that you have to - “Waiter, another glass of water please.”

7.15PM. He’s a little late, which is something Seokjin is not known for or linked to but it happens. Meetings get dragged out and he’s one of the most hardworking people you’ve ever met so it’s understandable. It pokes at your heart as you wait at a table for two but he’s worth the wait.

7.45PM. Three glasses down with a trip to the bathroom and back to an empty table you’ve settled at. The candle on your table is wallowing left and right in your loneliness but still, you remain seated as you wait. Seokjin never goes back on his word and you hope he doesn’t. The staff had been checking on you every fifteen minutes, striking up a conversation so it doesn’t get to you but you can’t control your emotions.

It does get to you. You just don’t show it.

Biting down on your lip as you stare out the window, you’re interrupted with the chair being dragged back and taken by - “Seokjin…”

“Sorry I’m late, love,” He murmurs, reaching for your hand on the table and bringing it to his lips, planting a kiss there that makes up for the time spent biting on your heart with doubt.

You manage to smile, eyes glassy with overwhelming emotions of finally having your moment with the one you love.

“I was beginning to think you weren’t going to come…”

“Never. I’d turn down any country as long as I get to see you but this wasn’t my shot to call so I couldn’t just leave. But I’m here now,” He smiles, squeezing your hand in his hold, “So let’s make this worth it.”

To you, it is worth it. Because you fell in love with Seokjin again that night.

And to Seokjin, it was already worth it to begin with when he’s head over heels the moment he saw you sitting by the table.
