JJK folks on reddit are a different breed.

The one that comes to mind right away is - Marrying the Soft Hearted Villain. It's a Chinese novel and has a transmigrated (isekai'd) mc. It's a beastmen world though. Without spoiling, all I can say is that although she doesn’t become a HUGE bitch, there's a lot of face slapping happening 🤭.

There are too many isekai stories lately about women that go inside a book/videogame/whatever as the villainess and manages to save herself by being nice.

(And there are some really good uses of this trope)

But I would really like to see a female character getting isekai'd as the sweet female character that got fridged to bring character growth to the main male character, but this time managing to save herself by being a huge assertive bitch that refuses to be sacrificed. I think it would be fun.

i think maki / nobara is great and i know we’re all starved for wlw content but listen. yutamaki has the history. yutamaki has the development. the unwavering trust. the sharing of shameful secrets and receiving complete acceptance in return. yutamaki has “you’re gentler when you’re with yuta” and “handle her more carefully than you would a butterfly” and “i want to be like you; strong and resilient” and “she’s the sun shining in the winter sky”. yutamaki is like half a step away from being canon. it is everything.
