On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your faithfulness to God?
Unfortunately, some think that they can live life with one foot in the world and the other foot half way committed to God, but doing so is a slippery slope which always takes us BACKWARDS to trouble instead of FORWARD to Blessing.
Imagine your child treating you the way you treat God — giving lip service by pretending to be good, but sneaking around doing things you were taught not to do. Doing so dishonors God but grieves him!
You see, when we obey God, we demonstrate our love and faithfulness to Him. Jesus said, “If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love. These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.” (John 15:10–11).
Friend, playing games with God is never good because not only is He watching us, but because others are watching how we live. As the NEW TESTAMENT is a testament of the gospel to the world, our lives need to be a LIVING TESTAMENT that reflect God to others in how we talk, act, and live.
My dear friend, if you have been “playing games with God,” now is the time to live a much more obedient life — and with it will come peace and a deep satisfaction of being in your wealthy place. That is the game that God wants YOU to “WIN!”

What’s the first thing you think about when you hear the word “balance?”
Do you imagine a gymnast on a balance beam, a circus performer walking a tightrope, or riding a bike for the first time?? Or maybe it is all the things you are trying to 'balance' in your life! Isaiah 40:12 says the Lord weighed the mountains…and kept all those in balance! For us often, it’s not that easy!
Now we are by no means God, but many of us are constantly struggling to balance the commitments we take on. In doing so it is easy to feel stretched to the limit, overwhelmed and out of sync with the rhythm of life.
Jesus knew this about us when He said, “If then you cannot do even a very little thing, why are you anxious about other matters?” God will take care of us no matter what comes into our lives. When we feel frazzled and seem to be running in all directions, God is there to be our guide and “balance keeper.”
Whether you work at home or in the corporate world, you may be challenged with finding balance in your life and quickly get disillusioned in today’s fast-paced society trying to accomplish all the things that we feel required to do. It is easy to catch the 'Martha Servant Of Many' syndrome buzzing around doing good works, but consider the balance of Mary sitting at Jesus’ feet (Luke 10:38-42). The only way we can choose the best in all things is to remain in Him. We don’t have any excuse not to do so, especially if we realize that our priority and calling is to honor Him as our Savior and Lord in everything.
Choose this day and your will to approach your Heavenly Father in submission to His wise will and honor Him in all you do, and when you do, the balance will come! Remember He is your all sufficient Lord, El Shaddai, and when you put Him first and not the juggling act, He will help you keep a perfect balance of bountifulness in your life.

There’s nothing cuter than babies! Their expressions of wonderment, inquisitive nature of the world, precious expressions and interaction with parents and others are always entertaining and heartwarming – that is…until the first temper tantrum!
That’s right! If you have been a parent or a dotting uncle or aunt, you’ve seen these fits of displeasure, anger and even rage by these budding 'little angels!' Then when the terrible twos come, there are the outbursts of “Mine!”, “NO!”, and “I DON’T WANT TO!!!”
The truth is we do not have to be taught how to sin because we are all born with it. Romans 5:12 says that when Adam sinned, sin entered into the world and all of us have inherited sin as part of our human nature, and with the nature of sin comes the curse of physical death, but also spiritual death. But here’s the Good News (literally the meaning of the word 'Gospel.')
While we were all born into sin, we can be free from it through Christ who conquered both sin and death at His cross. What is required from you to receive this victory over sin and death is simple. Agree with God that you are a sinner, ask Him to forgive you of your sins and decide to change your mind about following your natural sinful ways and yield your life to Christ as the one who directs your life, instead of your natural sinful self.
Is this easy? NO! The life of discipleship (i.e. discipline) to follow Christ requires putting off your old ways and living a life that leads to eternal life. While we will never completely stop sinning and making mistakes in this life, we can through Christ put on his nature and share in his victory over sin and death
We are, by nature, just like those little babies, but as 1 Corinthians 13:11 tells us:
“When I was a child, I Spake as a child, I Understood as a child, I Thought as a child: But when I became a man, I put away childish things.”
Therefore friend, put off the old nature of the temper tantrum of sin and put on the sin redeeming nature of Christ.

When you’re looking to find answers when things seem uncertain or clear, there’s someone you can turn to who will give you the perfect insight to solve your problem. His name is Jesus. When You Seek Him You Will Find Him and He will give you the wisdom and insight you need When You Turn To His WORD.
When you take the time to read, absorb, and put into practice the principles of the Word of God, your words and actions will start to express the character of Jesus which are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. These are referred to as “The Fruits of The Spirit.” Practicing these fruits daily will strengthen you in every area of your life and give you the answer you seek.
In the classic old hymn “Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus” the writer encourages us to look full in His wonderful face, and the things of earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of His glory and grace. When we take our eyes off of whatever is troubling us and look at our Hope in Christ, the problem begins to look much smaller because then you’ start seeing things from God’s point-of-view and not your own - and his view on things is always 100% right and 20/20!
If you don’t know Jesus personally, Call Upon Him and desire to see things clearly, then please pray this prayer:
Lord Jesus, I want to have clear vision Which comes your word. I want to have your character inside of me. I know that YOU have all the answers I need. Please forgive me of my sins and help me to stay close to you all the days of my life. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

One morning while eating breakfast, I looked outside the kitchen window and saw my husband sitting on the patio with a cup of coffee reading his Bible. This comforted me with a wonderful feeling knowing that my husband loves the Lord with all his heart and lives his life as a godly man.
Seeing this helps me as a woman to feel safe because 1 Peter 3:7 says that husbands are to treat their wives delicately and with honor. I can think of no greater blessing for a woman than to have a godly husband that lives and practices living his life towards her in that way.
Ladies, choosing your life-long mate is the most significant decision that you will ever make. While loving that person is important, do not be fooled by the emotion of romance, but first seek the answer to the question, “Is This Man GOD’S WILL For MY LIFE?” Seek the LORD’s divine guidance that His Will be done, and not your own by listening to guidance from the Holy Spirt to know for absolute certainty the right path.
When you do you will be blessed with a marriage of Love and a house of PEACE.

A crew on a deep sea fishing boat sadly saw a whale struggling as it was ensnared in a large fishing net. The web covered almost its entire body and was wrapped around the tail and fins making it difficult to swim or dive.
The crew carefully pulled alongside with hooks and knives in an attempt to free the struggling animal, but each time they reached down to help, the whale violently resisted their efforts. After several attempts to save the whale, the caring crew sadly pulled away only to watch the whale continuing to try to free itself in vain from this deadly snare which would certainly guarantee its death.
This is a perfect picture of people in this life. We are all born into a web of sin that ensnares us that will also eventually lead us to our demise. The boat that comes alongside to free us from our bonds is God, yet the natural tendency of people likewise is to resist God’s help.
Just like that obstinate whale, you too can choose to fight against being saved, but there is no escape from this web of sin without the help of the great “Fisher of Men” - the LORD Jesus Christ.
Before The Web Of SIN ends your life, let God free you and you will not only live in this life, but in the next life in eternity. Let Him come close to you and simply ask Him to help you - AND HE WILL.
Friend, will you choose to do that today? Or will you resist and let that net drown you?
