Dammit Moon Moon | Gia & Toby

Standing outside Twin Mmons, Gia leaned back against the bricks, fighting her lighter. A small breeze seemed intent o coming between her and her cigarette, causing Gia an aggravated sigh. “Come on,” she growled, giving one last frustrated exhalation, she tossed the unsmoked cigarette aside.

Glancing up, she caught sight of a familiar face. Cracking a grin, Gia waved him over. “Hiya, stranger!” She exclaimed, eyes twinkling. “Whatcha been up to?”

Pushing herself off from against the wall, she smirked up at the male. “Hey, you don’t happen to have a working lighter, do you? I think mine’s seen better days…” Her voice trailed off as she dipped her hand into her pocket to show him the offending article.

“Either way,” she promised. “I’ll buy you a drink inside, yeah?”

Gia's brows arched, a smirk stretched across her lips. "If there's nothing to it, why are you so defensive about it, Williams?" she teased, sinking into the seat opposite him. Twin Moons was one of Gia's favorite spots. No matter what, she was surrounded by her makeshift Were family, and regardless, she had drinks near at hand...especially now as Blaize slid a placatingly cold one across towards her. "Ooooh, clever boy. Plying me with drinks!" she teased. "Don't think that'll get you out of it. I can't even express to you how genuine she was. That picture? Totally candid! Trust me, she was completely unprepared, poor thing." Gia chuckled softly. "But," she added, whipping out her phone to show him the image again. "Look at that face. Look at that face and tell me she's no good and you don't care." She paused, her fingers wrapping around the cool stem of her glass as she raised it towards her lips. It washed down her throat, cold and refreshing, and Gia was silent for a moment before she launched into the primary aspect of her speech. "Look, she totally screwed you over. Believe me, I know how terrible that feels and I would never ask you to forgive that if I didn't think she was genuinely sorry. But I firmly believe that she is. You don't come back if you aren't. And, I know, it's for her aunt...but, Blaize...She's still the same girl you used to know." She shrugged. "What do you think? I know you insist there's nothing there, and that's fine. But before either of us being right or wrong...She's your friend. Are you still hers?" This time, when Gia fell quiet, her eyes gleamed. "And don't think I didn't hear what you said. You knew she was back. You totally met up with her! Come on, spill! I can see it in your eyes, so don't bother denying it. Was it arranged? Did she go to your house? Did you meet by chance? Tell me all about it!"

Won't Say I'm In Love || Gia & Blaize (closed)

Blaize had been on his guard. Ever since he’d gotten the text (and picture) from Gia that she’d finally seen Lilly, Blaize had been ready. He knew it was coming. Even if Blaize had spent the last six years trying to move on from Lilly, Gia had always been their biggest fan girl. And honestly, though she’d helped him through losing Lilly, he didn’t know if she’d ever stopped rooting for them. And judging by her immediately texting him upon seeing Lilly, he was guessing he was right.

And so, he sat at Twin Moon, sipping on a beer and waiting for the shoe to fall. The calm that he liked to surround himself in was hard to find here at Twin Moon; but it was also the place that he felt most at home. Surrounded by his own kind.

And whatever little peace he’d had was shattered when he heard Gia calling out his name. He looked up and watched her practically toss people out of the way to get to him. And when she finally reached his table, he held up his hand just as she opened her mouth to speak. “No, I haven’t been avoiding you; yes, I got your text; yes, I knew she was back; and no, this doesn’t mean that your fabled tale of us being together is coming true,” he said, answering every question he knew she’d pose to him before she could even do so.

He waved to a drink that was sitting on the table with his beer, “I went ahead and ordered you a drink if you’d like to sit down and make whatever case I know you’re working up in your head.” He smiled playfully up at his fellow wolf and best friend.
