(idea came from me and my friend talking about male Dani being absurdly obsessed with Anton while female Dani is barely loving him.)
Based on a conversation I had with my brother once (I thought this was out of pocket and hilarious and it's been sitting in my mind ever since) (I was Scott Pilgrim) (which is hilarious)
Mer au? Dani was forced on land when the poison starting being dumped in the water. It killed her two friends in the beginning.
She was originally found by Anton and Diego washed up on shore gasping for hair. Her skin tinted red. Originally Anton was only treating her to sell her later or use her as a trophy. But slowly he grew soft for the mer. Dani struggles to speak human language so she doesn't fully understand what the two humans talk about all she knows is she likes the tiny one. He gives her extra food and is obviously a child.
I think she eventually finds out she can turn her tail into legs when she gets wet. So she explored the house (very nude might I add). Her hair is in knots from the abuse and lack of care.
At some point she leaves the house and finds herself on mainland. She is found by the farmers. By now she understands most of the human language but she can't speak it

Me skipping my way into far cry 6 fanfiction.
During the mission where Dani finds Diego alone in the mansion they are cornered faster than suspected. The soldiers are too eager to kill Dani and fire without regard. A bullet aims for Diego. Right in the middle of his eyes but Dani pushes him and the bullet shoots through her shoulder. She lands on the ground next to Diego. Who immediately jolts up and grabs her. He tries to look at her injury but she is too heavy. Her handmade armer. That weird rocket thing in her back. It's too much. He turns to the soldiers to demand help but before he can utter a word a bullet goes through their head.
"father!!" Diego cries when he sees his father walk in. Anton looks down at Diego's teary eyes and dais limp form and sighs. He scolds his son for getting attacked too....animals. But because Diego has been...behaved they will keep this one.
Dani comes to a Realization after Clara was shot. Killing Anton will only cause more deaths. At least with him president it will end in only a few years.
Killing him would cause war and death within the country. Clara even Said it herself. She claimed she would stay and fight for the people but really she would only kill the people.
The only hope for yara is Diego. The small little Castillo can save everything in only a few years. He just needs someone to take care of him..
Really teach him right from wrong. Standing next to Juan she thinks. She thinks hard. About the future. About the deaths that have happened. And the deaths that will happen. She looks at Juan. She knows the moment he finds out about her wanting to back out he and mama won't hesitate to put her down....
"for yara" are the last words Juan hears before his body falls limp. His head slams into the floor. Churro barks and pulls at her pant leg.
She pushed him away and grabs a radio.
And sighs her freedom away for the better of yara. And for Diego.

I feel kinda bad for. It caring that Clara died. I was never a big fan of hers.
Also I've been thinking about this but honestly if I was on yara I would probably let Castillo live mainly because it makes no difference.
Even Clara admitted after Anton's death there will still be war and death.
To me this means killing Anton would only make the death continue on longer. Anton's death rate wood slowly steady itself as more yarans stop fighting. (Yes it's a fucked up idea but it's true) in the end everyone Dani knows would die anyway. All killing Anton would do is kill many more.
Because of spoilers (sob) I already know the ending to the game and I don't like it. It's a bad ending to me and kinda anticlimactic. So I want to rewrite the ending once I finish the game. And Im looking for co-writers if anyone is interested
