joseph gave a long spiel about how grateful he is for the impact Night Vale had — he told a story about seeing a fictional flights board in an airport and that it felt so strange to see Night Vale up there. he was super humble and said that Night Vale ‘belongs to the fans’ and takes no ownership of Sexy Creationism.

then jeffery comes in like ‘yeah, what he said, but personally i think it does go to my head’ and giggled and said “It feels pretty awesome.”

Anyone else ever think about the fact that every single Sunday, Father Mulcahy has to wake up, dress in his robes, gather up his holy oddities, go to the mess tent, move things around so that they vaguely resemble a church setting, hold at least two services (one for Catholics and then a second for Protestants), services where 0- maybe 5 or 6 people show up, then clean up and put it all back as he found it, collect his holy oddities, put those safely back in his tent, and be raring to go for breakfast that is now happening in that same makeshift church space???
