CiDR trial placements I made based on a bunch of screenshots I took from the preview video.

The only notable thing is that it's in a female-male-female-male kind of order, an order that was only used in Danganronpa 2... for some reason-

And the Discord said that other than what I already noticed the placements are mostly arbitrary, so, case closed I suppose-

Random fun fact about me but ever since I've seen Danganronpa splash art I've kind of been obsessed with them.

It's just the fact that you can display a characters personality and skill simply throughout a very cool looking floaty pose followed by a dark streak that makes the whole thing look fancy. You can add objects around the character to add even more subtle info.

The pose, the expression, the style you choose to draw it in, the characters design overall... all of those can tell you something. And I just love looking at them. Zooming into the image, studying all of the details that the artist thought of... the way they shaded and colored it.

I think it's a very pretty way to display a character. While I was drawing Charlie I just felt like a mother making her child look all nice for picture day at school.

I'm not even necessarily making it for a "Charlie but in Danganronpa" scenario or anything. I just really wanted to finally try it myself for the fun of it. And, honestly, it was a lot of fun!

The only teeny tiny issue was that her body is pretty tiny so doing a more crazy pose is basically not possible- Mostly because I wanted all of her features to be clearly visible.

And yeah if you pay attention you can tell that I'm reusing the jewelry I drew in her intro post-

I don't feel like coming up with new jewelry ok... ;-;

I'll come up with new random jewelry/other valuable shiny stuff whenever I'll need it for the next time-

Also her design overall changed a bit overtime. It's mostly subtle details but I do think that changing some stuff helped a lot.

Karma Intro

Ok, so, this is a very minor character but one that is still worth mentioning.

At some point in the show, Mina would get a cat, that she would very purposefully name Karma.

Why? Because she's trying to make everyone in the culdesac believe that Karma actually brings bad luck.

The whole "Mina is a witch" thing and the fact that Karma is a black cat already come in handy for Mina, but... The random coincidences that seem like bad luck that keep happening are also a deciding factor. Mina even went as far as to put a bell on Karma's collar so that people always know when she's around...

To the kids it's literally like this scene right here and I find that kinda funny-

They run away like crazy only for Karma to just chill in the sun or something-

Although some of them would never really believe Mina... (even though the "bad luck" would keep happening to them)

...looking at you, Eddy-

Karma is a completely normal cat, just to clarify-

Since Mina and Jonny are kinda meant to be opposites, I decided to give Mina her own... how do I say this... her own Plank? Sidekick... basically? Even though Karma wouldn't appear as often as Plank, she would come in handy for the superhero roleplay things and as a plot device.

Incorrect Mina quotes cuz why not:

Double D: I have made the decision to trust you.

Mina: A horrible decision, really.

Jonny: Why's it called an oven when you of in the cold food and you of out hot eat the food?

Mina: ...What?

Naz: :)

Naz: Turn that frown upside down!

Naz: Not sure what I was expecting...

Jonny: Mina and I are so close we even share a toothbrush!

Mina: ...We what?

Mina: When I first met you, I thought you were weird and annoying.

Jonny: And?

Mina: And you are.

Kevin: I can't believe you live nearby, and you won't let anyone crash at your place.

Mina: You people already know too much about me.

Kevin: I know exactly three facts about you, and one of them is that you won't let any of us crash at your place.

Double D: Can you keep a secret?

Mina: Do you know anything about my life?

Double D: No I do not. Good point.

Jonny: Am I right, Mina?

Mina: I’m almost certain you’re not, but to be fair, I wasn’t listening.
